The place has super nice staff first of all. So friendly. Secondly, the food is AMAZING. Wow we got the Edamame and they asked if we wanted Chili Oil added and we said YES! Then we got the Gyoza which was so delicious. And then we got the 3 Roll Deal, and let me tell you they were huge!! My wife and I couldnt even finish them. Super cool wild styles of Sushi. Will go again!! read more

Good service but the food is ok at best. It was plated nicely but I've gotten better sushi from the grocery store. The saving grace was sitting at the bar. Our drinks were great and the bartender is a riot. read more

2nd time here...fun experience, good food, service and great chef. I've been to many Japanese Habachi restaurants over the years and our chef had many new tricks and fully entertained us. Highly recommended for a fun night out and any birthday celebration. read more

Tokyo Harbor - Sushi Bars Near Me - Plano, Texas

The food was great!! Unfortunately the slow service really put the dinner in a standstill. The time between the drinks the sushi and hibachi took forever. And all of the servers had that "I can't wait to get out of here" look. Really hope they fix the service, because everything else was amazing. read more

Just had lunch here today with my daughter and it was wonderful. The sushi was fresh and their Mai Tai was delicious. We will be back and we found our new sushi place. Service was excellent as well. read more

Broken heater, no wait staff serving us besides our drinks... we left. It pays dividends to say I'll "be right with you".

Food was great. Price was great. Service was great. 10/10 would eat here again. I don't say that often, either, I am quite picky.

If Tokyo Harbor keeps up what I experienced a couple weeks ago when I visited, it's gonna get that fifth star eventually. FOOD We came for hibachi lunch, which was incredibly good for the price point. You get a lot of food AND a show on top of it! I opted for the scallops and my lovely mother the skirt steak. The scallops were done quite well, and the steak was cut into cubes before being served. Axel our hibachi chef gave us a great show involving blindfolds, knife juggling, and torch spinning. I'd have appreciated it if the rice got a little more flavoring and char, but there really was so much of it that I couldn't complain haha. Because my mom and I like to over-order, we also got the 2 roll lunch special and were particularly impressed with the rice-to-filling ratio of their rolls. Rather than other restaurants that skimp on the filling and load up on the rice, this place did the exact opposite! Spicy yellowtail and shrimp tempura were both jam-packed with filling and super delicious. SERVICE Many points to Ryan, our dapper and attentive waiter. AMBIANCE The interior was a little confusing. You can tell that a lot of work went into installing the various colored lights in the walls and under the counters, but there was a lot going on to the point it was almost distracting. But to be fair, when my mom and I went we were quite literally the only two people in the entire hibachi room, so with some more publicity this place could easily be the next Zenna, date night, hip party place. Support new businesses! Check this out for lunch. read more

Best experience and delicious large portions. Highly recommend the hibachi and our chef was excellent!! I cannot wait to come back. The cost compared to other places was great. This hidden gem is a great place read more

Tokyo Harbor - Delicious Hibachi - Sushi Bars Near Me - Plano, Texas

In from out of town and really wanted some good sushi. Used grub hub for delivery. I ordered the Memories of Geisha roll. It was supposed to be spicy but all I could taste was cream cheese and soggy soy paper. The description said tempura style...but I'm pretty sure they left that part out. I also ordered the hibachi vegetables. They had a good flavor but were really over cooked. read more

Huge portions. Food was very good. Service was good. Big tables so you can have bigger parties than most hibachi. Downside is it is pretty loud and was very warm with all the grills running and people there. read more

best hibachi ever. i love this place, me and my boyfriend go there all the time even when it's not for a special event.

First visit to Tokyo Harbor tonight and it was fantastic! Every roll better than the last. So fresh and amazing flavor! They currently have an awesome all you can eat special. What an amazing deal, really hope they keep it. Jonathan was our server and he was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Five star service! This place is fabulous! We will definitely be back for for more delicious sushi. Thank you for a great night Jonathan! read more

They have amazing customer service and will do anything to satisfy their customers, food is always amazing also!

I'm giving it a 2 star because the service and staff was awesome. The food however, isn't good at all. They cut their salmon in all their rolls with the crispy bread. Spicy salmon roll (I did not order a crunchy) had it laced into the salmon. Just very disappointing. I wanted to try something new but stuck with the basic. It's a way to.take the fresh and flavor away from the salmon. Also allows them to add less of the fish you are hoping to get. From my discussion with the sushi maker he says they do that on all the rolls. read more

Nice place and great sushi. Recommend the Butterly Kiss and Chili Pepper Fish. Everything was very fresh, we will certainly come back

Went here and it's just tooooo packed, food smelled good but the elbow to elbow type of seating just wasn't for us, unfortunately we ended up walking out and went somewhere else. Might give it a try in the future but that day wasn't the day read more

LOVE THIS SPOT! I first ordered delivery via DoorDash and was so impressed with the food. Both the sushi and the hibachi were packaged perfectly and arrived in great shape. I then went in and ordered hibachi and had a great time! The portions are HUGE and the cost is fair. Try the New York Roll- it's amazing! read more

Very large portion of food for the hibachi grill. Each meal comes with soup, salad, noodles, shrimp, and rice.

They have the BEST fried rice ever, but I will say a few weeks ago they must have turned their phone off or something because I called and someone hung up on me while I was trying to place an order, and then I couldn't reach anybody for over an hour and they sent me to a voicemail it was strange. Other than that the food is good! read more

Food was good, but the service from the manager was so shitty. All the power in the restaurant went out in the middle of the meal, and not once did the manager on duty come around and apologize to people. No one knew what was going on. They couldn't accept cards so the manager told us with attitude to drive to the ATM. Next time, pay your power bill. Won't be coming back. read more

This is located in an unassuming area off of 75 and 15th St. We went for dinner on a Saturday, and it was pretty empty except for the Hibachi area. The main dining area is one big open space. Between the three of us, we ordered Age Tofu, Avocado Salad, and Grilled Squid for appetizers. They tasted just ok and their portions were tiny... I would not get them again. For entrees, we got the Tuna and White Tuna Sashimi, Monster Roll, Rocky Roll, and Nabeyaki Udon. The sashimi was fresh and worth returning for, but the rolls tasted similar and were not memorable. The udon was served lukewarm and the ingredients did not resemble a typical nabeyaki udon. However, I might revisit for their Hibachi, as many Yelpers seem to like it. Prices are decent and service was pretty good. read more

Been here a couple of times with the family. Best to come during lunch, not busy. The servings were huge, the rice and noodles very tasty. We've had the steak, shrimp and scallop as our protein choices. I think during the second visit, our Hibachi chef was a little heavy handed with the soy sauce, so it was a little too salty. But definitely an entertaining experience. read more

We've been coming to this restaurant for a while now, we love chef Kilo, & his food. Sometimes we get other cooks who are normally good as well. We came here for my birthday, a party of 15-16. We got seated, and the server tried to fit all of us on one side as we told her a couple of the girls won't be getting enter but only appetizers & sharing with their husbands. I also decided to share a combo with a friend this time as I wasn't feeling too good to eat a lot. We still ordered 14 out of 16-17. Plus appetizers/sushi & drinks. This wasn't my first time here, and I loved it was why I chose this place. For some reason this time the staff seemed too upset at the people that were splitting the food. Kilo was the cook for one of the grills, he provided amazing service, all the special things like catching broccoli, train, egg thing but the chef we got on the girls side did not do ANYTHING to entertain. Which we let go, but the food for people that ordered a whole entree was way lesser than normal, and lesser than the other side. The people sharing a plate got BARELY a few bites of food. which normally is so much that I bring left overs for next day and it's enough for 2. The cook seemed to have realized the quantities were very less compares to our husbands plates, and Upon asking the cooks manager refused to do anything about it. We let it go, but this was the worst birthday dinner experience. A lot of the guests that came would have become regular customers like us if their experience had been good like our past experiences. Only a couple of the people didn't order hibachi combos and wanted to share, they got upset over this small thing and made sure our experience was bad. I just wanted to put out there that this restaurant already lost & will be loosing a lot of potential customers over this. At some point although I couldn't eat much due to minor sickness I wanted to throw money at their face and ask for more food & better service. This happened on October 2 at 8:30pm. read more

So my boyfriend and I absolutely love hibachi. It is a common place we go for date night. Before this place we would always go to Benihana. After two visits, I truly believe we have found our new hibachi home. The food is amazing. Finally a Hibachi house that knows how to season food. Come for the show, stay for the Flavors. Extra +, it is close to home, we spend half of what we would usually spend at Benihana, and the portion size is way better; no add on's or extras needed. Sure when we leave Planet Fitness is right there shaming us....lol, but the shame is worth a stomach full of goodness!!!! read more

Walked in for dinner for two on a Wednesday evening. Was immediately greeted and seated; unfortunately the place was super empty because the horrible hail storm expected to hit. But it was perfect for us, plenty of attentive & friendly service, from taking our drink orders to taking our appetizer order to taking our entree order. The time between order & arriving was great. The hibachi chef was incredibly sweet and friendly & the hibachi grill show was fun. Omg our food... was amazing... from the crab rangoons to the sushi to our steak/shrimp/sea bass entrees. Everything was fresh and cooked accurately as requested. Highly recommend... will definitely be back for more read more

We made reservations for a birthday party for 12 at 5:30 on a Saturday night. I was happy to find a place that took reservations, but it almost seemed unnecessary once we got there because we were only one of a few hibachi tables being used. the flavors on the food was pretty good, however I expected more from the fried rice. It wasn't as flavorful as other hibachi restaurants. the sushi choices were plentiful, I enjoyed the role I got, Jimmy sexy roll. it feels like the restaurant could use some updating in regards to the decor. Based off the reviews, I expected more. If you're in need of a hibachi restaurant, this one is okay. We however, will continue looking for one that we enjoy more. read more

Walked into this place, excited from the pics, and immediately walked out. It's smokey (expected I guess, but also get better ventilation) and it smelled like egg. Not the good smell of eggs In the morning, if that's a thing, but like old poultry mix with wet cat smell. In my opinion, when you walk into a restaurant it's supposed to smell good and make you want to eat, not run out gagging. read more

One of my favorite sushi stops in the metroplex. The staff is friendly and the sushi is superb. We have been here several times and try something new off the menu every visit. So far every appetizer, sushi roll, bento box and entree have not disappointed. I like the variety of fish in the sashimi chefs choice and the fish is always very cold and fresh. read more

Love this place! Best best Hibachi! Great service and chefs. Their portions are generous and priced well.

What a treat!! Am amazing birthday!!! Great friends (you must supply), great drinks (rainbow salt on margarita), and great food!! Tried out this restaurant for a date night. The hibachi chef forgot one of the meats ordered for our meals, and quickly cooked it to get it served so he could clean up and move on to the next table. The meat was undercooked as it caused severe food poisoning to my fiancé following dinner. Very disappointed in our experience. read more

Was there for a birthday celebration and we loved it! Our chef was awesome! Ordered the salmon and shrimp hibachi meal and it was really good. Kept smelling this place for weeks as I was going into the gym next door. Finally checked it out tonight, we did the hibachi. Start off with soup and salad and then for the main got the filet and scallops and it was superb! Really wanted to get the fried ice cream but you get so much food we were too full to get it. Food and service was excellent and will definitely be back. read more

Boyfriend and I just tried their AYCE sushi and it was delish! Nice selection. Was kind to adjustments aka no cucumber for the boyfriend. Was fresh and very pretty on the platter. Since we were together they combined everything on one large slab which was great! Don't need a bunch of plates everywhere. We will definitely be back read more

Sadly missed the mark. I came here in November for lunch and loved it. Great service, delicious food. Maybe the fact that it was dead had something to do with it. Came today for Valentine's Day dinner to get extremely slow service (took nearly two hours to get through dinner). They actually got our order wrong (after waiting so long), and all dishes were pretty poor quality (downright awful compared to our visit in November. Inattentive waitstaff, just awful. read more

Tokyo Harbor - Hibachi birthday - Sushi Bars Near Me - Plano, Texas

I had the sashimi platter which was 15 pieces of not so high quality fish that came on a bed of ice. The sliced scallop was warm which was alarming. After the meal I felt like I needed something to wash the taste out of my mouth. I think this place is better for their hibachi than for their sushi. I don't recommend getting their sushi read more
