Just OK for me. I enjoyed my meal. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. It just isn't special if that makes sense. I don't live in the area and was just in town for a couple days. This place was by my hotel and I was hungry. It did the trick but when I'm traveling I like to make every meal and every calorie count. I want to be wowed. Nothing said Japanese about this place. Don't go expecting authenticity but the restaurant was clean and the staff was nice enough. It's not bad and I would give it a soft recommendation.

I walked about a mile to have sushi!! Google stated they have sushi. It's only a little place with no sushi. Really sucks that I was craving sushi. Maybe change ur advertising before more people come here and get disappointed !! The girl was really nice ! Place was clean ! Food was just so so

I ordered the kids steak plate. As you can see there is no steak present.

Please don't support this business. The staff made a mistake on my order. Not only would they not acknowledge their mistake. They proceeded to call my phone back repeatedly to argue with me about the mistake. Then when I showed them the pictures they lied about it and would not get me in contact with the manager or owner.

Sorry this was midway through eating. What can I say I was hungry!

They literally sold my order to someone else. Go to the one on forest drive the food taste way fresher and the service is great.

I live in Columbus and haven't had the options like CO has. We shared a green papaya salad, and it was delicious! I would eat an entire bowl by myself. Don't forget to tear up the basil - it completes the flavor! We got the Lotus, Lemon, Firecracker, Sesame and Pork Belly sushi rolls. That is the order I would rank the rolls in flavor. It is a shame if anyone uses shoyu (sou sauce) or even wasabi when eating these rolls. The lotus has a rice paper wrap (for those who don't like seaweed) and an aioli on top that was so refreshing and flavorful. The lemon was honestly a very close second - maybe even a tie for first. I don't normally like salmon but it was so fresh and the lemon slice was refreshing and clean!

It has everything I'm looking for in a Poke Bowl. - The interior is clean and beautiful. I wouldn't say it's a traditional looking restaurant by any means but the artistic choices make it feel a little more upscale than it actually is. Bad: - The wait. When I first got into the restaurant the host was not at the front desk. So I sat down for about 10 minutes and waited. The host only appeared after a family of three walked in. Note: I'd love to give the place 5 stars but with how I calculate stars I can't because of the initial seating issue. I will re-review eventually to see if the host seating is a consistent issue.

The owner / chef Ryo takes care in what he's making and shows great pride in his finished product and it tastes great too. He gets fish that other restaurants do not have access to or have chosen not to purchase. I have seen flying fish, jellyfish, fresh Cobia, fresh Spanish mackerel, live clams and scallops and other seafood that you cannot obtain anywhere else. If you are looking for the best sushi in the area, you don't need to go anywhere else. You can go anywhere and buy a California roll but that is really not what I would consider sushi that's like going to Ruth Chris steakhouse and ordering a hot hot dog.

I was given chicken nuggets and told they don't have chicken wings... Glad I found their menu online to prove I wasn't crazy. Everything is either overcooked, dry, or super salty. No idea why this place was even packed. Sushi rice was dry. The chicken nugget thing mentioned above was overly dry and salty. Tonkotsu Ramen was overcooked. Either they chose the wrong type of noodle or let it sit forever before serving it. The two slices of meat that came with the ramen was maybe from pork chop meat? Usually it's made with cha shew meat or pork belly. Two super lean and dry slices of meat made the bowl look like a joke. The noodle was salty enough that I don't even want to try the broth. Edamame was okay. Other than the fact that they don't look appetizing, the shell was brownish and many bean pockets (if you know what I was trying to say) were empty, that's probably the best dish on the table. If you want sushi or ramen or anything that's on their menu, do yourself a favor and please try to find it somewhere else.

There is easily 300 things to order on the menu - Food tasted bland Someone said it best in a review on here "the food was prepared like any other Chinese shop, just twice the price". That's about what I though too. It was really weird because we went at 4:30 PM and there was no one in the restaurant. It said to wait to be seated. We stood by the counter for about ten minutes waiting to be seated in a completely empty restaurant. The staff working just kind of looked at us like we were lost. Anyway, ordered spring rolls and they were $5.50 for two pretty small ones. Also, very greasy. I got the Singapore Noodles with chicken. It was okay. I kind of felt like I could make it at home. My girlfriend got Philadelphia Sushi and Shrimp. She said they all tasted like it came from a grocery store. I agreed. Columbia has a lot of Sushi restaurants. I'd skip this one.

The drinks were blended very well and used fresh lime juice, which was nice. The appetizers -- the kimchi fries and the boneless wings were pretty standard. The fries were crunchy, but we felt like there was more cheese than there was kimchi and sauce, so we've had better kimchi fries elsewhere. The cheese was very gooey though. The boneless wings weren't as crunchy as they could have been, especially coming out in a stone dish, but the garlic soy sauce was still pretty good. Our mains were really good -- the japchae, which I ordered with fried tofu, had the right texture and flavor, and was delicious yet spicy. The tofu was a little bland though. My partner enjoyed the squid and pork belly dish and said that the sauce was similar to the japchae sauce. The portions were pretty normal and not too big, so we had a few leftovers but not too many. The prices were also pretty reasonable as well. Overall we were really happy with our food here and would come back if we ever visited again.
