This is an amazing hidden gem in cranberry and I need more people to go so it does not close down. Amazing staff. Great drinks, great food and if you've never been to a Korean barbecue, I suggest going here because they show you the ropes. It's way easier than you think and they have really good high-quality meat selection that make it totally worth it and the price is a bargain for the area and the quality. If you don't go here you're missing out more people need to go. This would be like a spot I would take my friends. I could take my family. Be a cute little date spot as well.

This is a nice new spot in Cranberry. It was a fun experience to do with my friend and the option we selected provided plenty of food for the two of us to eat. While the server was friendly, the kept forgetting to bring us items we requested (like water, I never got it during my meal). Also, my drink cup had something in it so that was disappointing. You cook the food yourself so it's as good as you make it. I enjoyed the experience and do recommend trying it,but it's questionable if I'd return again.

Togyu is basically located in a strip mall area with plenty of parking in an adjacent parking lot. The inside is pretty large with tables/booths that could fit 2-8 people where they can all cook. There is also a large bar. They don't serve alcohol yet but are currently BYOB with no corkage fee. We started off with some appetizers and they were delicious! We then got down to business with cooking the Warrior combo that came with ribeye, New York strip, boneless short rib, chicken thigh, and Japanese pork sausage. If you don't want to have to cook your food, there's a bunch of other ready to eat options available as well! Of course we had to end the meat with a sweet treat and the sesame balls hit the spot! Our server was super nice and even helped us cook at times when it was clear we were struggling. She was very personable and checked in on us at appropriate intervals.

Togyu is a terrific Asian barbecue place in Cranberry that allows you to grill your own meat on a small stove in the middle of the table (there are how-to cook guides, but if you don't want to do it yourself, the servers can stand there and cook the meat for you). My friend and I got the starter combo ($60 for two people; comes with shrimp, chicken, and steak; rice, lettuce, sauces and Korean banchan side dishes). The meat cooked very well and was marinated properly, and the Korean side dishes (kimchi, spicy cucumber salad, and radish dish) also had great flavor and spice / heat to them. Aside from grill combos, there are other dishes you can order like bibimbap and bulgogi fries. The interior decor is tasteful and modern. We didn't drink but they have a full-bar available. The server was very attentive and made sure we knew what to do - no problems with our order or the food. I liked this place a lot and hope it does well. It was worth the trip from Pittsburgh to Cranberry.

Presentation of the Starter Option. Nice.

First pay attention to location, they are in the back near the movie theater. Jackie our server was great walked through the menu and our options. We have been to many different BBQ so decided to give them a try on Labor Day. Open and relatively busy for a holiday Monday. Btw we made reservations, probably a good idea. Very nice remodel from previous restaurant. So we started with the Scallion Pancake. For dinner we went with the Starter option and added Mixed Vegetables. Presentation very nice see pictures. The meal was good but not great. I prefer more sauce options than offered at our initial visit. I also enjoy the Bulgogi sauce. My wife liked it enough to request another trip, but I will take her to another one for her to measure. Over all good but not great. If this is your first foray into Asian BBQ give it a try.

Cranberry has an Asian BBQ - how cool is that! Visited on Day 2 after lunch hours and restaurant was mostly empty. The inside looks a bit like a chain of booths, which is I guess what you need. I would call it efficient. They do both BBQ as well as plated dishes during lunch, which has an abbreviated menu. We picked some dishes off their lunch menu and got some BBQ too, to try both. We got Bibimbap off the lunch menu and shrimps, bulgogi, and chicken off the ala carte bbq. They also have BBQ combos, which come with the side accompaniments/banchan. Ala carte doesn't come with banchan. The full experience is really had when you have a larger party and you do the combos, which seems to scale roughly $30pp. We had a real attentive server. She explained how everything worked and started us out on grilling the meat and then we took over. Not sure what is going to be normal here: many other NYC BBQs have the servers do all the cooking. Food was good, no issues. Chicken portion was huge. I also had a lychee sakura drink, which was fizzy and wonderful. Opening days issues - we did have some. There was confusion about two variants of bibimbap (lunch vs dinner). We ordered one of each, one beef, one plain, but we got two identical dishes. The chef actually came out and apologized (and we maybe were charged less). Some confusion with the lychee drink (minor, didn't raise an issue). Our grill went out, but 2-3 people rushed when they saw me inspecting the switch. So, minor issues and they're on it in fixing them. They're doing great for Day 2! Looking forward to being back. So happy to have these folks in Cranberry!

Owner and server were great - will come again soon! Everyone should check this place out.

Got to finally try this new KBBQ place in cranberry and it's definitely one of my new favorites. The martinis were well made and the ambiance was nice and calm. They had some of the best kimchi that I've had in PA I could easily order three bowls of it. We were able to try multiple different meats, appetizers, and sides in the two hour time frame they allot- definitely worth a try and if you haven't done KBBQ before they have helpful pictures and waiters who will explain the process to you!

Delicious! We got the meat lovers combo for 2 people and we had plenty to take home! The meat was tender and it was a great experience. Our waitress, Geesun, was so lovely and provided the best service! Best new restaurant I have been to in years! Will be returning

I came here with a group of 6 people total for the $35 all you can eat deal. It was nice that we were sat at a table with two grills so it wasn't too crowded. There was a huge selection of appetizers, meats, and sides to order from. The marinated cucumber was great, however the kimchi was not spicy at all and was a little sweet. It seemed like it needed to ferment longer or something. The meats were all good, the galbi was the best. The chicken karage and tofu soup are also something you must order. I saw other reviews talking about small portions for the sides but that was not all you can eat so we didn't have that problem. Also typically in Korean restaurants you can get free refills on sides. The only thing is I feel it took a little long for us to get started with grilling. It also took us awhile to pay, we tried to bring out bill to another waitress but they said we had to wait for our server. Overall I think this is one of the better all you can eat kbbq places in Pittsburgh

Togyu is a refreshing fun new addition to Cranberry. Those fans of Asian cuisine and lovers of hibachi, listen up. The experience is unique the food was delicious and the service was great! Loved the experience of cooking my own dish. There are options if you don't. Hope this stays for many years!

Examples of menu items are appetizers (e.g., shrimp cocktail and nachos), soups, salads, wings, burgers, flatbreads, entrees (e.g., pasta primavera, chicken, duck, pork chop, swordfish, and A-5 wagyu), desserts (e.g., limoncello and cheesecake), and drinks (e.g., mocktails, cocktails, wines, whiskeys, and beers). My husband and I have eaten here twice--once for lunch last year and once for dinner this year. Both times, we enjoyed the employees' service and the foods. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Passionfruit-Paloma Mocktail - 4 stars - sour. Spring Sangria - 4.5 stars - slightly fruity. Jumbo Pretzel - 5 stars - huge size with beer cheese and mustard sauce. French Onion Soup - 5 stars - This soup had a rich broth, onions, and cheese. Ybor Cuban sandwich - 4.5 stars - nicely crunchy toast with tasty pork, ham, and Swiss cheese and a side of crispy onion rings. Salmon - 5 stars - I ordered this entree both times. The salmon was perfectly cooked and came with flavorful farro grains, cherry tomatoes, and asparagus. Filet Mignon - 5 stars - This 8-ounce steak was cooked mid-rare as my husband prefers. It came with whipped potatoes and his choice of au poivre style (black pepper crusted with bourbon cream).

Owned by longtime locals John and Melanie Dober, it positions itself as a warm, community-focused spot blending upscale comfort food with a welcoming vibe--think handcrafted sandwiches, premium Black Angus steaks, fresh seafood, flatbreads, and daily specials, all with thoughtful wine and bourbon selections. We were excited for what promised to be a polished neighborhood gem, and in many ways, it delivered. The food was genuinely great and the clear highlight. Our dishes were flavorful, well-executed, and creative without being fussy--fresh ingredients shone through, portions were generous, and everything arrived hot and beautifully plated. It's easy to see why so many reviewers rave about the crab cakes, steaks, and chef specials; the kitchen clearly knows what it's doing. This is elevated American fare that feels special yet approachable, and we'd happily return just for the meals. That said, a few aspects fell short and left us feeling the overall experience wasn't quite as seamless as the food deserved. First and foremost, the billing transparency issue was disappointing. They add a 3% bank/credit card processing fee to the check (which adds up quickly on a family dinner), but this isn't disclosed on the menu, at the table, or in any obvious way during the ordering process. There's only a small sign posted outside the restaurant. We only noticed it when the bill arrived, and it felt like an afterthought rather than a clear policy. In an era where many restaurants are upfront about surcharges (or absorb them), this lack of disclosure came across as sneaky and detracted from the otherwise positive value perception. The atmosphere was another mixed bag. The space itself is attractive--soft lighting, comfortable seating, and that friendly "upscale brew pub" energy the owners aim for. However, it was noticeably noisy during our evening visit. Conversations required raised voices, especially as the dining room filled up, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the meal fully. OpenTable rates the noise as "moderate," but on our night it tipped louder than that, possibly due to the layout or lack of sufficient sound absorption. A bit more attention to acoustics could make a big difference. Service was mostly attentive and efficient, but the management interaction stood out in a negative way. When we politely mentioned the surprise fee at the end of the meal, the response was an apology that felt scripted and insincere--like it had been delivered many times before without real follow-through or ownership. It didn't leave us feeling heard or valued as guests. On a brighter note, the owners John and Melanie genuinely come across as lovely people. The restaurant has that personal, homegrown touch you can sense even when they're not physically present, and locals speak highly of them. They were absent during our nighttime visit, though, which is understandable for owners juggling a busy operation--but their warmth is missed when the front-of-house team is handling everything solo. In summary, Wexford Public excels where it matters most: the food is consistently excellent and worth the trip on its own. The family-owned charm and diverse menu make it a strong neighborhood choice for special occasions, casual dinners, or even happy hour in the cocktail bar. However, clearer communication about the credit card fee (ideally on the menu or bill upfront), better noise management, and more authentic handling of guest concerns would elevate it from very good to outstanding. We'll likely go back for the cuisine, but with tempered expectations on the finer details. If you're in the Wexford area and prioritize great American plates, it's still a solid recommendation--just check the small print before you pay.

I am not local to the Cranberry area, so this was my first time visiting this restaurant. This location of Patron Mexican Grill is right off of 79 and 228, and they have other locations in the greater Pittsburgh area. Since is is off a more major roadway, it is a little tricky to get into if you have never been before. There is not a direct turn from 228 into the parking lot, you have to turn off slightly before the restaurant. However, is it nothing crazy and is manageable to locate with a GPS. There is a large private parking lot for Patron, and also the multiple businesses nearby. You will not have any issue finding parking that is close to the entrance here! There is a lot of seating, and many different options - booths, low tables, bar seating, and even a patio. This restaurant will have no issues accommodating your party of any size. The place is decorated nicely, and it gives an elevated experience when dining inside. Truly, it feels like you stepped into a restaurant right off the street in Mexico and are under the stars and lights! We arrived around 7:30 on a Friday evening in August, and it was not very busy. A few other groups and couples were dining in on this night, but the majority of the restaurant was empty. Thus, we were seated immediately and served complimentary Chips and Salsa. My mom and sister ordered the Frozen Strawberry Margarita. They both opted for the 12-ounce size. The presentation was great, as they come with a sugar rim, lemon wedge, and lime wedge. I also thought that for the price, they were a great value. Once we had munched on the chips for awhile, we decided to order a Queso Dip to have along with the salsa. The Queso came, and it was pretty good. However, it does not come with chips, just FYI! The chips here are not bottomless, as you have to pay for refills. I was disappointed that we had to pay for more chips, even with ordering a more "premium" dip. Since this is rather unusual for a restaurant of this type, I was quite surprised to learn this. From the time we ordered until the time our entrees came, it was about 15 minutes, so very quick. Each of us got our own entree. My mom ordered the Taco Salad. The idea behind this is better than the actual execution. It comes in almost an extra-large taco shell with a deconstructed salad on top. Since it is in the shell, it was hard to combine and get a full bite out of. Also, the tomato was quite literally just an entire slice. This is one of those dishes that is cute for a picture, but unrealistic otherwise. My sister ordered a A-la-carte Beef Hard Shell Taco with Cheese and Lettuce, a A-la-carte Chicken Enchilada, and a side of Mexican Rice. She enjoyed her meal and did not have any issues. I also thought that for the prices of the a-la-carte items, the portions were pretty good. I ordered one of the Patron Especialidades, Carnitas, which came with pork tips, rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, jalapenos, and tortilla on the side. On the menu, this is marked as a Patron Signature Dish. Typically, I will order Carnitas at a new Mexican restaurant to be able to compare it to others I have had before. Unfortunately, this was just not good. The meat was extremely hard to chew and definitely overcooked. You expect this type of meat to be tender and moist, and this was the exact opposite. I am usually someone who can eat just about anything and enjoy it, but this was not good. I am not sure if it has been sitting for too long, or what the issue was, but I would strongly recommend against ordering this from here. The other aspects of the dish were fine, but considering the meat is the main part of the dish, this gets a thumbs down from me. Overall, I thought this place was expensive when compared to other restaurants with similar menus. On top of that, they seem to nickel and dime here, such as not giving refills on the chips. There were some items that were worth the value, but you need to be careful about what you are ordering. Our experience here was less than average. The food seemed to be hit or miss, as we enjoyed the appetizers and drinks, but 2 out of the 3 entrees we ordered were disappointing. I thought it was slightly expensive, but it seems like the portion sizes are generous. Service as a whole was average, could have been better could have been worse. I am not sure if I would choose to eat here again on my next trip to this area, but I am not completely against giving it another try to see if my visit just happened on an off day.
