Really a 3.5 rating. I didn't think I got a terrible manicure/pedicure but I do like Blooming Nails in Wayne better. I believe the gel manicure was $30 and the gel pedicure was $45. My friend told me about all this extra stuff they do for a gel pedicure so I was excited to book. Unfortunately I didn't get anything additional then scrubbing the heels. I was a little disappointed. For my manicure, the technician shaped my nails nicely. I wish it would have lasted a little longer. It started peeling up from the sides a bit. This salon has taken a SERIOUS hit. Ever since management has shifted, it's clear that the quality in customer service, products and salon equipment has downgraded. Jenny, the old owner, moved back to her home country and her genuinely GOOD staff disappeared shortly after. Sidenote: They no longer use the jelly 'goo' that everyone below so happens to love in the comments below. I've lived in the area for years and was a loyal patron to this establishment but sadly, I had to move on. The new staff just is honestly subpar and cannot shape or polish nails. For 50.00, I couldn't see just handing them my money to only be so disappointed in the end - repeatedly. My friends have all agreed and found nail homes elsewhere. So sad... I've been going to together nails for over two years on a regular basis for pedicures. I'm not sure what's happening with this business but too many new faces and really short service. Help is snarky and are very inconsistent. The women doing manicures get annoyed when you ask them to fix something and aren't friendly. Linda and Amy who were sisters gave the best pedicure service and are no longer there as of last two months. Visited together nails for a pedicure on Saturday and all of the old crew is back. Linda and Amy and the mature Asian woman who had been missing for so long has returned. There is all new pedicure tubs and massage chairs that look and feel fabulous. The water even changes colors, if your into that. There wasn't an empty chair and wait time of 30 minutes for anyone who walked in I'm pleasantly surprised and so happy with service this past visit. I was given a gift certificate for Christmas which was for pedicure and manicure plus a tip written on envelope. Went today for just a pedicure and didn't recognize not one person working. They didn't put anything into foot bath, what happened to the nice smelling foot salts? She did a good job cleaning and cutting but not a long exfoliate or lotion. You don't get a good caluse scrub on heals nor hot wax on heals or hot stone with their pedicures as other places I've been it's all included, here it's extra $10. Ok so give the gift certificate when paying and being I don't get manicures a lot of extra money on card and had tip included. No I had to use my debit card for minimum $10 to get tip money. So don't ever include extra in gift card for any service because it won't work that way. read more

Their pedicures are THE best. They use amazing products such as the jelly that you can squish your feet in. And they really get in there and do a great pedicure job. I hear their gel manicures don't last long but I've never gotten gel manicures from here. I can speak for manicures though. They do a clean, thorough job. Paraffin wax is usually extra when you go to other nail salons but they include this in your manicure services. It's such a warm, soothing sensation. I absolutely love how it moisturizes your hands thoroughly - especially in the winter. They often have $5 off coupons for pedicures which is a nice perk and holiday specials. It could be that I'm Korean so they can speak the language but they've always treated me kindly. read more

I have been going here a couple of times for gel manicure and I really love it. They always take me as a walk in since I go during my work lunch hour. They are quick and have many color options and brands. It costs $25 which is pretty standard. My favorite part is the candle-wax option at the end which leaves your hands so soft and silky. Also, they always give me a 5-10 free shoulder massage which is always relaxing. They also do hair removal waxing and take their time and do not rush you out of there. read more

I'm not surprised they have a 2.5 rating - HORRIFIC experience for a quick eyebrow touch up!! I had beautiful full eyebrows and asked for her to clean them up. At the end half of my eyebrows are completely gone and they are also extremely uneven! I am beyond embarrassed and she completely ruined them! Was getting a spa pedicure last Sunday. The girl cut my cuticle too short and was bleeding. She then put something on both feet that burn the cut like hell. Ended up with an awful infection. Be careful and that they use sterile equipment. Never going back. read more

This was my first and last time ever getting my nails done here. The lady rolled her eyes at me multiple times because I pointed out that she kept painting on my skin. I've been to other nail salons before and anytime the polish gets anywhere other than my nail, they quickly clean it up. This lady tried to cover up the mess with her hands and hoped I didn't see it, so when I asked her to fix it (3 times!) she got mad. Her and her coworkers started laughing and saying things in Chinese while looking at me (obviously they were talking about me) as if I didn't get what they were doing. If I'm paying for your services, I expect to get quality work. Unless you like messy nails, getting talked about/laughed at in Chinese and a rude staff who's eyes will roll to the back of their brain, I don't suggest this nail salon. read more

I went last week for a pedicure - which was great! ...so I thought "I need a [gel] fill, I'll try it!" I am not impressed. She filed all of my nails the way I asked her not to after my first one. The polish is so thick, I already know it will be a problem when my nails begin to grow. Lastly - what I am most upset about is that she filed down my existing nail so much that she had to basically start from scratch with those (2) nails, then CHARGED me for "fixing broken nails" ...& of course didn't understand what I was saying when I told her that It was her fault, and they weren't broken she just filed them down so much she had to basically start over. Needless to say, I don't think I will be returning. read more

I've given them 3 times now and I've had the same experience every time. Somehow I think it's going to be different each time but it's not. So three strikes and I'm out. Its aweful because they don't acknowledge me with the same kind and warm greeting as everyone else that walks in..this is what I've noticed...and its because I'm Asian too. I'm not Korean, but I'm a person and I should be acknowledged like a person. I have been very kind and sweet to them but today was the last straw. I walked in because they do accept walk-ins and they asked me if I made an appointment and I said no. I proceeded to tell them I can wait of they were busy because I didn't mind waiting and I understands that what happens to walk- ins from time to time. The one worker quickly said pick a color not even telling me that she can take me now. So I picked a color and sat down. She did my manicure very quickly and put on a happy face and asked me about my pregnancy just to make conversation. I talked to her for a little bit and after she put my polish on she proceeded to ask me to pay for both my manicure and pedicure... a pedicure that I did not receive yet. Everyone that I've seen has paid at the end after their service..when services are completed. Every time I've been there I've been asked to pay after I get my nails cleaned before my polish is put on but no one else is asked to do the same even if they have gotten the same services done. Then I was asked to go sit over by the pedicure section after I paid the full service that I did not even receive yet I told them I did not mind waiting since I see that they are busy. More people showed up and the other lady begrudgingly came to me without talking and begin to grab my feet with her nails digging into my foot and buffed my toenails. She did not talk to me about what she was doing or anything..did not even making eye contact with me. The worker doing my pedicure didn't look at me or talk and just grabs my legs and did whatever she needed to do to get the job done. She didn't even look at me once no eye contact with me at all. When I left to give her a tip and said thank you she didn't even lift her head up off the table to say goodbye she made a stupid sound underneath her breath like yeah you can leave the money there. I mean I don't expect to be treated like a princess but if I'm going to say goodbye and thank you you can at least look up and say goodbye to me. I was really surprised at the type of response I got. That is the last time I'll be going to together nails because they don't appreciate my business and they are just rude. read more

I always give this place a shot and it ends up being a disappointment. They are usually busy and are rushing to get you out of there. Today was the last straw. Besides the fact that I was being rushed, I witnessed the manicurists embarrass a customer. First she took other walk ins before her and then she began to shout at her in front of everyone over wanting to also do a pedicure after her manicure. I was disgusted by how rude the staff was and felt uncomfortable being there. After seeing such unprofessional treatment and after being so uncomfortable I wouldn't return. Unbelievable. I was here yesterday and had a man start to do my nails. First thing he spills water all over me. No big deal. Then he starts filing my nails and he's being very rough and starts cutting my skin. Then he takes the cuticle cutter and starts cutting away dead skin. He digs so hard into my finger and I said, "Ouch!" He said he was sorry and then I start to bleed badly. He starts dipping acetone and putting it in my open wound.... and then puts oil in my open wound. He not only made me bleed and cut four of my fingers, he also contaminated some of his tools. And today I have cut up fingers that are throbbing and bloody, and no manicure. Thanks a lot. read more

I have been going to this salon for 3 years after trying every other salon in Wayne. They are absolutely the best, most professional salon in the business. I cannot understand any of the negative reviews. At least five of my friends also use this salon. The staff is warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. The give excellent service at a competitive price. They also give you extras such as a back massage and paraffin wax treatment, all included in the price.
