As we were leaving one of those showrooms, I noticed Exquisite, across Central Ave. and made a bee-line for the store. Domenick greeted us and gave us time to look around. While his showroom is small, the selection is great! All high-quality products, most of which aren't much more (cost-wise) than the run-of-the-mill stuff you find at a big-box store. The biggest difference is in the level of customer service that Domenick provides. He walked me through every step of the decision-making & ordering process. He advised me on how long some of my tile choices would take, to be in stock. And when the tile was available, he hand-delivered to my Queens apartment. There is more than enough stress involved, in renovating your home. Domenick provided us with calm & efficient assistance, truly making our experience EASY and enjoyable. Our contractor erroneously advised us to purchase approximately 15 more box of tiles which we then purchased but soon realized that we only needed 3 more boxes. We had contacted Exquisite Tile and they accepted the return of the unused boxes. Should we have returned the boxes, we were notified to receive some sort of remittance but we have not received anything. Three months later, we have not received any remittance for the boxes that we had returned. Three weeks ago, we were promised to receive some compensation for the returned tiles but as of today we have not received any nor have we received any communication.

I knew what we wanted in terms of countertop material and color when we shopped around. But with my…read morebusy work schedule, hubs had more flexibility to take the lead and visit these guys in person. We set our sights on a new and sleek kitchen counter 'do from these guys. Plus we had gotten subway tiles (another company) around the same time back in the Spring of '18 to pull the kitchen together for a finished and modern look. Yonkers Cabinets came highly recommended by our initial kitchen tile guy- so we knew we were getting top-notch here. Before anything, these guys did a fantastic job at ripping off the outdated countertops back then- in order to start with a blank canvas. End result was crisp and chic and to this day, the edges between our subway tiles and our countertop are perfectly sealed and that's thanks to these folks and the kitchen tile guy for working together. I keep a glass olive oil bottle with a spout for easy access on my counter. However, I accidentally lost grip of that heavy aS$ olive oil bottle causing it to break- and much worse....chip my new countertop. The chip isn't big at all- actually it's the size of a crumb....small- right? But I get real OCD. And that damn chip has been bothering me ever since- just because I can see it. We paid quite a bit for our solid, slate greyish kitchen quartz counters and the last thing I wanted to do was a do-it-yourself job. I stopped in one morning back in October and my guy Winter was super chill and helpful. All he did was look for our info from his end: address, phone number, color and type of countertop we had gotten- plus he wanted an image of the chip- which I didn't have with me. Winter was able to transfer our contact info to one of Yonkers Cabinets' contractors to come to our house. After all was said and done, our tiny chip repair was more than I expected to pay- but it's so worth it.

The cabinets we selected -- Green Forest in the Smoked Cashew finish -- came out beautifully. The quality is excellent and everything arrived in great condition with no issues. Ray also connected us with the contractor who ultimately completed the renovation, which ended up being a great partnership for the project.
