Prospective and current Patients - It's long review, but please read this before considering visiting this location. It is the first time I left my review in Google because I have to let people know what's real face of this location.
Please be aware of below and consider NOT visiting this location because they talk behind patient back and ran us down! I feel humiliated.
I have had regular dental checkup at this location for recent few years so far. (which means I'm long-term customer for them). My appt was scheduled in this Jul, but they called few hours before 4pm on 3/20 Mon that the slot was available. Then I visited them on that day as they wanted. Kim S. (hygienist) required me to take 360 degree panorama photo as well as few other things. Since I was not too sure if my insurance cover panorama, I gently asked if it's possible to confirm with my insurance before taking those. Then, also mentioned nicely that if it takes time to confirm with insurance, I'm totally fine to return another day because my original appt is in Jul (4months later). However, she told she could confirm now. While waiting for front desk contact my insurance (about 10min), she and I had small talk about weather, hobby, vacation etc and I told her "As patient perspective, please understand I wanted to confirm with insurance first before taking extra ones because longtime ago when medical checkup, I thought my insurance covered and took some extra exam, but they didn't cover and I had to pay serval hundred dollars unexpectedly few months later. She answered that she understood and agreed, then finally she confirmed that insurance covered the additional exams and I took. I felt that she treated me as I was not customer who gave them much profit and have enough money to afford to whatever they asked, but I was OK because the purpose of that visit was for simple dental hygiene in every 4-6months. (My teeth have no dental issue)
3days later, Thursday 3/23, I realized Kim (Hygienist) and Danica (office manager) talked behind patient back! They sent me dismissal of patient relationship. I'm totally fine because there are too many good Dental office everywhere and I have good dental insurance. Only My concerns and the reason of writing this review are -
First, even though I was their long-term customer, they have been talking behind their customer and humiliating.
Second, Kim told a lie to her office. I've never argued with anyone in their office at all because of no reason to argue. If insurance doesn't covered any extra one, Simply I would not take and walk away or revisit when insurance confirm. As mentioned, my original appointment was 4 months later. No one argue with smile, gentle, and low toned voice. Customer asked her nicely to confirm with insurance before they try to charge any extra one.
Third, it's patient right to know if their fee (for not that normal activity in every 6months) is covered by insurance before taking.
I would tell each prospective and current customer that "Please walk away from them unless you are OK to be treated by two-faced" Once they think you are not rich and obedient customer, they will send dismissal of patient relationship with falsehood.
Also I would tell them "No dental office can exist without its patients/customers. Even one of your employee told falsehood or talked behind customer back , each one in your office should be representative of you office. Which means customer do not remember the employee's name but do Today's Dental - Elkhorn is awful location with bad service.
I will tell all my family members, neighbors, and collogues who have been visited there do not visit again to avoid being next victims of them and source of their gossip.
Even they never showed me any x-ray or panorama of my teeth I paid for them. After they sent dismissal of patient relationship, I asked them to send back my patient record with panorama and serval x-rays, but so far they have not sent back anything.
Please aware of above before considering visiting them. Thanks. read more
