What I mean by this is that they make sure your child feels comfortable, work with them when they feel scared to build their comfort level, and make sure your that if your child is scared they ease into everything. They have never made us feel like they were doing extra or unnecessary work, walk you through everything, and explain things throughly. The office main lobby is beautiful and clean with all things kids love. The back office is even more fun. A tv for kids to watch a how with multiple choices at each station, a fun train at the ceiling that goes around the entire office, and fun prizes for the kids after each visit along with the usual toothbrush and toothpaste. This office really cares about your children's well being and the staff is so friendly. We really appreciate and love smile station!

To start, the lovely lady at reception was welcoming, kind and the perfect introduction to the office! The office itself has lots of games, video games and toys in the waiting area to keep kids of all ages entertained while they wait, as well as TVs with movies and shows for kids going. When we went back, right when our appointment was scheduled to start, our hygienist, who I think was named Abbie (so sorry if I got the wrong name!) was so nice and put my toddler at ease so quickly! I was nervous that her first appointment would be rough because it's a new experience and she can be very shy with people, but Abbie engaged her so well! Our dentist, Dr. Amanda was also amazing with her! She explained options for tooth paste and gave good advice about when/how to change it up as my daughter grows. I'm so very thrilled we will be bringing my daughter here! As someone who grew up with very stressful dental experiences, it's such a weight off my shoulders to know that my daughter has Smile Station!

The questions they asked were all about my past dental experiences and actually about my anxieties about going to the dentist. The only thing was I think i read the review on the other location having massage chairs and tv screens on the ceilings. Maybe the other chairs may have this but the one i was put in twice didn't. Anyways It was easy and I was surprised how fast I was able to get in as a new client for my dental pain and was then able to Schedule my cleaning a week after (that might have been luck though). Anyways the minute I ran in the front desk ladies were so warm, friendly and bright and even offered a koozy right off the bat. I actually have been to previous offices where I've actually switched providers just bc the front desk/ancillary staff were the absolute worst but not here! The dental hygienist here not only as friendly but understanding and so knowledgeable compared to other places! They are also on top of their covid precautions too! After 26 years as a patient, I was shocked by how this office handled my situation…read more Dr. Hoover has always been kind, but the front office and billing were aggressive, inconsistent, and extremely difficult to deal with. I was told a procedure would be covered and that it would be verified in advance. It was not, due to insurance frequency limits. I was later told I owed around $360, which was very disturbing because I would have paid it immediately if that had been accurate. After reviewing my insurance records in detail, I found the actual disputed amount was only $90 -- a major difference that was never clearly explained. In trying to resolve this, I was told a courtesy adjustment was applied, but it was applied to a different tooth than the one in question (#10 vs #11). There also appeared to be a resubmission of the same work under a different code, which contributed to the insurance denial and confusion over what was actually owed. When I attempted to clarify this, including speaking with the doctor's wife, the interaction became confrontational. When I pointed out that the courtesy had been applied to the wrong tooth and that the claim had already been paid under another entry, I was challenged in an aggressive tone and asked how I knew that. My response was simply that these are my insurance records and my teeth, and I had reviewed the documentation carefully. I was also given conflicting information about a required $50 deposit, which added to the confusion and lack of trust in how the billing was being handled. After raising these concerns, I was dismissed from the practice. After 26 years, I was treated like a problem instead of a patient.
