The only thing we were disappointed with was my husband works nights and forgot to go to his appointment one morning after getting off of work and they charged him a pretty steep fee for missing it. He said he didn't get a reminder call. I know that stinks when you have a no show, but we've been going there for years...I felt like that wasn't very nice. They could have waived that for him, or just not charge people fee's like that!

Bait and Switch Disaster. No insurance…read more Over the phone they give one price, $209 for the evaluation. I did NOT get a proper evaluation. The dentist only looked at the tooth I mentioned. OK fine, I need a filling replaced. As I already told them over the phone. Then they have a financial person come in. She hands me a bill that says $407. Asks me to sign and confirm that the new price is ok. I sign. The procedure goes OK, except the dentist talks constantly about how she hates the Bellevue office and only wants to be in Papillion. Front desk time. Same Financial person now says the bill is $697. Truly horrible experience.

I asked for a copy of my financial policy I signed in November of 2010 and it states the they would APPRECIATE 24 hours and will charge 40.00 for MISSED appointments. Well, I work in a medical office and a cancel is NOT the same as a missed appointment. Bridget the "office manager" told me I need to look up the definition of missed and cancel and hung up on me. Well here we are 4 months later and I am still getting a bill for that 40.00 so I tried to call and talk to Bridget and she just talked over me and was very condescending and she actually ended up hanging up on me. Review of Dr. Peter Straub - Summit Dental (Omaha, NE) I had…read moremultiple negative experiences with Dr. Peter Straub. From the beginning, he was extremely rude and dismissive, both toward me and even his staff. During treatment, he forced me into extractions that weren't necessary, telling me that if I didn't agree, he wouldn't work on the crown I actually needed. He was very controlling, frequently jerked my head around during appointments, and overall showed no compassion or professionalism. At one visit, I asked if I could go without numbing medication since I only needed to switch out a crown. Instead of respecting that request, he seemed to go out of his way to be as rough as possible, leaving me in severe pain. He even drilled on a tooth that didn't need treatment and damaged it so badly I had to see another dentist to fix the problem. When I spoke up for myself, instead of addressing my concerns, he became angry and retaliated by sending me a letter withdrawing services, not just from him, but from all Summit Dental locations in Omaha. Simply because I questioned his behavior. To make matters worse, he messed up another tooth, refused to provide pain relief, and I ended up in the ER for help. I've since learned from other reviews that I am not alone, others have reported similarly harmful and unprofessional treatment, including one shocking case where he allegedly called CPS on a patient without reason. In my opinion, his behavior is unprofessional and unethical.

The hygienists I have are professional to the core and I can actually relax in the chair a bit because I know I won't have pain.
