Tried this nice cafe on a Saturday morning and ordered a latte and sandwich for dine in with a friend. Even though there was a line in front of us, the wait time was not long, the staff member in the front greeted us warmly as she took our orders. The wait time for both our drinks and sandwiches were roughly about 5-10 minutes which is very fast in my opinion and the servers who brought them out to us were kind and accommodating. There were a lot of seating available both inside and outside, depending on your preference. I ordered the BLT sandwich and really enjoyed every bit of it! The sandwich was just the right amount of crisp with the bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado inside to balance the entirety of the sandwich well. The latte was well made, a good blend of coffee and sweetness to pair well with the sandwich. We even ordered a chocolate chip cookie which was really yummy ~ the gooeyness of the chocolate inside melted well with the crisp outside.
I had a relatively good experience at this cafe in Montrose. Walking-in, I liked the cozy vibe the cafe offered. A great place to sit and chat with a friend. For drinks, I ordered the Iced Rosewater Latte and it was great! I had to order it because this cafe was heavily influenced by Armenian elements. The espresso in the latte tasted great and mixed well with the rosewater infused milk. I'm not usually a fan of floral tasting things, but this was tasty! It wasn't too strong and it was not too sweet and refreshing. For food, my friend and I shared the biscoff dessert toast and it was disappointing. For around $11, it was just 3 pieces of toast with some biscoff butter, crumbled biscoff cookies, and sliced bananas. This is something a kid can make at home, so it was really overpriced for what it was. The dessert toast itself was meh, it just didn't give a restaurant/cafe quality. Would not recommend unfortunately. Overall, a good experience despite the toast. I would come back just for the drinks and maybe the other food items.
I give toasted 5 star review because the second I walked in I noticed how clean and put together the place is. The derive was amazing , everyone seemed to be happy to work there , after you order they bring the drinks and food to the table . The coffee was 10/10 TRY THE ORANGE BLOSSOM and thank me later . The food was very good as well , they have different verity to choose from. Definitely will be coming back again !!
**Rating the experience with a young child** Finally made it to Toasted! I showed my 6 year old this spot on Yelp and he had his heart set on trying the Tutti Frutti toast, so we decided to give it a shot! It does get quite crowded on a weekend, and I think they are walk-in only. You order at the counter and you find a spot to sit, which is always a bit stressful on a weekend. There were lots of spots in the sun, or tables that were on a slant, however we got super lucky and got seating on the shade. I would suggest that the restaurant should invest maybe in a couple more outdoor umbrellas though. I must say, the Tutti Frutti was MUCH better than I expected! I'm definitely glad that we got the scoops of ice cream to go with it, it just added to the fun! My son LOVED this. He said he would give this place a MILLION stars if he could :D I made him some "super" bites on a spoon where I created a concoction using all the bits that it came with (marshmallow, the toast, the Frutti pebbles, ice cream, strawberry) as he took it all in one bite. He was so mesmerized with what was going on in his palate that he just leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes, and couldn't move lol! It's definitely large and filling, so I would suggest sharing. There are so many more items that I want to try. Will definitely come back for more!
We stumbled upon this place when we were walking around the area. There is plenty of free public parking around. No need to pay for the meters. The lots are 3 hours and the metered parking has a 2 hour limit. Cute little area to wander around too. We ordered the turkey pesto sandwich, large fries, and the simply egg plate. Their bread is so good! Drinks: black iced tea and a sugar free vanilla latte. Everything was delicious! The turkey pesto sandwich was so big I had enough for dinner! They were pretty busy on a Saturday around 11:30am but we found a table inside right when we ordering. They are so incredibly friendly. There is a coded-door restroom for customers as well. They have a self serve water station with your regular hot sauces to grab if you want. We will definitely be going back - Especially, to try the coffee flight!
DELICIOUS!! The pasteries taste home made and so yummy. you really get a taste of armenia considering they are a family operated cafe from artsakh. coffee was so good. customer service was amazing they are so sweet and kind. definitely will be back to try the lunch options!! coffee is way better than coffee bean and starbucks near by.
Came here on a sunny Saturday afternoon with my boyfriend for a quick sit down lunch. There was little to no wait time as it's set up to order, pay, and then sit at a table and wait for our order. We sat at the tables along Honolulu Ave and we people watched in the quiet morning. We ordered lattes and sandwiches. My boyfriend got the caramel latte and after trying a sip of it, I enjoyed it more than my white chocolate mocha latte. Its like I got more coffee flavor with the caramel so that'll be my next order for sure. The white chocolate mocha was good too, but it was a little too sweet for me and almost tasted candylike. I still enjoyed it though. We also got the ham, egg, and cheese sandwiches, but we both substituted the ham for bacon and the sandwich bread for croissant. We were pleasantly surprised at the flakiness of the croissant, the choice of the boiled egg, and the red onions complimenting the whole sandwich. All in all, a really good place to come and eat at.
I was excited to come to this cafe as it seemed to have great reviews and the food looked delicious. Unfortunately that was not my experience. I think the service was fine and the ambiance was enjoyable but other than that everything was mediocre. My friend ordered a biscof dessert and when they brought it out we realized it was really dry toast bread with a little drizzle of biscof and banana on the side. It was more so that it was lacking in flavor and it was very dry. I got the turkey pesto which came out 20 min later than my friend's food. Again it was nothing I would go back for. It seemed as though they were lacking in employees because they were very busy but everyone was waiting for their food.
I found this place on Yelp and did not disappoint. They have different selection of drinks, desserts, and sandwiches. I ordered two toast desserts and Flight Board which was so good. Flight Board has four drinks which you select. You can select coffee or drinks. I chose lavender , orange blossom, matcha, and rose water which were good. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside since it was really cozy and nice decorations. Lady who took my order was nice and friendly. She was patient and explained the flight board drinks. It took about 10 minutes to get our order which is not a problem. P.S they ask the diners to and throw away the trash and not leave it. So not sure what's the point of tipping. There is a sign on the wall.
I've visited toasted several times in the last couple of years to hang out with family/friends, get coffee, or to study and I continue to come back for their friendly staff, delicious food/coffee, and good vibes! Last time I stayed to study and ordered the Classic Sandwich which was delicious like everything else on the menu. I also ordered a vanilla latte which is always good. I will be back soon!

Located on bustling Honolulu Ave, Toasted is a charming coffee and dessert shop, ideal for unwinding after browsing the nearby small shops or discovering a good read at the local bookstore. With valentine decorations scattered around for February and items from Stumptown Coffee Roasters available for sale, it's a welcoming atmosphere. Closing at 4pm, the kitchen shuts down about a half hour earlier so I opted for a Roseade and chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was soft with an abundance of chocolate chips. The Roseade, a mix of rose water and lemonade, was refreshingly sweet and light. Overall, I can't wait to return to try the toast and another unique beverage!

The classic sandwich is SO good! My boyfriend and I frequent toasted! Literally... we come almost every weekend. The baristas are so sweet and enthusiastic! The drinks are always very yummy (I always get the iced matcha latte) and the sandwiches *chefs kiss* delish! I've had the zaatar sandwich with added turkey, the classic, and the breakfast pastrami. Of the 3, the classic is my favorite because of the yummy/fresh lettuce and tomato with the perfect ratio of cheese, meat, bread, and mayo. Their bread is also so wonderful; light and fluffy with a crisp crust. It's the perfect sandwich bread! My boyfriend loves the breakfast pastrami, and I can totally see why. The hard boiled egg gives a kind of creaminess to go with the salty pastrami, and ofc a hit with all thousand island dressing lovers. Such a cute spot, love coming here, and definitely will be back! read more

I came here on a Saturday around noon and it wasn't too busy that you wouldn't be able to find a table. You can sit by the window for some nice vibes and pics. I feel like brick toast is one of those things that's great to try once; it doesn't pull you in any further. The toast was tasty, but the ice cream and toppings dominate in flavor. The ice cream was pretty average (like got it at the grocery store vibes). The cashier was very nice and reminded me how large the toasts are. Petite size is good for one person. 1 toast is good for 1-2 people. 2 toast is good for 3-4 people. You can only order toasts for dine-in which makes sense because of the ice cream. While I don't feel that I waited long, I think it may be different if you are ordering their sandwiches to-go. I saw someone dip out before the order was ready (presumably) and a staff member ran out to give his order. read more

As tasty as it is pretty. Stopped in for eats while at the farmers market. They were pretty busy but a seat cleared in time for me to enjoy my lunch. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk that was perfectly made. Not syrupy, not bitter...smooth and hot but manageable enough to enjoy immediately. Strawberry Turkey is worth the hype. I didn't catch from the pictures that the turkey is deli slices. But the bread is so fresh and the flavor combo so on point that I can't even hate in the deli meat. I felt guilty about the solo yum nyoshing and had to order a few more sandwiches for the fam at home. Will report back. Strawberry Turkey - 2 out of three say thumbs up. Lavender Tea Latte with Almond Milk ... I'm starting off with my highly recommend drink to get. I'm not a coffee drinker and was debating which tea latte I should get, and the lavender tea latte caught my eyes. I've had lavender mixed latte drinks but never a lavender tea by itself. If you love the floral taste, this is going to make you happy and satisfied. I'm glad I got the 16 Oz too but now I wish they had a larger size because in could've drank another 16 Oz of that haha the baristas were so sweet! Love great service with a smile I only popped in for a drink and didn't stay in the cafe but there were tables to work at. During rush time, it might feel a bit crowded and loud though. I didn't grab any of the food items but if they're as good as the drink was, I'll have to come back and check it out. read more

Interesting dessert shop/cafe concept in Melrose. I went by myself and as someone withOUT a sweet tooth the concept was mostly lost on me. This experience would have been much better with my girlfriend as she would have eaten most of the sweeter toasts leaving me a bite or two which is all I would have needed. Looking at the sweeter toasts, they had caramel, whipped cream, AND ice cream on it. Like obesity epidemic, hello??? But I definitely didn't want to fall asleep at work after eating a 2,000 calories giant slice of dessert toast so I went for a chicken pesto sandwich. The sandwich and the coffee both were alright. Nothing too inspiring or remarkable. I remember the arugula grating on my teeth in a very annoying gritty fashion as arugula tends to do. But besides that standard chicken pesto. it's been a while but I visit from time to time and happy to see people hanging out with their friends, family and dogs outside. I've been saving these photos but forgot to post I guess. I most recently had a rosewater latte and tahini Dates Cacao Nibs toast because I wanted a less sweet toast and it was so comforting and delicious in a more wholesome and less sugary way. I really needed it because I had not slept all of the night before due to a problem on an urgent deadline....so this was definitely my comfort food after a tough day. read more

I decided to break from routine on 12/14/22 and visit toasted-which is a half block up from Wells Fargo and Trader Joe's. It is relatively new, and I had read good things about it. I am glad I went in at breakfast time, as the menu wasn't as extensive as I expected ( I did not check their website, where it is posted). I was greeted and allowed time to decide. toasted has a compact and uncluttered eating area. It was intensely quiet, but only one table was available inside. ( more on that in a moment) I ordered the egg, and cheese sandwich, and asked if bacon could be substituted for the ham. It could not, I was told, as the bacon was for the toast. Not quite understanding that logic, I intended to skip the meat when the cashier/server suggested turkey or pastrami as a substitute. I happily chose the turkey, with an Arnold Palmer. (Self serve water is available at no charge.) I took a seat and my sandwich came out promptly. As you see, the bread was gorgeous. I guess the egg, cheese and bread were warmed, but the turkey was chilled. I am not complaining: I was surprised ( and I am don't do well with surprises). I was going to ask the server (out of curiosity mostly). She had gone to the back and I did not see her again. The Arnold Palmer was mixed just right. Mt sandwich was delicious, and the chilled turkey combined with the warmed egg/cheese and bread made for a flavorful snack. I did not see the Kettle Chips ( until I checked the online menu after) and I recommend adding them as the sandwich alone did not fill me up and I left hungry. I mentioned I had but one choice of table in a dead quiet space. All the other tables were occupied by MacBook writing types. I've spent many an hour or two hunkered down in cafes fingers flying across my Apple keyboard. The difference is I 'rent' my spot by ordering food and buying refills of iced tea. I leave a good tip as a thank you to the staff. No, I did not go to each table searching for coffee cups and crumbs. It was just a bit uncomfortable to me to see a cafe as study center. The roomy Montrose library is across from Trader Joe's. What happens when the lunch customers stroll in and there are no tables? It was too chilly to sit outside. I'll let the good people who manage toasted decide if I'm giving a constructive heads up or just a grumpy scribe. I recommend toasted as a great option for a light healthy meal with a friend. read more
Adorable spot nestled in Montrose. I got a vanilla latte that was recommended by the barista since she said they make their vanilla from fresh vanilla bean. It was good but slightly sweeter than I like. The interior is beautiful! I wish I could have ordered toast, but those are only available when you dine in. 8/14/22. If you're a coffee lover you must check out toasted. I found toasted via an IG ad and I am so glad it was recommended to me. I came here specifically for the classic coffee flight. Honestly it's such a perfect idea to taste all of their coffees. They were all super delicious but my favorites were the vanilla latte and surprisingly the mocha as I am not a mocha fan. I tried their turkey pesto sandwich which was a good sandwich but honestly nothing special. I def need to come back and try their strawberry turkey sandwich that everyone is raving about. My cousin also ordered their Nutella and banana toast which was a total 10/10 and a MUST try. read more

Delicious desert! I was in the area looking for a place for coffee and dessert and found this hidden gem. Chocoholic was delicious, not too sweet but enough to satisfy my craving for a sweet treat. Cinnamon toast with cookies, chocolate, and ice cream on top. The coffee complimented it nicely. read more

I'm eating here as we speak. The service is great. Very friendly staff. However, I have a cautionary tale for anyone who is gluten free. While they do offer gluten free bread for sandwiches, be forewarned that your entire sandwich will be the size of half of a normal sandwich. To add insult to injury, you will pay an extra $2 for this. I'm not even a big eater, but my sandwich was petite. I ordered the caprese breakfast sandwich with turned out to have boiled eggs. I thought they would be scrambled. Maybe that was my fault, but I'm feeling a bit like I got ripped off. I just spent over $20 for a teeny tiny sandwich and an orange blossom latte. If you're gluten free, don't waste your money here on a meal. The other items look good if you can eat them and be privileged enough to enjoy them at full size. read more

Love this place!!! Located in a cute little area of montrose. The established set up is very pleasant and the staff was all friendly. I absolutely love their rose water and coffee flight - it's just a perfect setup and it compliments the deserts we chose. Everything was delicious! Stopped by for lunch. I had the Turkey pesto sandwich. And my friend had the fig & goat cheese sandwich. The bread was unusual- crispy AND soft and thin. How do they do it? They were good. We also got the rose lemonade which was super weird and we didn't finish it. I wish we had got one of those tower dessert things. We saw someone else get one. Beautiful. Maybe next time. read more
