Tried this place out today. The food was pretty and tasty for the most part. I'm rating it a 3/5 given I think it's overpriced concerning the quality/quantity for certain items. The build your own omelette was $15 to start and $.75 per add in including veggies like onion, etc. I think that is ridiculous. I had to get fruit as a side due to potatoes being cross contaminated and the first set of fruit had brown pineapple and strawberry with mold. The server swapped it out and the 2nd set of fruit also was in poor condition and discolored. You would think a simple check would be done to ensure quality. I didn't eat it and although they did remove it from my bill it was still a concern and made me question the potential quality of the cooked food. I probably would not return give this issue. read more

Finally had the opportunity to check this place out. We had a wonderful breakfast. The food was delicious, no wait time (we came before 8am) and our server was delightful. Quality of food went downhill! Was so good that we longed to go back but was disappointed in the food...pancakes were super sweet, too sweet. The burger was not very good especially for high price and the fries were soggy and cold. The upside is that service was great. read more

Here goes another bad review, for the location that we're in (Temecula) you would think restaurants would pay more attention to the care they put behind the food. Especially one like toast that has lines going out the door. The amount of hairs I've had in my food is absolutely ridiculous. There's no need for shedding humans to be serving/ making food without hair slicked back, hair net anything that prevents it. They need to get reevaluated as a restaurant. Pros: - Great Service, very nice waiters/waitresses - Good Food and drinks and coffee, haven't had a bad meal there once. - Outdoor seating ( clean and spacious without being cramped ) - Food portions are bigger than your average brunch spot, and filling. - PET FRIENDLY! I've been to toast a couple times and I find it to be a reliable spot to take friends or family. There will be something for everyone and we have never had any problems with the meals we've had here. I definitely recommend giving this place a try for brunch with friends or family. A great ambience with great food!! My favorite thing here is definitely the service. The staff is so nice. Every waiter we've had here has been so helpful, welcoming, funny, and kind. You can tell the staff works very well together! The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean. This was my 1st time coming to this place and it did NOT disappoint. The service was really good, they're attentive and work as a team. I had the Horchata Cold Brew, which was really good, not sweet, but well-balanced. Their regular drip coffee was really good too and the presentation was nice. It came with a biscotti that was not super hard, but not soft either. Again, really good. The Chilaquiles Verdes with pork were not spiced, but came with two strips of a hot pepper that added that touch of spice that was appreciated. For those of you that like spicy (like myself) may need to ask for more hot peppers or a side of spicy salsa. The tortillas chips were nice and crispy and not soggy. This place is really cute. Prices have gone up but still decent for a nice brunch. My daughter and I split the snores pancakes and Nashville chicken sandwich. Both were very good and tasty. Wow! I was impressed with this spot in Temecula. It was my first time in the town and my relatives recommended we come here. I got the Roasted, Toasted Grilled Cheese (called something like that on the menu) and added a burger patty to make it a defacto patty melt. DELICIOUS! Outside of the cheese being gooey and patty being cooked perfectly (medium), the bread was amazing. Crunchy, flaky, buttery, all of the above. The fries they served with it were good as well, and the portions were borderline gluttonous. Would absolutely recommend coming here. The rest of my group got the Biscuits and Gravy Dish which looked yummy and it was a ton of food as well. Working our way through the menu. Shrimp and grits are very good and tasty, but a few of the shrimp were slightly over cooked. The biscuits and gravy needed more sausage and gravy. The potatoes and the eggs were soggy with a few shrimp and potatoes undercooked. read more

We went with a group of 14 for a bachelorette party. We made reservations ahead of time and our table was ready right when we arrived . I know large groups like that can be hard to handle but the service was really good. The waitress was super friendly and everything came out pretty quickly and together. Nice brunch spot located in a strip mall. Plenty of parking, fast friendly service and huge delicious portions. Come for the amazing chicken fried chicken and biscuits and gravy. We've been regular customers at Toast for a while, and unfortunately the experience lately has gone downhill. Since the other location burned down about six months ago, it seems like there's been a noticeable change in both the kitchen and consistency. We've now had two visits in a row where the food--specifically the omelettes--has been poorly prepared. Instead of being properly made, all the ingredients were just piled on top, and the eggs themselves were undercooked. We've had to send the same dish back multiple times, which shouldn't be happening at a place we've trusted for years. What made the situation worse was the interaction with staff. When the manager, Rema, came over, she tried to explain the process and apologized, which I appreciated at first. However, when I questioned whether the cook knew how to properly prepare the dish, I was told to "be quiet and mind my own business." That response was surprising and unprofessional, especially while trying to resolve an issue. The situation didn't feel taken seriously. We've always enjoyed coming here, which makes this even more disappointing. I hope management takes a closer look at kitchen consistency and how customer concerns are handled, because right now it's not meeting the standard it used to. read more

Found this place online and decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. It met & exceeded expectations. We shared the chile verde chilaquiles with avocado and the creme brûlée French toast. The chilaquiles were by far some of the best I've had. They were the perfect mixture of light spice & lemony flavor, and the pork was soft and delicious. The creme brûlée French toast was good too but a bit to sweet for my tasting. The server was friendly and service was quick. We sat outside because we had our dog with us - love that they're pet friendly! Will definitely return. read more

Stopped by because I heard about Bingo. Waiter in training (Josh)was extremely friendly and very attentive. He did a great job at checking on me. Honestly he has been one of the best servers I've had in a very long time. I appreciate him. And Thank you Josh. Unfortunately I am not able to join the Bingo. They stated it was full. I'm sure most people made reservations. I walked in and seen plenty of seats and thought other wise. However, I was early and did not make a reservation. But on the other hand there was a handful of judge-mental servers in the place. It's unfortunate! The service is on point. They work as a group ensuring that all costumers are happy . I appreciate everyone asking me if I needed anything else. The strawberry mimosa was good. A perfect amount of strawberry for the champagne. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich. It was great and crispy with a lot of flavor. I didn't care for the slaw or carrots in it. But that's my own preference. But don't get me wrong. It's an amazing sandwich. I'm not knocking it in any way. Toast in Murrieta is one of my favorite brunch spots and Temecula location did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend stopping at either location. Came here around 1130 and it was starting to get busy. Its kinda on the smaller size but they do have a lot of outside seating as well. I love the esthetics inside. With the exposed ac duct. They have breakfast and lunch here. As well as boozy drinks and coffee. Definitely a good brunch place. I ordered their crab eggs Benedict as well as 1 of their strawberry cheesecake pancake. Food and drinks do come out quickly. Free refills on my coffee. The crab cakes were OK. Kinda fishy in smell amd taste. A little too fishy. Eggs cooked to perfection. I do love their potatoes though. Cooked amazingly. The strawberry cheesecake pancake was well balanced. I love the cheesecake bites. The strawberry coolie was nice and thick. Its a little mushy though. Service took some time. Thank goodness for Yelp waitlists! I joined while we were on the way to the restaurant and only had to wait a short time to get seated. Though they're located in a big plaza I can see parking being a challenge during busy times. The restaurant is pretty big and provides indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is super nice and is always checking in on their tables. The food was enjoyable enough for me to do a celebratory dance while eating lol However the coffee just didn't hit. Cute presentation but it was watered down and tasted like straight milk with a whisper of coffee. Overall I would go back if i was ever in the area! read more

It gets packed so come early and parking is strict near the area because it's in a shopping center and well with so many people coming to this place so plan additional time for parking. 2. I always went to the Toast location in Murrieta but decided to go to the Temecula location since my friend lived closer. The food is great as always; came out quickly and tasted good. I will say the tables are quite close together inside, making it hard to converse with anyone. It felt like we had to yell in order to hear each other. As for service, one of the waitresses who got us water was very kind. But the hostess and our other waiter did not seem the happiest. It kind of felt like we were not wanted at all, which threw us both off. Maybe they were having a bad day (which we can understand as it does get busy), but the service we received just made us uncomfortable unfortunately. read more

Established in 2017.

Toast opened in Dec. 2017. As a family, we have seen a need for craft food in our area. After opening a successful restaurant in Old Town Temecula, 1909, we wanted to offer an all day brunch/lunch spot to guests in South Temecula. Our valley is notorious for chain restaurants, but we wanted to offer from scratch food made with love. Our family restaurant is truly a labor of love. From the tables, to the paintings, to the decor, all of it has been done by a family member or employee of one of our restaurants. We care nothing more about involving everyone in our restaurants! The metal chairs used in the seating area created a lot of scraping noise on the concrete floor every time someone moved them, which was distracting and disruptive to the dining experience. I was hesitant to try but had heard good things about it. They were right. It was a little loud, it was a little cramped, but the food and the service were worth it. When you walk in the door, you notice the ivy wall and the high booths. The keg beer wall also catches the eye. The tables are too close together and if the whole place wasn't so loud, you could definitely hear the neighboring tables conversation. That was really the only bad part of our experience there. I was so excited about this new breakfast spot opening. I wanted to love it. I wanted another place to eat when in this town. Boy was I beyond disappointed. It was 10 minutes after we were seated before anyone even acknowledged us. Then, it was another 15 minutes after we ordered our drinks before they finally made it to our table. I had the hash and my friend had something called the radical. When the food arrived it was literally swimming in grease. Such poor quality ingredients. read more

We recently visited Toast Temecula for the first time and absolutely loved it! We're regulars at the Murrieta location, so it was great to support the Temecula spot and see familiar faces while Murrieta is temporarily closed. The food was amazing, and the holiday cocktails were delicious. My husband especially loved the Shot for Tots specialty shot even better knowing the proceeds go to charity. We came here at the recommendation of our friends. We got there about 9:15am or so, on a Saturday, and we could clearly see that people were already waiting to be seated. We were seated inside at a booth. Jolie, our server, was amazing!! She recommended a few delicious dishes and drinks. Had the giant mimosa, and it hit the spot just right. I've been eating them since I was a kid, and it's difficult to find a place that does it well. Penfold's makes a great one, so that's almost always what I order when I'm here. Turkey and ham, plus American and Swiss cheese, which is made into a sandwich that is battered and fried. Traditional toppings are sour cream and jam, preferably raspberry or blackberry. So don't eat this unless you're a savory/sweet combo person! Worth the $1.50 to get the sour cream. I love that they have a sweet potato fry or onion ring upgrade for $1.00. I always choose sweet potato for the Monte Cristo, it's the best option. But I'll have to try the onion rings some time. There are tons of breakfast and lunch options, since they're only open til 2:00 everyday. They are also known for their bakery. Cinnamon or pecan rolls that are the size of a dinner plate! You have to slice them like a loaf of bread, lol. Also available are cookies, croissants, etc. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Staff is friendly and efficient, event when they're busy. My recent visit was at noon on a Wednesday, and I was all done in under 45 minutes! And the restaurant was pretty full, since it's only the one large room. Decor is fun, in the old-timey "why did grandma collect all this stuff?" motif, lol. Comfy booths around the perimeter with tables inside and a counter back left. And parking is fairly easy in the small shopping center, but you may have to park a little ways away if they're particularly busy.
