The Food: 1000/10 The Employees: 100/10 The food is absolutely delicious and I'm coming back again soon like this is so freaking good like I can't imagine how delicious that steak is! The employees are like very nice and polite because I've been waiting in line for like almost like 30 minutes but you know what for all the chef out there, This steak is really amazing, make me another one next time! This place is so fire and amazing! Come and try this place
Sometimes when you are braindead from the work week and from corralling tiny humans, you forget what eating out looks like on the weekend. And oh my gosh, was I ever pleasantly surprised how quickly we got into a brunch spot on a saturday at 10am. I mean, that's almost primetime. The kids were stoked with fun drinks such as unicorn and chocolate milk, and us bigger kids were equally impressed that the standard brew came with a delicious funfetti biscotti. How cool is that? My poke bowl was absolutely delightful, adding options to eat it with or without the rice (so many cucumbers, beautiful radish and daikon slices). Had just enough heat to say hey I'm kinda spicy but will leave your tongue to appreciate your food. My daughter's mac and cheese unfortunately didn't come with any sides which was odd, but we were able to add fruit and eventually some fries when she got jelly of her brother's grub. We were in and out in under an 1:20 which, for a fam of four is pretty amazing for a dine in experience. The bill process is all electronic which makes me so happy. Would def come again!
Well....I've never waited 3 hours for brunch before but we're from out of town so here we are. That being said, it was the busiest weekend of the year (Mother's Day Weekend) so hopefully it's not always like that. Despite being very busy, service was great and the food didn't take too long to come out. Everything we ordered was so flavorful with generous portions, and clean! We all ordered very different dishes and they pulled them all off. Dare I say the 3 hour wait was worth it? We had a great time and it really seems like you can't go wrong with whatever you order (see pics, they taste as good as they look). We got the crab cake Benedict, Korean short rib, breakfast fries and finished it off with the strawberry shortcake pancakes, big yum! My favorite brunch place yet.
My husband and I had VERY different experiences when we came to this location. I'm sad that his experience was not ideal. I can totally understand why he doesn't want to comeback. He ordered the biscuits and gravy meal, and his food was COLD when they brought it out. He told me, so I touched it and informed the waitress. The eggs were cold, cold- like they had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. The hash-browns were cold. Just not good. The waitress apologized and my husband had to wait 15 minutes for them to remake his meal. Meanwhile, I had already scarfed my food. My poor husband had to sit there, watching me eat, while his food was re-made. It came out hot the second time, which is good. My husband said the gravy was not his favorite. He always judges a breakfast place by the gravy. For some reason that is really important to him lol On the other hand, my experience was GREAT. I actually loved my meal! The shrimp ceviche was extremely fresh and I love the presentation. The granola salad was a real surprise! The whipped ricotta was so light and delicious. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and warm mini pancakes. Both of these dishes were a win for me. Ambiance was crowded/. Very busy. We waited an hour just to be seated. The noise level was exceptionally high. It was hard to have a conversation with my husband. This is not the place if you want to have a nice, quiet breakfast/ brunch experience.
Waited at least 30min for a party of 4 on Saturday morning. Good food and generous portion of protein! I was surprised by how much chorizo they gave me with my omelet. Pecorino potatoes were delicious. So much food that I couldn't finish! I was confused by the bathrooms. Didn't realize they had murals painted on the door indicating male or female. I ended up using the male restroom and noticed other ladies who did the same. Bathroom was clean. There's a screen in there that cycles through photos of food options lol Parking fills up quickly. There are signs past the restaurant that say no Toast parking so be aware!
This place had a huge line but the wait was surprisingly short. It was packed inside and we could immediately see why- the food all looked and smelled delicious, it was such a fun vibe, and the service was outstanding. We ordered an omelette and eggs your way, and a little espresso martini (the frozen one) because we were on vacation, and everything was DELECTABLE! Please come open a Toast in my neck of the woods!! Yummmmmn!
Went here last weekend to celebrate my friend's birthday with a group of 8 (plus a toddler!) the day before Mother's Day, so we already expected a wait. We called ahead and were quoted about an hour, but ended up waiting closer to 2 hours after checking in. Honestly though, with the holiday weekend and our big group, we understood. While waiting outside, they had Jenga and Connect 4 set up, which was a nice touch and definitely helped pass the time. The restaurant itself had a lively brunch atmosphere and was clearly packed all morning. Once we got seated, our server Ryan took care of us right away. She got our drinks and food orders in quickly, and honestly the turnaround time for everything was surprisingly fast considering how busy it was. Ryan was super fun, attentive, and really matched the energy of our group. She even brought out a little birthday treat for my friend, which was sweet! My friend and I both ordered the "life size" mimosas -- which isn't shocking because of the glass size, but because it's basically a whole bottle of champagne LOL. Huge shoutout to Ryan for recommending the freshly squeezed orange juice because it balanced everything perfectly and wasn't overly sweet at all. I ordered the Mind Your Own Biscuits & Gravy. Solid, classic brunch dish, and the hash browns had an amazing crunch to them. Overall, pretty standard brunch food, but the great service from Ryan really made the experience enjoyable!
First time here. You can join their waitlist online, and this is recommended as the wait time can get long. We waited around 20-30min for a party of 6 (1 infant included) on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was crowded inside and there was a line of people waiting to be seated. I do think the turn around time for tables to be cleared, etc is pretty fast compared to other restaurants. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small and crowded for how busy they are. The line to use the restroom is also pretty crowded and long during peak times. Our server, Octavio, was really nice despite how busy he was. All staff members are on the go-go since they are trying to be efficient. Didn't feel rushed though. But I do think you shouldn't lounge around here for the sake of others. Just eat, enjoy, and hang out elsewhere. Their prices are fair, portions are pretty big, and drinks are pretty good too (non-alcoholic bevs at least). Food was pretty good too. A typical breakfast/brunch restaurant, but a bit better in taste compared to other similar restaurants nearby.
My experience at Toast was a great one. I made a last-minute reservation for a large party, and the hostess worked with me to secure a reservation close to the time we originally wanted and get us seated in a timely manner. They did seat us separately, which wasn't what we would have preferred; however, we understand that the reservation was made last minute and we were also on a time crunch, so getting seated quickly was a priority. I know it's not easy accommodating a large group, especially on a busy day, and given our time constraints, I was initially nervous about whether we would be seated and served on time. However, the staff was organized, patient, and friendly throughout, and everything ran smoothly. Despite how busy it was, we received our food promptly, and everything came out well-presented and delicious. The chilaquiles were especially flavorful, and the egg omelet and potatoes were also excellent. Our group also ordered the Korean ribs, which were very tasty, and the French toast as well! For drinks, our group wasn't a big fan of the iced coffee, and the mimosa flights were a bit too sweet for my personal preference. I only really enjoyed two out of the four options. That said, they were beautifully presented and very photogenic. One thing we really appreciated was that they accommodated separate checks for such a large group, which made paying much more convenient. The space offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the smaller side, but they still managed to accommodate our group comfortably. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'd definitely consider returning.
Saturday, 6-07-2025: This review is so overdue! This eatery isn't very big but they did have outdoor seating in their spacious side patio. It's a very casual and relaxing ambiance. We had a big group and I was grateful they could accommodate all of us. Of course, I made reservations. This was a nice meet up with our dear family & friends. I do recall we all enjoyed the food and truly appreciated the attentive and absolute care that two servers gave to our large party. We would definitely return. We were impressed with their food and customer service.
I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now and we were finally able to make it in today. No wait time which was great of course even though they were steadily busy. I bet this place gets insanely busy on the weekends, but it looks like there is the option to join via the Yelp waitlist & I love that. Inside is cute, I really like the booths and their design. There is a one stall restroom for everyone to use, but it was kept pretty tidy so that was great to see. Our food was pretty good, I love corned beef so the Reuben Benedict was perfect, one of us got hash browns and the other go the pecorino potatoes. The pecorino potatoes were good, I think they needed salt in my opinion and they would have been perfect. The portion size was pretty big. I am a big eater and I struggled to finish my food. The crème brûlée french toast was good too. I wasn't a huge fan of the custard in the middle though, there was a lot of it and it was just a bit thick in my opinion. The bread and the syrup with the fresh strawberry were delicious though. I'm excited to come back again and try more menu items. Highly recommend this spot for a brunch outing.
Great breakfast spot. We secured our place in line through their online booking system, nice and easy. Arrived around 10:30 am and it was very crowded, but we had our reservation so we only waited 10 minutes. They have indoor and fully covered outdoor seating. Nice shaded benches for these waiting. Parking wasn't hard to find. A lot of families and people with celebrations making this place an energetic atmosphere. The food and drinks were very delicious. My sister had the chilaquilles and I had the fried chicken yum! The biscuits that came with the fried chicken looked home made and we awesome, so we're the potatoes and gravy.
Finally had the chance to enjoy a meal at Toast! I mean, when you drive 65 miles from San Diego to Temecula and hang out with friends... Toast is a great start to your day! Heard plenty of great things from my friends who live up here & the reviews speak for themselves! Without glancing at their menu ahead of time, even when we plopped our butts down once we were seated... my friend and I were lost in the sauce (catching up conversation). Staff was patient with their many attempts to see if we were ready for our order! LOL I was trying to convince myself to just get a water to prepare my body for all the sweat I'd be sweating later in the day... til I looked at their Caffeine menu. Umm- Helloooo! Goodbye the idea of a glass of water! The Cinnamon Maple Toast Latte has entered the chat! *I try to indulge in a coffee drink that isn't typically served. I asked for it iced w/ almond milk and Wowza!! Refreshing and delicious! And to be nit picky- I did snag one Cinnamon Toast Crunch bit from the top. I just needed to see if the cereal was stale. Whew! Thank goodness it wasn't. I know, I know. Ya'll might think- Why would it matter if it's gonna get soggy sitting on top of your latte?! Well- who's to say I was gonna let it get that far?!! *We listen and we don't judge! The Shrimp & Grits was delicious! One of my favorite breakfast dishes (besides country fried steak or corned beef hash!). Sadly I didn't have enough space in my belly to finish it all- and that was my first! Great portion with tons of flavor. When my food was placed in front of me- you can see the nice flavored sear on the plump shrimp. Get your spoon and mix the shrimps and grits together. And you'll notice the sautéed red onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Slivered Bilbao (Spanish) chorizo, hints of paprika, garlic- add some depth along with smoked cheddar cheese. We arrived at 7:30am on a Saturday and I can't remember by the time we left- the inside was packed already. Toast has a nice sized covered outdoor patio. read more

This place is located in a busy outdoor shopping plaza with plenty of free parking. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. If there is a wait, you can go onto Yelp and join their waitlist (love this). We were greeted and seated immediately. There is outdoor covered seating and inside seating (plenty of room for everyone). We ordered the chilaquiles verde (fantastic), the BYO omelette (spinach, mushrooms, asparagus, grilled shrimp and smoked cheddar) which was amazing, the crème brûlée French toast (okay), and an iced charcoal matcha (good). Our service was great! We were checked on very often, she refilled our waters every time she walked by, and our food came out warm and in a quick fashion. read more

First time trying this place since moving out here. I have to say it's probably the worst place I've tried so far . I love food and I hardly ever leave almost a full plate behind but the salsa on these chilaquiles tasted days old and not fresh. I couldn't even eat the meat it had such a bad smell and nothing on my plate tasted fresh. This plate was recommended by the server and said they tasted pretty authentic, I can confirm nothing on this plate tasted authentic. I really did try my best to eat it because I wanted to love it but I just couldn't! Even My son got a burrito and his bell peppers also didn't taste fresh or his salsa. A complete waste of 50 dollars for this experience. The only thing I can say is the servers and hostess have good service other than that I will never waste my money on this place again. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped by Toast in Temecula on a Wednesday morning before wine tasting. It wasn't crowded and we found parking right in the front. We were greeted immediately by the hostess and our server once we sat down. I ordered a cup of coffee and loved the presentation. Usually coffee just comes in a cup with everything else (sugar/ cream) sitting on the table. At Toast, it was served on a plate with a biscuit, creamer, and sugar in a little jar. It was simple but cute. For food, we both got the Eggs Your Way. Mine was with sausage, his with bacon, and toast. Food was okay. They only have berry jelly because it's made in house but it was bland. Also, surprisingly, the potatoes had no seasoning so we added pepper and it was a little better. Sausage was ok but it was a little too oily and the taste was off. I couldn't eat anymore after two bites. Overall, service was good but the food was mediocre. We probably won't be back based on that. read more

My first time visiting Toast in Temecula, recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint! We arrived early and were greeted by the friendly, welcoming staff. My friend and I were a bit chatty since it was our first time there, and our waitress was patient and kind while we figured out what to order. I decided on the Honey Brown Sugar Hot Latte and the Crème Brûlée French Toast--though it was hard to choose because everything on the menu looked amazing! The latte was creamy and delicious. The French toast was a little sweeter than I prefer, but still very enjoyable. I added eggs and bacon on the side, which made for a perfect balance. The restaurant itself is super cute and cozy. We sat inside this time, but I'm looking forward to trying their patio on my next visit. There's so much more I want to try on the menu--I'll definitely be coming back! read more
I called in to make sure that this is a DOG FRIENDLY place and they said yes! So I took my 9 month Samoyed named Coco here for breakfast together... SONG of the DAY to play along to this YELP REVIEW: Here comes the sun by the Beatles... Because we were seated at a cute little table in the patio and here comes the Sun! So we moved to the next table and then, here comes the SUN so we moved to the last table at the end to get away from the SUN!... MIND YOUR BISCUITS with all Egg white scramble: 10/10 was big enough for 2 people to share. OJ and Caramel Latte were all great! SERVICE: EXCELLENT!!!!!!! THEY have a DOG MENU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Toast is the third of my Brunch trifectas from the past week. We drove up to Temecula to visit a friend and luckily, this place caught our eye. What a find! As we walked up there was a lot of outdoor seating and a good amount of indoor seating. While I'm sure that there are lines on the weekends, there was plenty of seating when we arrived. The booths are elevated and you absolutely can feel like royalty while enjoying your meal. There is a not an item on this menu that better describes me than the El Jefe Burger. You see, all of my friends called me Jefe back in high school Spanish class and it has now followed me to this glorious brunch spot. The El Jefe Burger melted in my mouth. IT MELTED I SAID!!!!! It was a burger on a brioche bun with an egg on top and some beef bacon. I mean....what are we doing here guys....this is a must have item on your to-do list. Mine came with a Quinoa Salad that I ordered to try something different. It was definitely different and really good! Our table got a side of Crème Brûlée French toast and that was really good. It was an enormous piece of toast with strawberries, custard, and a crème brûlée carmelized disc of yumminess. If you're in the neighborhood, this is the place to go. Came here for Sunday brunch with my family and was sort of disappointed. Some aspects that were good was that the service was good and the espresso martini was delicious. The staff here really knows how to handle every situation and with grace. Everything else here was just not well prepared. My French toast was overly sugary and was soggy, my dad's crab cake Benedict was pretty small and for the price, could've been a bit more. My mom got very dry and bland pancakes. And in terms of the ambiance here, it was very loud and very crowded. Overall, I'd probably go here once more and see if it's different as I'd like to give it another chance. read more

Mom and I went to Toast on Thursday morning for brunch. We were seated outside after waiting for a few minutes. Mom ordered a latte and I ordered the Nitro Cold Brew. Mom's latte arrived with a heart in the foam & she loved it! There was a slight kerfuffle regarding the milk for my Cold Brew, but it was quickly resolved. I ordered the Veggie Benedict with hash browns and Mom ordered a plain omelette with sourdough toast and fruit. Both of our entrees were great! The Veggie Benedict with asparagus and red peppers was super flavorful and I loved the potato cakes that each Benedict was served upon. Mom's omelette was cooked well and she loved the fruit & toast. As previously mentioned, we sat outside at a large booth and enjoyed ourselves. Although the restaurant was busy, our food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. This a great, casual brunch spot to check out whether you're there to grab a quick meal or you'd like to linger and savor time with friends and family - Toast is a fabulous place to do either. read more

Sooo much food! Came here the morning after a wedding. They were very accommodating despite having a large party (20+ people) divided into three tables. They have a fun menu. Lots of items to choose from. It was nice to see all of the food presented to each person. A lot of the items are hearty and huge! Nice to be able to take quality food home. I definitely recommend the French toast. It was sweet and enough to share with others. Eggs all the way was another alternative that was delicious. Yo, real talk -- that breakfast at Toast was straight-up gas. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with extra crispy hash browns and over-easy eggs, and bruh... that plate was bussin' on god. Like, no skips -- every bite was a certified slapper. The chicken? Himothy. Juicy, crispy, seasoned to perfection. Hash browns? Crispy like my phone screen after a drop, fr fr. Eggs? Soo goated, they were runnin' like they had somewhere to be, and I was here for it. I legit had to sit back and rizz up the waiter with a "yo this is elite, no cap." 10/10, would spin the block for that meal again. Honestly, it was giving main character energy. It is a good idea to get in line through this website, wait times can be long (took us 40 minutes for lunch on a Saturday). Good seating arrangement - indoor and outdoor. This is a busy brunch style cafe. I recommend getting on the waitlist before you arrive, because it gets busy and crowded. It's in a shopping center with very limited parking. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating to accommodate small and large parties. The waiter, Josh, was very kind and helpful. The breakfast fries was a unique twist on a meal that turned out pretty good. The mango shrimp ceviche was fresh but bland. The kids got French toast that they enjoyed. The portion size was decent for the price. This is a good place for a unique experience with brunch. read more

Third time being here, met expectations as always! Great food. Ordered the El Jefe burger and a side of Creme Brûlée French toast. El Jefe burger was tasty, favorite part was the egg. Big bun and patty. Creme Brûlée was excellent, a side of toast was just big enough to fill up after eating the burger. The service was kind and prompt, we were frequently checked on. They also gave ice cream to celebrate our recent grad. Restaurant was clean, good vibes all around. Definitely definitely coming back. read more

Quality of food went downhill! Was so good that we longed to go back but was disappointed in the food...pancakes were super sweet, too sweet. The burger was not very good especially for high price and the fries were soggy and cold. The upside is that service was great. read more

Another delicious find thanks to Yelp! I'm not from Temecula, but if I'd live here... I'd come here a lot. The food and service is top tier. We were seated right away and the staff here is on top of it! Plus they are very friendly and welcoming. Came with my family, group of 4 adults and 1 toddler. I kid you not, it didn't even feel like a whole 5 minutes after ordering and our food already came out. Not only is the service quick here, the quality of food is delicious. My mom and I shared the crab cake benedict with potatoes. I ordered a horchata cold brew. I love how much variety the food and drink menu has. I will have to come back to try the chicken fried chicken (recommended by the sweet hostess). Will definitely be back!! read more

My friend Nahkia recommended, the next time you're in Temecula, make sure to visit Toast. The service was good and timely. It definitely lived up to its reputation. I had the smoked salmon, which was good but could have used more salmon. The pancakes, however, are huge! I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes, and they were pure decadence. Not only were they excellently plated, but the flavor was out of this world--truly food for the gods. The ambiance has a cool cafeteria vibe with some neat raised booths. I ordered the nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The savory fried chicken was nicely balanced by the pickled veggies and creamy sauce. Thought it was a very unique take on this popular sandwich. Outdoor patio was dog friendly with a nice ambiance and service was so quick (our food literally came out within minutes). This place is really busy and quite noisy. Get on the wait list while you can. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long once we were seated. The food was quite flavorful and reasonably priced. Tried the breakfast fries and they were well made. The flavor combination was delicious. Wifey got the crab cake Benedict and she ate all of it so I know she liked it. I wanted to try the spicy bloody Mary so I did. They really do spice that bad boy up. It was hot and delicious. Working our way through the menu. Shrimp and grits are very good and tasty, but a few of the shrimp were slightly over cooked. The biscuits and gravy needed more sausage and gravy. The potatoes and the eggs were soggy with a few shrimp and potatoes undercooked. read more

Found this place was spending the weekend in Temecula. The reviews are high but it didn't live up to the hype. I ordered the mimosa flight, creme brulee French toast, eggs, hash browns, and bacon. The French toast was an ultimate fail. The creme brulee was similar to a bland pudding that resembled soft scrambled eggs. The rest of the breakfast was a ordinary breakfast. The mimosa flight tasted like four different flutes of champagne with a splash of juice, a waste of money. My fiancé enjoyed his strawberry cheesecake pancake. The menu is limited. Customer service was also lacking. We had to hunt down our waitress and if not even big inside nor was it crowded it for a Saturday afternoon. Thanks but no thanks. read more

This is the first time here. It is a small but quaint restaurant. We went on a Saturday so it was pretty loud and busy. I ordered a regular Eggs Benedict that was not on the menu but when my plate was ready, they prepared the wrong order. Everyone else got their order and it was right. My daughter ordered the French Toast Crème Brûlée. My other daughter ordered the Apple Pie French Toast They both enjoyed their breakfast and the enjoyed the flavors. When my order finally came, the eggs Benedict tasted really good. I loved the hollandaise sauce. Unfortunately, my potatoes were soggy, warm ( not hot the way i prefer) and not crispy at all. I was dissatisfied with the timeliness of the food that I ordered and my potatoes. Since my daughter's liked their meal, I would try something else next time. I liked the vibe of the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. read more

If you look at the key on our menu, it will tell you which items are vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc.
How bad is the wait for 6?
It can be 20-30 even during the week it's the breakfast spot to go to. I see a lot of customers are not in a hurry to get up and leave either.
