So disappointed! Number one talk to your customers. They use the Dremel to remove the previous gel polish, and ground all the way through the nail. Toes are so sore I can't hardly wear shoes. They have the best pricing around and they don't pressure you to buy "upgrades" or additional services if you aren't interested. Had such a great time here with my sisters. I took them out for a girls day and we all had a fun experience. My littlest sister got a child's mani/pedi. She loved. Myself and my teenage sister got mail extensions. Now I typically don't like to get tips because I feel like they are always way to thick and heavy. However Ivy did a wonderful job and they felt very natural. I do not know the name of the girl who did my sisters nails, but they think they did a great job as well. TN Nails have always been great to work with. The staff is very friendly and make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. My nails always turn out to be exactly what I am looking for. I'm have never had a nail from them break or pop-off. I did have paint peel a day after I got them done and I went in, they fixed it right then and there and didn't even charge me. They were very apologetic and made sure to ask what artist did them in the first place so they can address the issue with them and make sure it does not happen again. I have been to this place (Now Ivy Nails) a few times . I went in last night to get my gel removed and repainted as non gel French manicure . Apparently, they do not do this often and the employee had a hard time doing a French manicure if it wasn't gel. She first painted the white with a tiny brush . Then another employee yelled at her bc she was doing it wrong . Then she took off all the paint and started over. She then proceeded to paint the white and pink clear over the white . It was a mess . So she had to take off the clear pink again . They were closing so she hurried up and rushed through and I left. I guess if you're not getting gel, French manicure is not possible . Okay, I really wanted to like this place considering the fact that they were extremely nice and super friendly. However, I was disappointed in the results of my nails. I started off with my pedicure, and as the lady was removing the old gel of my toes she kept the machine on my toe nail and it started to burn. She apologized and took it off (it's been a few hours since I got my nails down and it still feels a little sensitive). End result: toes look okay, but one of my big toenails has an air bubble and it so annoying. Then I got a manicure and she was pretty quick in taking out my old gel I had in my fingers and cleaning my nails up nice. However, my nails now look bumpy and I had to ask the lady to give one of my nails another coat because my nails looked a little sheer with the polish. She was nice and fixed it. End result: I got air bubbles in a few finger nails, bumpy feeling, and some nails are longer than the other nails. I might consider coming back, but only time will tell. read more

After an intense Yelp search for a good nail salon in the area, my friend, her daughter, and I ended up here. We were a little skeptical about the lack of reviews (as well as some not-so-great reviews), but they had an appointment available for all three of us right away on a Saturday morning and were decently priced so we said let's do it. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and showed us to our seats. The nail salon was very clean with about eight seats for manicures and lots of comfy-looking chairs for pedicures. They had so many colors to choose from that we had a hard time deciding! It was $26 each for our gel manicures and, to my surprise, they don't charge extra for gel removal! Some places charge anywhere from $3 - $8 for that, so I was pleased to find that it was free here. Both of our gel manicures came out great. Our manicurists paid close attention to detail and made sure there were no bumps, bubbles, or polish on our skin. My friend's three year old daughter got her toenails painted for only $5. She got pink with glitter and absolutely loved it. We had a great experience here and would certainly go back! read more

Once I got a technician to help us they did well a good job. I called ahead to reserve a spot for 5:00 fearing they might be busy. They didn't even ask me my name. Then I came in and told them of my reservation they sat me in a chair ("the noisiest massage chair" as the next technician referenced it as she heard it) and wasn't tended to until 5:40. I have wide nails so whenever I ask for square acrylics they usually end up looking flared out and awful. When I went here I asked for square and the tech doing my nails mentioned oval would be better for me because he noticed my wide nails. When I asked if he could make square work, he said he would narrow them up a little to make up for the width. They ended up amazing and beautiful. I got what I wanted and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating. I love that they knew what to do with my nails rather than hope for the best and give me something bad. Today is my birthday. My mother gave me a little money so I decided to treat myself to a pedicure. Went I first got there the woman showed me the price list with services. I pointed to the $23 basic pedicure and said that was the one I wanted. She could barely speak English, but pointed to the $28 pedicure and somehow was barely able to give me the idea I would get "more" for that one. So I decided, oh well it's my birthday, so I agreed to the $28 one as I was pointing to it. When I went to pay, I gave her the $28 with a tip. She said ok and I started to leave. But then she came running after me, and the gentleman with her pointed out that I owed $38 because I got the $10 extra shellack, and pointed to the bottom of the chart that showed an extra $10. So I paid the extra, but I DID NOT ask for the $10 extra, nor did I point to it, or say I wanted it. Nor did I understand at any point I was getting that. I paid an extra $15, plus tip beyond what I had wanted or asked for. I felt a little ripped off, and it took out the excitement of getting a pedicure for my birthday. Just left 10mins ago and got a very good pedicure and would give a 5 for it. As for my manicure, I would give a zero. The guy said he could do the design I asked for, but couldn't. I ask for my design color to match the color of my other nails, but he got me a maroon that absolutely didn't match. He didn't even care about the quality of my designs. Poorly trained male employees. It is the worst mani/pedi I've ever received. He rushed through my pedi and I didn't even get my toes or heels pedicured properly. My gel manicure was sloppy and stuck under my nails. I had to pick it out. I don't even know what I actually paid for. My ten year old daughter who started the same time as me and got a simple child's mani pedi finished 20 minutes after me. I'm so disappointed. read more

Never had a worse customer service experience in my life. I went and got a gel nail manicure last Friday I noticed they didn't look as good as they typically look when I get gel nails. A bit streaky and uneven, but I didn't say anything. She was a nice lady and I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. 2 days later, my nails started chipping. I went in Tuesday to get them fixed and a young guy fixed 4 of them. 2 days later two others had chipped (including ones that had just been fixed). This seemed ridiculous. I went back in and dealt with a short man who seems like he is in charge. I told him there must be a problem with that particular polish because they keep chipping and it has only been one week. He wanted to know who did them. I told him a young guy fixed them when I was in on Tuesday. He said 'I'm the only guy who works here.' Another customer pointed out there was a young guy doing a pedicure. That was the guy who fixed them. Then he wanted to know who did them originally. I told him it was a woman and he said 'Everyone who works here is here. Who was it?' They were all wearing masks, so it's hard to tell, but then I recognized her. Not sure if he thought I was making it up and hadn't received service there? Weird. He was being rude and refused to do anything but fix the two that had chipped in the past two days even though I explained that they all were chipping and this is my third time in. I said I'd like a different polish because there seemed to be a problem with this one. He refused. I then asked if I could just have refund so I could get them done somewhere else. He told me to go up to the register and said it was $25 he'd refund. I know I paid a lot more than that. He said he'd need to see a receipt. I looked up my bank account statement which showed $44.00. He took a screenshot and went and discussed who knows what with another woman who works there for quite awhile then came back and gave me $35. I just said thank you and left. Worst and weirdest customer service I've ever received. This guy really needs some education on how to treat customers. Beware of this place! If they screw up they won't make it right and will treat you like you're lying. read more

I received really great service here. As a visitor to Utah, I just found places convenient to where I was staying. I was lucky to happen upon this salon. They offer a wide variety of services. I was happy to see an express pedicure service. I was short on time but also wanted to enjoy a little pampering. It was the best of both worlds. My nail technician didn't skimp on doing a great job just because it was an express service. She did an amazing job and I would definitely go back to see her a second time if I am in Utah again. I came in yesterday for a full set of Acrylic nails. I was nervous at first because I had never been to this nail place before. I came in and was seated almost immediately! I picked my colors and Tina got started right away. and she did an amazing job! I love how my nails turned out and she made me feel very comfortable. We had a good conversation and shared some laughs while she did my nails. She was very nice and tried her best to give me beautiful nails. In the end, she did some final touches and put on some cuticle oil on my nails and we were done. The nails turned out amazing and I felt very happy. I paid and she told me to come back next year (because yesterday was new years eve.) All of the employees wished me a happy new year and even made sure I was okay when I hit my leg on the table on the way out. I have never been so disgusted by a nail salon. I have been a loyal and faithful customer for YEARS!!! I called and made an appointment for 2 pedicures. I arrived 20 minutes early and I was told I would need to wait because I was early. As I waited I watched them take 3 "walk-in" pedicures. At 3:30 which was the schedule time for my appointment they were no where ready for us. They rushed around to give us a place to sit. They never sanitized our seats...all they did was removed the trash from around the seat. Then we waited another 30 minutes and no one was anywhere near being able to assisting us with our pedicures. We had a fairly tight schedule and We DID NOT have the time to wait any longer and we had to leave. I DO NOT CARE if you accept walk-ins. If someone has an appointment they should get the service they requested at or very near the time they had requested and you had agreed on. I'm so utterly disappointed in this salon. read more

Been getting my nails done for over 20 years. This place is the worst place I have ever gotten my nails done. A young kid that had no clue how to even do acrylic nails. He refused to fix the ones that were broken during the full and just globbed on the shellac. I was upset and another guy had to redo them.
