I did a dip manicure and was told on the phone it was $45. I knew I made a mistake when I walked in and saw nail dust EVERYWHERE, paper decorations, and it smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I didn't have any polish on when I came in and they didn't do ANY cuticle trimming or grooming of my nails other than filing them. Even post manicure, there was no massage, no lotion, no cuticle oil, nothing! They couldnt find the first 2 colors I wanted and ended up going with my third choice which was relatively unprofessional as well. I left with gel and polish all over my skin. Finally I got up to the counter to pay and they charged me $50, when I was told it would be $45. I will not be going back and do not recommend it to others unless you want to pay $50 + tip for 4 days of barely decent nails.

I even got what felt like a ten minute massage. He even put my sandals back on me like Cinderella and her missing glass slipper haha. I basically felt like a princess. It was rushed, overpriced, and they looked terrible. The guy didn't even tell me he was done with my nails. Next none of my nails have an apex they're bound to break off sooner than i was hoping, and during his prep he used veryyy littleee acrylic primer, which is used as an adhesive for the acrylic to stick to your nail. One DAY after i got them done i noticed my thumb began feeling weak , a sign that ill start noticing lifting, and sure enough it is. they're all different sizes but im partial to blame bc i asked him to go a tiny bit shorter after already agreeing to a length so he had to go back over it. But i do nails and i do my own nails, so im disappointed having come out of my own pocket for nails that couldve definitely came out better for the price i paid for them. Im traveling so i wont be able to get them done for another month and usually my nails last long enough to get refills, i dont think these will even last two weeks. Stacy has an incredible sense of my hair, my face shape, and my personal range of colors. She can also talk technical, explaining in terms I don't understand why certain hues work for some people but not for others. Her knowledge about hair is so vast, and she loves to learn. I would never trust anybody else to make me a redhead because there is SO MUCH that can go wrong. But Stacy did it impeccably, and now I have no doubts in the woman's hair abilities. I have literally gone in wanting some change but not sure what, told her to work her magic, and left amazed. Stacy works in the basement of Stewart Palmer Salon and is opening her own "salon school" out of there. I'm grateful for her and am sad I have to leave her due to my own relocation. Any time I visit Utah I'll be making an appointment with her.
