I even got what felt like a ten minute massage. He even put my sandals back on me like Cinderella and her missing glass slipper haha. I basically felt like a princess. It was exactly what I needed having just traveled all the way from Seattle yesterday. I don't know his name but he was wearing a flannel. I really appreciated the pampering. Much needed. Great work! Probably some of my favorite acrylic nails ever (also where I got them done for my wedding)! The only bummer was that they only applied one layer of transparent gel on top and it was starting to come off within 3 days. ProfessioNail?... the jury still out on that one. This establishment is in a clean no high traffic area which was nice. I liked that it was near a laundromat. I travel for work and running errands in an efficient manner is a must so I found this place convenient. The person running the shop was polite and warm. However, the service left a lot to be desired. I went in for a pedicure, no polish. The person doing my pedicure did less than the bare minimum, no cleaning under the nail and no trimming the cuticle to a clean level on all sides. Nails were left ragged around the edges. Tools were already at working stations, opened and on a tray unable for the customer to tell whether they had been sterilized. I hate to be that person to ask if they have been sterilized, but like I said I travel for work and at times l do get a pedicure on the road in the past I have had an infection from a salon that cut into my skin. I was a return costumer and came in to get my nails done before my trip I'm leaving for this week. When I walked in I was stared at and not greeted at all. When I said hi, the woman said "what do you need?" It was very uncomfortable and odd, but I had good work done before so I just responded I'd like my nails done. She stared at me before saying, "we're very busy." I didn't know what to say or do as the front says "walk-ins welcome" and I've never had an appointment. She then said, "you can come in an hour." When I came back, they still stared at me when I walked in and said "what do you need?" I honestly should've left at that point because I don't understand why they were being so rude. Is my business annoying you? I reminded them that I had an appointment and they told me to pick a color. Once I did they told me to sit down, and then 5 minutes later someone else came and told me to move again. The owner and the man who did my nails talked for a while as he removed my previous gel & cut me 3 times. Once he started the color I kept checking that he didn't miss spots & sides, which he did. He never said one word to me but I tried showing him. He was aware because he would fix some of the problems, but the overall quality and concern of the costumer was just non existent. I have bubbles, uneven color, & I was never asked what shape I wanted my nails. I'll never, ever come back. Not to mention being stared at rudely by various staff while I was there, & when I tried to pay no one speaking to me and ignoring me. My husband finally said, "uh, who do we pay?" Bottom line - I finished the appointment with a nice gel polish job, thanks to Mr. Aaron. If you're okay with the techs using the dremel to take off your polish all the way to the nail bed, then this place is probably ok for you. However, I don't. Don't ever use Tony the technician. He started my appt and got frustrated and left when I asked him to please not use the dremel all the way through the old gel polish down to my nail. A lady then came to do the manicure. She did a good job cutting back the cuticles, but only used tepid water, no cuticle remover. She did not take off the rest of the old gel polish before doing the manicure. To use the foil/acetone to take off the rest of the polish would have really stung my freshly cut cuticles. I was not happy about having to resort to them then using the dremel to get the rest of the old polish off. Then they had me move to another chair for Aaron to apply the gel. He did a really nice job. The manicure and gel polish removal was not up to what it should have been. It was a stressful, unpleasant experience, as I don't like to complain or deal with conflict when a shop should be making for a positive, pampered experience. read more

I have been coming to ProfessioNail for about 5 months now and have always liked the way they've done my acrylics. Although I've liked their work, the store is a completely unprofessional environment. Half the time the employees are walking around with their shoes off watching weird tv programs and playing games on their phone. It's not appropriate, honestly. But I let it slide because they were quick, efficient, and cheap. But I just got back from an absolutely terrible experience here, that is my last straw. First of all, when I tried to explain the new shape of nail I wanted, the man doing my nails rudely responded that he knew what I wanted... well clearly he didn't because my nails did not turn out the way I asked. Not only that, but I told him to only cut off a little but as you can see from my photos my nails are extremely short. When he first took a look at my nails, he actually made the most disgusted grunt and shook his head. Throughout the session, he kept laughing at me for whatever reason and would continually shake his head. I felt so uncomfortable I wanted to get up and leave. When he removed my nail polish, he left so much on my nail and made a mess all over my fingers and didn't bother to clean it off completely. Not only that, but his actual paint job was just messy. I came here because the reviews are so good, but as you can see from the pictures, this was a terrible pedicure. The water was cold, and I had asked them twice to drain it to make it warm and it was never warm enough. There was gunk floating in the basin, and I could see caked/on debris around the drain. I am assuming that's where the floaty's came from. I had to ask them to turn the spa jets on, and I warned the technician that I have an ingrown toenail that need to be clipped with a pair of cuticle scissors. The service and reception just felt very... cold. And when it was time for me to pay, my tech just kind of walked away and I felt really awkward trying to figure out who could help me pay. What really got me was when I got acrylics removed, a piece flew off while the lady was shaving them off and it went in MY EYE. Sharp object flew into. my. eyeball! I had to tell the lady to stop and I rushed to the sink so I could fish the piece out. She didn't seem concerned or apologetic at all. She just said a flat "sorry". I did GEL NAILS and it FELL OFF IN A WEEK and I only have one nail that sits on my hand properly. Nail cuticles were not done neatly and they didn't filled my nails before applying gels. My sisters and I came here with appointments and when we walked in the staff couldn't be bothered with our business. They literally said, "what do you want?" when we walked through the door. ProfessioNails was FANTASTIC!! They were able to fit my mom, sisters and me in kind of last minute (called the day before to make 5 appointments). When I made the appointments, I screwed up and told them 5 mani-pedis, when in reality it was 5 pedis, 2 manis, and 3 fakes. They kind of panicked when we arrived and told them what we needed, but they said "no problem, we'll take care of it", and they definitely did!! I'm very sad to have to write a review with less than 5 stars. I used to love coming here all the time . I brought my entire family in multiple times I've told my sister in law , my mother in law , my husband, and my two friends have both came as well all at different times. I've helped to spread the word about this place because it is good in most areas. I brought a ton of business in for them. My husband about 2-3 weeks ago came in with an appointment and waited for 30-45 minutes even when he had an appointment. My husband told me about this and I was shocked at first. Then I decided to give them another try after hearing about my husband's experience and me and my sister set up an appointment at a time that they said would be available. Me and my sister in law walk into the location and there are at least 3 people still waiting to be helped , which was confusing. We both walked in and there wasn't even a place to really sit down that's how busy it was. I understand that the demand can get higher than the amount of employees can handle. So we sat down and we waited about 30-45 minutes and thought oh maybe its just a really busy day more than the normal. Then we noticed around 30 or so minutes waiting to get helped that 2-3 more people walked in needing to be helped. One lady walked up to Tina the owner ( Who is almost always nice btw) and asked her how long the wait will be . Realize that we had been waiting for about 30-45 minutes at this point and I walked outside in order to call a family member because I was bored for waiting so long. My sister in law who was trying to remain cheerful up until this point thought that this was the last straw that she could handle. She grabbed my items and then told Tina ( The owner) " Hey Tina I'm sorry but we have to go" Tina responds " Oh do you have an appointment somewhere" to which my sister in law responds yes we do we have other things to do. We expected the appointment to last at least an hour but we did not expect the wait time to also be almost an hour as well. Which is pretty ridiculous , regardless I will no longer want to do business here any longer as much as it makes me sad to say I loved Tina and the works she did and I can't keep putting up with the wait times. read more

Went here with a friend. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. He put the nail polish on super thick so it didn't dry properly and gave me a pedicure and manicure in the space of half an hour. The nail polish is warped and chipped and it's only been two days. I paid $50 for something I could have done better myself. My friend that went with me had a picture of what she wanted and the lady couldn't understand her. She was done a whole hour after me so it seems you are either rushed out of there or they take a half hour just trying to understand what you want for each procedure even with pictures.
