It was awesome! We went on a Saturday morning and it was pretty empty which was awesome. My mother in law and I went in together and loved it! Took about an hour to do my acrylics but the woman who was doing it seemed like a perfectionist and did them perfectly :) it was $85 for a set of acrylics & gel, pretty reasonable. The place was clean, they offered us water, and it was just overall a good experience.

This Lim nails is in a strip mall at 1419 Sooth state. Just down from Hansel's ice cream a F-45.

You'll leave with your feet feeling happy and refreshed. Trust me - this place is just better than others in Utah valley. Some local nail places seem to be run by a grumpy guy. Not here. Fun family who love what they do. Has a nice friendly vibe. Call and get an appointment because it can be busy. They just replaced all their massage pedicure chairs, super nice. Super friendly. Your feet will thank you. They also do manicures but that's not my thing. Get a pedicure and walk out floating on air! Go to Lim nails - you're worth spoiling a bit once in a while.

My husband and I had pedicures today at Lim Nails. I have tried over the years various nail salons in the Orem area. I have finally hit the jackpot! Walked in to get my nails done. I saw they had good reviews so I thought why not give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Literally asked for a basic thing and the man quickly cut me off and said they didn't have time to do it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They still had an hour left to close... and I wasn't asking for acrylics or anything hard. Quick and friendly service. They did manicure and pedicure separately, which I appreciate because it wasn't uncomfortable or rushed. I told them my concerns and they made suggestions that were useful. I did dip, a little unsettling dipping into the container that everyone else could potentially use but other than that everything was great. read more

This appointment just got worse and worse. I arrived with a pre scheduled appointment and left with no polish on my nails. When I made my appointment I asked for a dip manicure and when I arrived I repeated this. The tech did not tell me that she will not do a dip only gel and that the only person who can do dip is on vacation. I moved forward with the appointment because she had already started. She then cut nails very short without asking me. At this point I asked for a full set with gel so I could still get my desired shape and nail strength. The tech told me she has another appointment so she had no time for further service after soaking off my previous dip color. So I was there for an hour, received none of the services I requested and now have dry cuticles and brittle nails for vacation. read more

I also think the prices here are very good and competitive for the area. Overall great experience! I called ahead and set an appointment. The owner made sure I knew where they were located prior to ending the conversation. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted and tended to. The pedicure was great and the gel polish was done very well. I really enjoyed the massage chair as part of the pedicure treatment too. read more

The workers were very kind and funny. He even put our shoes on for us so we didn't mess up our pedicures. My sister felt her experience was a little lacking because her massage chair wasn't working properly and she did pay for the upgrade but they forgot to do the hot rocks on her massage. I would go back for my next pedicure, but I'm not sure she would. read more

There are several different modes on the chair many different buttons to choose from, he then proceeded to tell me if you don't like it go somewhere else he didn't explain that he only has it set in Auto and there's only one setting, even though there are several buttons to choose from he kicked me out of his store telling me to go somewhere else. I talk to him telling him I did not understand that he only had the chair programmed to One mode even though there are 8 other option to choose from. I explained I couldn't understand the lady helping me with my pedicure because we don't speak the same language and he threw me out of his store. I think this is a terrible Example of customer service if he is not offended because someone wants to put it in a different mode he should have a sign saying there is only one mode and it is auto. I noticed today during my appointment I could see through the white gel and asked if he would fix it and he said no because he already did the top coat. Like I get it but I'm literally paying for this service...My other toe has little bumps all in the gel too. I have had good experiences getting my nails done! I really like how my nails turn out but very disappointed in the quality of the pedicure. The experience is nice but that doesn't matter if I hate the way my toes look. I'm going on a trip tomorrow and I'm super sad about my toes, feels like a waste of money. On a positive note, the place always smells good and feels clean!

I asked several times to fix and she argued with me they looked fine!!!! Different lengths! The French tips aren't even even and it's so slanted! I called to ask for a refund and to be fixed they told me I needed to pay for a fill if I wanted fix and they wouldn't do a refund! I asked to speak with the owner several times and he told me he'd have them call! Called back over the course of several days and he would keep saying they will call the next day but no call was ever made to me! Ended up hanging up on me when I asked for his name as well as the number for the owner since he hasn't called me despite several times telling me he would the next day.

Im not gonna do too much complaining but since i paid $87 on my nails with all these random added…read morefees i felt i had to do an honest review, for starters when i spoke to the gentleman doing my nails i asked for more of a tapered square/ square shape with the pinky stilettos , these came out to be more coffin shape. Next none of my nails have an apex they're bound to break off sooner than i was hoping, and during his prep he used veryyy littleee acrylic primer, which is used as an adhesive for the acrylic to stick to your nail. One DAY after i got them done i noticed my thumb began feeling weak , a sign that ill start noticing lifting, and sure enough it is. they're all different sizes but im partial to blame bc i asked him to go a tiny bit shorter after already agreeing to a length so he had to go back over it. But i do nails and i do my own nails, so im disappointed having come out of my own pocket for nails that couldve definitely came out better for the price i paid for them. Im traveling so i wont be able to get them done for another month and usually my nails last long enough to get refills, i dont think these will even last two weeks. But his art came out good and they look like the inspo i gave him and he was nice abt all the things i asked from him even when it came to drawing the letters by hand.

Unkind people who turn away customers for being "too fat" do not deserve my business. Really disappointed in how Lim Nails treated a truly lovely member of the community who spends all day (and most nights) helping other people: her foster kids, callers on mental health hotlines, members of the LGBTQIA community, and basically anyone she meets. To hear that she was turned away and shamed is horrifying. read more

LOVE this place. It's the best! They are so good about actually keeping your appointment time which I love. If you make an appointment for a certain time they WILL be ready for you. I always have Lisa do my pedicures and she is AMAZING. So sweet & gentle. And Lim is very detail oriented and amazing with manicures. I never go anywhere else now!!! read more

I was in Utah for vacation and decided to spoil myself and have my nails done. I was extremely happy with the outcome. I was seated right away (even though I was 20 mins early), my nail tech wasn't there yet so Lim started and finished my nails. I would recommend making an appointment. A full set with gel polish was around $35.00. read more

I'm a retired Aesthician, I've been around spas and salons for quite some time but I have to give Lim, all 5 Stars I have never had my nails done, look and feel so good ever before. I only trust Lim to do my nails. We used to go to him all the time when he worked at Nail Expo and now his salon is the only place we go. He is super accommodating and understanding! When my friend and I came in to our appointments, they realized they had overbooked. They were so kind, made sure we were comfortable the entire time, and still did a great job doing our nails even though they were behind. I love that Lim knows my name when I come in and uses it as he speaks. He's quick and efficient. His mother is the best with pedicures. I've since moved to Alpine and because of how good they are I'm willing to travel to Orem/Provo salon to have my nails and toes done. read more
