My husband and I had pedicures today at Lim Nails. I have tried over the years various nail salons in the Orem area. I have finally hit the jackpot! The husband and wife who own the salon are a delight. You don't feel rushed at all and they really give one of the best pedicure's I have ever had. Can't say enough about what a great experience and relaxing time we had. read more

Quick and friendly service. They did manicure and pedicure separately, which I appreciate because it wasn't uncomfortable or rushed. I told them my concerns and they made suggestions that were useful. I did dip, a little unsettling dipping into the container that everyone else could potentially use but other than that everything was great. read more

Walked in to get my nails done. I saw they had good reviews so I thought why not give it a try. Literally asked for a basic thing and the man quickly cut me off and said they didn't have time to do it. They still had an hour left to close... and I wasn't asking for acrylics or anything hard. The man was so rude, I definitely will not be coming back. if you're going to work in customer service, there's no need to be rude to people. read more

This appointment just got worse and worse. I arrived with a pre scheduled appointment and left with no polish on my nails. When I made my appointment I asked for a dip manicure and when I arrived I repeated this. The tech did not tell me that she will not do a dip only gel and that the only person who can do dip is on vacation. I moved forward with the appointment because she had already started. She then cut nails very short without asking me. At this point I asked for a full set with gel so I could still get my desired shape and nail strength. The tech told me she has another appointment so she had no time for further service after soaking off my previous dip color. So I was there for an hour, received none of the services I requested and now have dry cuticles and brittle nails for vacation. read more

The workers are so sweet and provide great customer service! I got the "spa pedicure" (they have, if I remember correctly, four different pedicures on the menu) with gel toes and loved it. I also think the prices here are very good and competitive for the area. Overall great experience! I think they take walk ins but I would definitely make an appointment ahead of time out of courtesy for the workers. read more

I called ahead and set an appointment. The owner made sure I knew where they were located prior to ending the conversation. When I arrived, I was quickly greeted and tended to. The pedicure was great and the gel polish was done very well. I really enjoyed the massage chair as part of the pedicure treatment too. read more

The workers were very kind and funny. He even put our shoes on for us so we didn't mess up our pedicures. My sister felt her experience was a little lacking because her massage chair wasn't working properly and she did pay for the upgrade but they forgot to do the hot rocks on her massage. I would go back for my next pedicure, but I'm not sure she would. read more

I sat down, and I was trying to put the chair into kneeding mode instead of chopping mode on my back, and the lady helping me didn't know what I was trying to do because we spoke different languages so Lim came over once she asked him to to see what I needed and he told me that is an auto mode so it goes through the kneeding and chopping and rolling on your back and I asked if I could just put it on the kneeding option Because I didn't enjoy the chopping. There are several different modes on the chair many different buttons to choose from, he then proceeded to tell me if you don't like it go somewhere else he didn't explain that he only has it set in Auto and there's only one setting, even though there are several buttons to choose from he kicked me out of his store telling me to go somewhere else. I talk to him telling him I did not understand that he only had the chair programmed to One mode even though there are 8 other option to choose from. I explained I couldn't understand the lady helping me with my pedicure because we don't speak the same language and he threw me out of his store. I think this is a terrible Example of customer service if he is not offended because someone wants to put it in a different mode he should have a sign saying there is only one mode and it is auto. Finally I got up to the counter to pay and they charged me $50, when I was told it would be $45. I will not be going back and do not recommend it to others unless you want to pay $50 + tip for 4 days of barely decent nails.

Unkind people who turn away customers for being "too fat" do not deserve my business. Really disappointed in how Lim Nails treated a truly lovely member of the community who spends all day (and most nights) helping other people: her foster kids, callers on mental health hotlines, members of the LGBTQIA community, and basically anyone she meets. To hear that she was turned away and shamed is horrifying. read more

I was in Utah for vacation and decided to spoil myself and have my nails done. I was extremely happy with the outcome. I was seated right away (even though I was 20 mins early), my nail tech wasn't there yet so Lim started and finished my nails. I would recommend making an appointment. Appreciated how soft the technician was with removing my gel and cuticle cleaning (sometimes technicians are aggressive or go to fast with filing or cleaning that stresses me out or even knicks my sensitive skin - not here! Great care with my nails). To top it off, great lotion massage for ~10 min. Total $35 for gel manicure. I'm only visiting in town, but will definitely return when I come back to Utah.

You could tell the girl was totally passionate about nails- she asked all the right questions about how I wanted my nails done, she made sure the stone, towels, and wax weren't too hot, and she spent a good amount of time perfecting my nails. She was awesome and I was thrilled that I had found a nail place I could trust. The next two times I've gone, I have gotten this woman that may be slightly too old to be working there? Sorry lady. She cut my skin a couple of times, she couldn't totally hear me when I made a couple of comments about my nails and then she did a pretty sloppy paint job. I'm so bummed because I wanted to like this place, but the inconsistency is frustrating:/
