I've had a pedicure here twice now (about a year or so apart) and I have been absolutely disappointed each time. My toes are never even, the gel is never smooth, you can see through the color and my nails are always jagged. I'm so sad. I noticed today during my appointment I could see through the white gel and asked if he would fix it and he said no because he already did the top coat. Like I get it but I'm literally paying for this service...My other toe has little bumps all in the gel too. I have had good experiences getting my nails done! I really like how my nails turn out but very disappointed in the quality of the pedicure. The experience is nice but that doesn't matter if I hate the way my toes look. I'm going on a trip tomorrow and I'm super sad about my toes, feels like a waste of money. On a positive note, the place always smells good and feels clean! read more

I wanted to give this a good review because I have friends who love it but the service was just terrible. I work in a hospital where I am not allowed to have gel nails, so I have to use regular nail polish. I know using this makes it so the service won't last as long, but I have no choice. The nail polish was chipped on at least four nails less than an hour after I left my appointment. When I came back, she blamed it on me not getting gel and having weak nails, which is true, but she used no base coat and painted on my skin. Also, my friend went the day before and got a full gel set for less than what I was charged for regular polish. Overall bad service and cheap quality products that don't last. read more

New to Utah and looking for a nail salon. Chose based on reviews and glad I did! We walked in, waited maybe 5 minutes. Was very clean. They just replaced all their pedicure chairs which are very comfortable and lots of features for massage including heated seat!! Employees very friendly and service was great. G Nails gave me the best pedicure I've ever had! I will always come here from now on. To start off, the environment is far better than your typical salon. It felt super clean and even the decor is fancy. What other nail place has chandeliers for lighting? The chairs don't give massages but instead they're comfy thrones and honestly I prefer it to the massage chairs! There's also relaxing music playing in the background. It's the perfect environment to pamper yourself in. I appreciated that every single tool was in a package so you knew it was clean and being used on just you. Really disappointed in my visit. The salon is very nice and clean and the staff very friendly but my service just sucked. I got the classic pedicure and it lasted like 20 min. Seriously so fast. Which is fine if you were wanting a quick service but I feel like he skipped over all the relaxing parts I enjoy in a pedicure. They are supposed to massage you and give you the sugar scrub and while he did that it, it only lasted like 30 seconds each leg. Which is fine I guess but it was not the relaxing experience I was seeking. Also he only did one coat of polish and didn't do a good job at all and I could see my nail through the polish. My toe nails were jagged too. I tried correcting him at the end of the service and got him to fix some things but overall extremely disappointed. It wasn't too pricey but I still expected a little bit more:/ I'll try them one more time in case it just was a bad day but I don't know if I can recommend. read more

Had an appointment but a group of 5 came in before us. instead of saying they have to wait or make an appointment themselves they took them in (could not say no to the money I guess). Us and the other two people who had appointments ended up waiting an hour past our scheduled time. We had movie plans but had to cancel them because of it. It took 45 minutes from the time I got there to the time my pedicure started (even though I had an appointment and there were only 3 customers in the room). I didn't feel any sense of urgency for them to get to me. My entire pedicure lasted less than 20 minutes. The man working on my toes never said a word to me. My mom who was with me woke up the next day with swollen and red, infected toes. Don't usually leave reviews but feel passionately enough to let others know. EASILY one of the best pedicures I've ever had and EASILY one of my favorite nail salons I've ever been to. First of all, the place is clean, bright, organized, light, and spacious. One of the worst things is when you walk into a nail salon and it looks/feels run down and dirty. It really made for a more luxurious and enjoyable experience. The actual pedicure was top notch. Seat was comfy, massage and exfoliant were great, and polish looks professional. My nail technician was kind as well. Loved the people here. I had a hard time finding pricing anywhere, so just FYI basic manicure is $18 and basic pedicure is $27. They also have done a great job Covid-wise. Masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and plexiglass at the manicure stations. Well done! To my friends- this is a place worth trying next time you want your nails done. I'll be back! It's impressive when you walk in. Everything is white and clean looking....I was having my gel nail polish changed. I picked my color...the color I happened to pick was almost all gone so instead of her getting a new one or asking me to pick a new one she did it and shrugged her shoulders like that's what I picked. I had my grandson with we so I didn't say anything. She asked if I wanted a design, I first said no but she was insistent so I said sure, something for valentines. This is what I got ...if my grandson wouldn't have been with me I would have asked to redo them. I need to learn to speak up for myself more I realize. read more

I absolutely loved my experience at G Nails Bar. The salon is beautiful and clean. It is new and hip right next to the movie theatre and ice cream shop in Vineyard so a great location. The salon is family-owned by a sweet Vietnamese family. I had a great conversation with Jon, the husband and co-owner and he is so kind and attentive. I loved the variety of scrubs that came with the basic pedicure. Also, my toenails have been destroyed by skiing, cycling and climbing but Jon took care of me and made me feel pretty without batting an eye. I would recommend booking in advance as they are a new salon and are still trying to gain a solid customer base and hire more employees. read more

Kind, patient, detail oriented. I showed a picture of what I was hoping to have done and the girl who was doing my nails said , "let me get someone who can do that." That may not seem like a big deal, but to me it showed that instead of earning a tip for herself, she was more interested in making sure I was happy as a client. I appreciate that. I showed the photo to my new girl - GIGI- and I couldn't be happier. She checked with me during the whole process and asked how I liked the design. I used to go here a few years ago and it was great! The last few times I have gone I haven't had a good experience. When I would ask if we could fix certain messes the nail artist would huff. I went in today for a pedicure and I was there for almost 2 hours!!! The lady working on me was sooo sweet but she had no idea what she was doing. Chunky, uneven, messy toes is what I had. I finally asked for someone else who rushed over and redid the whole service in about 15 minutes. I feel bad but my toes aren't cleaned and I have dried polish on my skin. 10/10 would recommend, the ladies there were very nice and hospitable. I got a mani and pedi with regular nail polish, I only had to tell them what I wanted once and they did everything perfectly! The atmosphere was very calm and I didn't have to make small talk the whole time, though there was another customer who did want to talk and they had a very nice conversation with her, I however was content to sit back and relax and they respected that very nicely. They were very considerate when I wanted to put my socks and shoes on instead of the flip flops and the lady told me to be careful or the nail polish on my toes might smear, which I appreciated her advice and attention. This wasn't my favorite salon. They said I would only have to wait 15 minutes as a walk in but I ended up waiting 45. They were understaffed and as soon as I sat in the chair, the tech kept standing up to help people pay, and telling all new walk ins that she would be available in 15 minutes even thought she had just started my new acrylic set. She rushed my set and my gel. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to block out an additional hour to wait. read more

I'm very pleased with my nails! I got gel polish ($30) and I'm going on over two weeks now & only one nail has slightly chipped. They have a really nice selection of gel polish colors as well. The salon is very clean & decorated nicely. As far as customer service, it wasn't great, but I can't say I've ever had great customer service at any nail salon I've been to. At the end of the day, I don't really care how friendly they are as long as they do my nails well & they last, which was the case for me. So, I'll be back! read more

Feel like every time I go there they are always charging me for me. They nickel and dime me every time. Don't love that they don't have a set price for services advertised anywhere in the salon. They also charged me for filing my nails in an almond shape. I've never been anywhere where they charge you for your nail shape. This is the very best salon I've ever been to!! GG is amazing, and all of her staff members are friendly and professional. GG did my nails in March before the Covid-19 shutdown, when I came up from Texas, and they lasted until I came back again for the birth of our grand baby. Luckily, the shutdown of salons was lifted, and GG took care of my girls and me. Even more awesome, was the fact that she remembered us.
