It was a delight getting to know her during the trial and she did a fabulous job on my makeup and hair (and the hair for my maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids). My makeup really stayed on during the day even though I was a crying mess most of the time (I made sure to get airbrush makeup). Everyone loved the way she did my updo- it was quite intricate and really showed the color in my hair. The only complaint I had was that the two bridesmaids who had their hair done by the assistant said they weren't as happy with the finished look and they felt like their requests were not heard. What I can really appreciate about any makeup artist is their versatility - not every eye shape or cheekbone is made equal, and one of Tiffany's strengths is that she is able to work her talent on any canvas. I was introduced to Tiffany through a friend. After a phone conversation with her, I decided to hire her for my wedding day after seeing only one other MUA team. She was easy to talk to and very thorough in understanding my skin type and makeup preferences. For my trial, she and the hairstylist, Eddie, arrived early to my apartment and they were both super flexible and accommodating even though I was in the middle of cooking dinner. I had told her the kind of look I wanted beforehand, which she nailed. She then modified it a little just to show me an alternative look, taking the extra time to also tell me her opinion, which I agreed with. Fast forward to the day of, Tiffany, Eddie, and another assistant arrived at 7am to my parents' house. I had signed with her to do my makeup, as well as for my mom and my bridesmaids. My bridesmaids were not super helpful and asked Tiffany to do what she felt looked best on them and she delivered. I also changed up what I wanted at the last minute from what we had discussed at my trial - the final look was perfect. Eddie also understood exactly how I wanted my hair done after I gave him my thoughts after the trial. Its great that they come to your hotel so you're not rushing to the salon on an already hectic morning. Once there they really go above and beyond! They are able to accomadate everyones individual style and preferences + are professional and had great suggestions. Lynn even helped one of my bridesmaids put contacts in because she really didn't want to wear glasses but was squeamish about eyeballs. Everything went off without a hitch. Tiffany did my hair and makeup for couple photos and she was amazing. She knew exactly how to do my makeup the way I wanted without doing a trial run and based only on a description of what I would be wearing. I didn't want to look to made up but she knew exactly what she was doing so that my features were accentuated for photos but not overdone. We weren't able to do a trial run because our schedules didn't work out but she was able to get me the look I wanted on the day of our photo shoot. I went with the airbrush because it was a humid day in DC and the photo shoot was going to start a couple hours after the makeup was done. The airbrush looked great and my skin was flawless in the photos. I can't say enough about how good Tiffany made me look and will definitely be looking to work with her again for any future events. We would HIGHLY recommend Tiffany. I am not a makeup user beyond the occasional mascara for a night out so I was very hesitant to have professional hair and makeup but WOW- she was able to listen to what I wanted and make it look natural and did the same for my three bridesmaids with moderately different skin/hair. She brought along another artist to do our hair so we could be ready by the time we requested. We felt like movie stars after they were done- taking our vague ideas and turning it into something a million times better than we could have imagined.
