This place is giving Quan Mi a run for its money! This place is connected with another restaurant. Banh Xeo Dac Biet $15 - comes with pork, shrimp and squid but I omitted the squid. Very very crispy and generous with the pork and shrimp. The pork wasn't pork belly, maybe shoulder and some were a bit too crispy so it was hard to chew but overall still tasty!
SO BOMB!! Oh my gosh when I say the banh xeo is huge..I mean ITS HUGE. It's so crispy, loaded with shrimp/pork/squid, and absolutely delicious wrapped in the fresh veggies and rice paper. We also ordered the house special rice noodle soup which was super rich in flavor yet still light. Our last item was the banh beo which were pretty standard but delicious nonetheless. Super good value for money. Overall, everything was spectacular. Just a warning though that the waitresses don't speak the best English but pointing and gesturing more than does the job! 5 Stars! I absolutely loved TK! I've been craving banh xeo for a while and found this place on Yelp. I tried several of the other highly rated banh xeos in the area but they do not come close to the one here for me. TK makes the style of Banh Xeo that I like and grew up eating. Thin, crispy, and coconuty rich outer layer and filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts. The aunties were so sweet and friendly. We sat on the second side and it felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves which was nice because eating banh xeo in public is pretty messy. The Banh Xeo was massive! Chopsticks in photo for size comparison. More than enough to share. I ordered it without squid and it was exactly like how my mom made it. It comes with greens/veg and rice paper for rolling. I brought my own gloves and enjoyed every minute of it. I will definitely be back for more. Ample parking in a shared lot, it's located to the left of the supermarket in the back corner.
Last weekend was my first time having lunch here with friends, and it was absolutely awful. We ordered the banh xeo, bun bo hue, banh canh, and butter garlic chicken rice. The seafood banh canh had zero flavor, the udon (banh canh) noodles were hard and stick together, the fish fillet was not fresh. Bun bo hue completely missed the mark, no lemongrass flavor at all, just a salty broth, tough beef slices. The absolute worst dish was the butter garlic chicken rice, which looked completely unappetizing, as you can see in the attached picture. I highly discourage eating here.

Same location as the Thuan Kieu Noodle & Grill. Their banh xeo was much better than the banh khot. Few of the banh khot pieces were actually too mushy inside and I did not enjoy that. Main problem here is the vegetables you get (or don't get). Quality and variety were lacking. Last time I was served mostly dark/bruised lettuce (disgusting) and mint leaves with holes all over. First time got no cilantro, second time they gave me one stem... Should really be at least 4 stars but they failed me with the veggies.
The banh xeo and banh khot here are big, comically so. If you order for pickup, they come in a cardboard box, which I think helps it stay crispy since there's little opportunity for steam. They come with all the greens and bean sprouts that you need and a solid portion of nuoc mam. The banh xeo is much better than the banh khot in my opinion. I think the size actually hinders it, and the inside gets too mushy. However, the flavors are good and I would absolutely come back for the banh xeo.

We also got the nem rolls which were so good!! Their is crispy eggroll wrapper inside and a good amount of meat! The service was so friendly and checked up on us even though we were tucked in a corner! This is next to my normal grocery store so I cant wait to try out their other stuff! Note: they have a 20$ minimum on card purchases so bring cash!
Yummy food, good bang for buck. Banh xeo is huuuugeeee and crispy. It does get a little oily after it's cold so eat it while it's hot! Idk what else we ordered but it had 7 different types of meats/egg/seafood things with vermicelli. The portion size for that was also huuugeee Service is good. The waiter was nice enough to tell us that we ordered enough for three people. Ambiance is nice. It's a local looking hole in the wall spot homeyyy and cute

We ordered the nem nuong spring rolls and the banh xeo and bánh khốt. The spring rolls were not very good compared to other places we've tried for nem nuong. The banh xeo and banh khot were super yummy and filling! I like that they also give mini rice paper to make our own rolls with the banh xeo and the banh khốt. They didn't refill water and gave too much ice. Total was $40 for all 3 dishes. They charge a fee for credit card use so cash is king here!
Very legit crispy banh khot and banh xeo. Fast service. Would definitely come back when craving .

Meet some friends at Dutch Bros and was trying to decide what to have for lunch...then realized there was Bahn Xèo!! The staff were fine, helpful. It'sa typical Vietnamese restaurant. It's a little confusing because it's convinced with another restaurant name. The bahn xèo really shined! It was so good!! Big, fluffy, and crispy all at the same time! So by and you won't regret it! My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new so we decided to go to TK Banh Xeo. Another reason why we picked them over other places is that they were open early and we wanted to head start to the day. Big mistake. The visual on google takes you to the back of the Target. It's actually on the side that faces Westminster, on the same side as Dutch Bros. When we walked in it was empty. Then we saw that it was connected to the business next door. Oh no... TK stands for... Thuan Kieu... and they are essentially the same business as Com Tam Thuan Kieu. Sigh. I already know I don't like Thuan Kieu. I didn't want to be a kill joy, but looking back we should have left. My boyfriend ordered the Com Tam Bi Cha Thit Nuong ($13.99). I avoided all the rice dishes knowing I don't like it so I got a Banh Khot Tom Thit ($15) and a Banh Beo Chen ($10.99). I also ordered a Nuoc Mat ($3) or herbal tea. The food came out quickly as I am impartial enough to check my time stamps but the time felt really long with the loud obnoxious "Asian Aunties" ambiance. As they loudly gossip and flex on one another with no consideration of their surroundings. My banh beo was really bland. I really dislike places that use the chicharon short cut instead of the traditional mo hanh topping. The banh khot had a deeper indentation and I wondered if it would be a better vehicle for toppings but it was pretty lackluster too. The inside was really mushy and it lacked the crispy bite that I enjoy. Even my not picky boyfriend wasn't a fan of the food. The thit nuong, or grilled pork here, was soggy and overly sauced. It really misses the mark on the grilled essence. Of the dishes we ordered, I could think of correlating businesses in the area that does it better. The main selling point at this place is affordability. Large portions for low prices. They even have some dishes that are buy 2 get 1 free... but for me... what's the point of a large portion if I don't want to eat it. read more

foodie‑on‑a‑mission vibe:I really love bánh khọt, and this is only my second spot trying it. I'm on a mission to find the perfect bánh khọt restaurant. This one was good -- I enjoyed every bite -- but it didn't quite have the same crunch as Bánh Khot Vung Tau. Still, I'm glad I got to try it. There's plenty of parking in the small shopping center, and the place was quiet, not too busy. I'd definitely come back. Love Vietnamese food. read more
The food is amazing. One of the best banh khốt experiences I've had. I didn't know that the coconut drizzle is the flavor I needed in my life. Now I cannot have banh khốt without it. Service was good. They suggested I get the banh beo, which was amazing as well. But I'm glad I had the banh beo first as an appetizer. Banh xèo was good but banh khốt was the show stealer. Restrooms were clean. The paper dispenser in women's room was up really high so a young child wouldn't be able to get the paper by themselves. read more

I had banh khot and banh xeo at 5pm. Nice seating area, clean and quiet. Unsually large size portion. I thought $15 for 1 dish is a lot, but soon realized it was really worth it. In the end, 2 women could only finish the banh khot and half of the banh xeo. Fresh and clean herb was a huge bonus. read more
First time trying TK Banh Xeo! We got the banh xeo (crepe) and nem cuon (pork spring rolls). It was super crispy and there was alot of filling inside. It was delicious! The menu has a wide range of different Vietnamese dishes. Ranging from rice to noodle dishes. I would def be back to try other menu items! We came in to TK Banh Xeo on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. It shares a space with another restaurant, and because of this, the menu is pretty extensive with different com tam and soup options! We were here specifically for the banh xeo and banh khot though, and were not disappointed! The banh xeo was HUGE, and rivals a similar size and crisp to Quan Mii. Similarly, the banh khot were the biggest I've ever had, and the coconut sauce to drizzle was a unique addition I've never seen at other restaurants -- it was delicious! When the food came out and we saw the portion sizing, my fiancé and I thought there'd be no chance we could finish it, but we ended up dusting everything! Can't wait to come back for more! read more

First time at TK Banh Xeo, and didn't realize it was connected to Com Tam Thanh Kieu! Tried the Banh Xeo, which they're obviously known for, and it was okay. The skin was crispy and paired well with the fresh veggies and complimentary rice paper, but lacking on the filling and flavor. It was a majority of bean sprouts inside, and some few pieces of tough pork, squid and shrimp. They also had a Buy 2 Get 1 Free offer for the noodles/rice dishes, which we took advantage of. Tried the Bun Bo Hue, and which the portion was ginormous, the flavor of the broth was also lacking. It didn't really have the deep beefy flavor I was looking for, but they definitely did not skimp on the meat in the soup. Just didn't really "hit" the way I wanted it to. We ordered the other 2 noodle dishes (dry hu tieu noodles) to go since it was so much food, which was also just okay. Not sure if I would come back unless someone really wanted to go! Overall service and ambiance were great though, servers came to check up on us often throughout the meal and there was a constant stream of customers in and out of the restaurant. read more

They have one of the crunchiest Banh Xeo and Banh khot in OC. Very well executed and flavorful. Friendly staff and helpful. It is own by Thuan Kieu noodle grill so you can get food from both sides. Lots of parking in this plaza and easy to find. Price is affordable read more

So let's start off with this review is pruely based on the food. The food was tasty but I wouldn't say it's the best I've had. Could better service influence my decision more and bump them up a star, possibly but it was pretty bad service. Yes, I know it's the typical restaurant that you shouldn't expect much with service but there was absolutely no presence. She seemed annoyed, didn't refill the water, nor came back once the food was put down, and was basically M.I.A. It's a two side restaurant and we noticed anyone new that came in was moved over. Bad luck for us. I saw her rudely pushing another customer to get out of her way, rather than say anything. Let's just say, it wasn't due to a language barrier as he spoke the language. There was live music. We ordered the Banh Xeo and Banh Knot. Banh Xeo comes with small spring roll wrapping sheets. I thought this was a nice touch but I struggled with it. I'm used to a normal size and even my husband was like "that's the worse wrapping I've ever seen you do lol." Banh Knot comes with coconut on the side, loved that. It was unique and upped the flavor. The fish dipping sauce we missing that acidity and garlic taste. Overall the portion was a nice size and crispy. Not sure if they were running low on pork but that was lacking on both dishes. We would have ordered more food since it wasn't very filling but she just never came back, so we just went elsewhere to eat. If I considered service, I would drop this to 2 or 1 star but I don't think that is fair to the establishment. read more
Decided to come here specifically for banh khot and we were not disappointed. This restaurant is connected and also owned by Thuan Kieu so doesn't matter which door you go in. We also ordered egg rolls, nem nuong cuong, and the #1 rice combo special that comes with 7 items. Food was so good! Service was quick and our order was taken right away. There is lots of tables and seating. It's not super clean but it's not gross. Just your typical Vietnamese restaurant lol. read more

The food was great! The portions were generous, and I really appreciated the abundance of fresh vegetables and herbs for wrapping. It made the whole meal feel fresh and customizable. They have great prices especially with their buy two get one bowl free noodle deal. read more

Came here for a quick lunch and honestly didn't expect much, but wow this place surprised me in the best way. The banh xèo was around $15 and it was huge! I couldn't even finish it and ended up taking leftovers home. What really impressed me was that it came with all the fixings. Tons of fresh greens and herbs, fish sauce, and even rice paper. Such a nice touch and not something every spot includes. The people working here are friendly and attentive. I'm already thinking about when I can come back. Great spot and great value! read more

If you love banh xeo then TK is a great alternative option in the area. This little spot specializes in all different variations of banh xeo. And they have deliciously made nước chấm for it as well. Besides just banh xeo they also have other items as well, such as com tam. I went with one other person on a Friday for dinner. I got the banh xeo dac biet which included mostly everything in it. It came with some lettuce and rice paper. It was large and pretty filling. Not super crispy but it was done pretty good. Oh and they gave us free corn che after. It was the perfect way to end our meal. The pricing is really affordable here. The staff was really nice and made sure to check on us. They even brought out more dipping sauce as well. The inside is smaller and casual. But definitely a good spot to check out if you want to try a different spot compared to where you normally go for banh xeo. read more
