I read on meet up that they have blues some nights. I haven't gone for the music, but had lunch here recently. I had the soup and also the Black and Bleu burger. The burger was good, but had a fair amount of heat. No mention of heat on menu. The Soup and ale were good too. But, the service was better than passable and less than good. Really disappointed with TJs, the food is great but the management is awful. And make sure you match your receipt and charge on your card when it's all said and done, my receipt came back correct but when it went through on my card, the charge was more than double. I tried to get this resolved through management for weeks, was only able to speak with him twice and the second time he even couldn't remember what my concern was. Otherwise the wait staff and food was all great, just be careful when it comes to paying and try to avoid the manager! read more

We love this place! The food is excellent! Much of the ingredients are homemade. The wings are the best, anywhere!! Service cannot be beat! The wait staff pool their tips so each of them is attentive and efficient. Great pizza, daily specials, and the salads are huge, fresh and contain real veggies and lettuces. No bagged lettuce here!! Atmosphere is comfortable. You can stop in after work (blue collar, white collar or your name on your work shirt, all are welcome), after an event or game, or just for dinner. I have mix feeling about this place? We been going here for many years drinking with friends after work. My husband hate this place they take way too much time when we go here together even though it's not busy. I keep coming here because they do serve one of the best margarita around, friendly servers. Getting your food in timely matter is hit and miss. By the way we're not in the hurry when there to drink so that's doesn't bother us so much. Sometime that place gets too dark or too loud because it is a small place. My daughter and I went there and some how my bills is just more than norm. Soda couldn't be $3.00? Tax way to high? The last time I was in this place I was about 6 years old and it was used as a child's dance studio! But again that was over 30 years ago - yet still inside my head I was thinking "shuffle-1, shuffle-2..." The appearance on the inside is definitely designed like a man cave, it is dark, with poor lighting, lots of black and chrome and TVs everywhere. It did appear to be newer and clean and there was a wide variety of people from soccer moms to old men and young kids playing darts. The food was so damn generic that I really am not sure why anyone would go here for the food in specific - the hours and location would be a better reason. Boneless wings?? More like lil over fried chunks of chicken with more batter than meat - usual restaurant quality pre-fabricated drop in the fryer fare. With watery blue cheese dressing that was mayonnaise, milk, salt and pepper with a few hunks of cheese. The menu was pretty basic, and not cheap. Nothing that made me go - oh we should try that! More like well what won't suck? Their burger "special" for $5.99 included one plain burger w/cheese lettuce, onion, and tomato and okay fries. However because I requested mine with just cheese and grilled onions - they charged me $8.99... I will let that one sink in for just a second... I had ordered a Malibu Rum and coke which came out in a pint glass (not requested) and was consequently so weak that I wish I had just ordered a soda. The burgers were decent size as I was told there was no way to have it med-rare just a little pink (FROZEN!) and of course my suspicions were true. The uniformed perfect circle of flavorless gray patty appeared about 15min later. SALT & PEPPER people - If McDonalds can season their patties so can you! I can tell you there is no way I would waste money on a dinner entree from here. I had brought my husband home a small $10 pizza which was enough for only one person - for the same $10 I can order an 8-cut from the pizzeria around the corner. He thought the pizza was decent however he didn't have any other options. I will tell you that for 2 burgers, 2 bottles of beer, one rum and coke, and one small pizza our tab was $60 with tip! Next time I will convince my girlfriend to eat out at the grogge shoppe - where the beer is cheaper the drinks are cheaper the burgers are infinitely better and where on weds ANY burger on their menu is still only $5.00! And they are made by hand and cooked to your liking... Places like the Flightline are just bars that serve food any drinker will eat out of convenience. If they served the quality of food they are charging for then it would be somewhere to eat and have a drink. Just not somewhere I would go again. read more

Gave it a couple tries and it's about average. Nothing really bad but nothing that helps it stand out either. One thing that is always a turn off anywhere is not informing me that sodas aren't refilled for free. I totally understand and IT'S OK to charge IF that's your policy, but when 95% of restaurants and pubs don't charge for refills especially when the others in the party are drinking alcoholic drinks, it would be a nice courtesy to either have it posted CLEARLY or notified just after the first ice filled glass of soda is gulped down that he/she will be charged per glass.... Not after 4 or 5. Losing a few pennies to refill a glass isn't worth losing a customer. Food was good though. read more

Holy mother of God, the food here is awesome! Time and time again, everything I eat is delicious and consistent. Always busy, but the waitstaff greets you no matter how much they are flying through the dining room, and prompt service and the kitchen is a quick as possible even when swamped. Bar and dining room are not divided, so be aware that there is not a quiet place to eat. TVs everywhere to see games and such. Some eclectic offerings from the specials menu, not stuff you'd normally see served in a pub, but these guys know what they are doing. Prices reasonable as well. This is the first time I ate at one of the Ruggiero owned restaurants and let me tell you what... I'd do it again in a heart beat! This food was AMAZING and I don't use my caps lightly. Forget about what people are saying about seasoning, texture, price, or quantity because I'm here to set the record straight and say they're full of it! I'll throw down right now because that's how good my Crispy Chicken sandwhich with waffle fries was. I live in VT but often find myself in the Albany area and from now on when I'm going out to eat if it's not owned by a member of the Ruggiero family I'm not spending my money, well unless it's Chinese since these guys don't sell Chinese but if they did I bet it'd be the BOMB. Heard great things about this place and since it is a 5 minute drive went to check it out. They carried the Wolf Hollow beer from the brewery located on Rt 5, which was cool so we tried it out the pilsner in my opinion was great. We weren't super hungry, so I ordered the 10 inch "meatatarian" pizza and my friend orders the boneless wings. My pizza was good and packed on there with the meat! I could only eat two slices. The waitress was friendly and catered to us. I'll be going back when they have live music or fundraisers which I know they host a lot there. read more

After moving into the area, I was looking for a place to grab a burger and a beer. Well this is the place. They have a decent draft chioces and their burgers are made on a grill. ( you can totally taste the grill flavor when I eat mine ) Service is friendly and pleasent. The fries were ok, a little soggy but the burger made up for them. Friendly staff and great food! TJ's Flightline did a great job across the board. They have a great selection of bar food and perfectly execute entrees normally found in your traditional sit down restaurants in the area. The sirloin I ordered was cooked perfectly, along with tasty roasted potatoes and vegetables. Don't look past TJ's Flightline just because it's a bar or you will most certainly be missing out on some great food at more than reasonable prices. read more

Had the worst experience I've ever had in my life in a restaurant before. The owner who I believe is also the bartender, needs an attitude adjustment. Needs to learn how to take care of customers not put them down and then order them out of the restaurant because they simply asked for an explanation. Stopped in, for the first time ever. With a friend who had been many times before and said the food was good as well as the drinks. We arrived to find a packed parking lot, there was a band playing in a tent out behind the restaurant. We were told when we came in that there was a $10 cover, we asked what it was for, we were told it was for the band. We said we're not here to see the band we simply want to eat in the restaurant, we were told if you want to come in you have to pay $10? After getting inside, we realized quickly that the front door had no bouncer and no cover was being charged. When we asked the bartender about the cover, we were told it was for a benefit for people in Texas. Their Facebook page, said they had a band, but said nothing about the benefit or cover charge, there was no signs anywhere indicating a benefit, and nobody in the bar seemed to know anything about a benefit. My friend ordered his drink, it was served to him, and he simply asked for an explanation. The stocky male bartender who I found out was the owner, told us if we didn't like it we could leave. He then proceeded to take our drinks, dump them down the drain, and tell us to leave. Classy place, not at all, I don't recommend going there unless you want to be treated like this. Horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible and I have never experienced such horrible service in my life anywhere. On the way out, after being told we could have her money back, the bouncer gave us a hard time to add to our horrible experience. read more

I went to dinner here once with some friends. While my friends think they wound up with an upset stomach after eating here, I experienced no such issues and had a nice tasting sausage sandwich and there was a decent selection of beers on tap. This restaurant was remodeled last year, and I went after the remodeling, so it's a bigger place than it probably was before. read more

JUST HORRIBLE - Unprofessional- Dirty - Abusive Can't imagine anyone wanting to come here after what Ive seen and heard from the staff and owner during my past few visits. Went one night and saw the most god-awful kareoke session - with the hosts ": friends" getting up twice as much as other patrons, him turning the voices down of patrons and turning himself up high. The place was filthy and smelled horribly of stale booze and grease. The tables werent cleaned and the staff were nonchalant and " unavailable" My dealings with the newer owner were less than stellar, and he tried to insult and intimidate his way around the obvious facts of the matter. Nice friendly neighborhood bar with better than average pub fare. It's worth the drive from home just to get the 'afterburner' chicken wings. They are that good. The food is fresh and made to order, so be patient. You can also catch live music, with their open mike night or local bands. It's great to find a place with good food that also supports local music. read more
