I hate to do this as it used to be a place I love but had a HORRIBLE experience last night and won't be back. After leaving a horrible car dealer experience for 2 hours we were starving and stopped by around 8:30 and it was not crowded. We were seated right away and our server was very friendly. We ordered apps and our meals and then the wheels came off. After about 40 mins our apps came out and they were decent. Then we waited and waited and no food. Finally around 10:00 I asked our waitress if our food wasn't close to being out we were leaving. She came out and said it's going to be a while!!!! What a waste of time! If you have staffing issues I get it but tell us up front and we would never had stayed. So we all went home hungry! We won't be back. read more

Food is amazing, place is very clean for a bar, entertainment is epic, but they have some odd rules about splitting up bills and have had some mildly uncomfortable management interactions while waiting (a reasonable amount of time) for the rest of my party - after calling ahead to basically make reservations, was treated like we were a huge inconvenience (6 people). Don't let this comment deter you from the awesome food though. Try the Cajun chicken and ask for tiger sauce! read more

We visited TJ's twice over Cinco de Mayo weekend. My sister and future brother in law are regulars here, so they recommended the loaded fries. Waffle fries smothered in cheese and covered in bacon with a side of sour cream for dipping. It was the same concept as a potato skin, but waffle fries were way more satisfying! On the first day, I chose the buffalo chicken salad. I was not expecting the salad to be so big, and I barely got through half of it before having to admit defeat. Even at mild, the chicken was a bit too buffalo-y for my taste, but it mixed well with the fresh green spinach and Home-made bleu cheese dressing. The second day I just stuck to the loaded fries and a margarita. My sisters friends ordered chicken tenders, chicken tacos, and chicken quesadillas so I was able to sample those. The tenders were great. Warm and crispy, exactly how bar food should be. The quesadillas, too, were warm and cheesey and went well with the Home-made southwest ranch dressing. I wasn't impressed by the tacos. The mozzarella sticks had a perfect, long, warm, gooey string of cheese. Definitely love at first bite. The food was perfect bar food. Home made and deep fried. The margaritas were disappointing, and most of us switched to cocktails and beer on cinco de mayo which wasn't as fun as it could have been. read more

This is a fun place - Good service, good food, and a laid back atmosphere. They focus on comfort foods and large portions - be prepared to eat and bring some home for later. I do recommend following them on social media to get a heads up on the daily specials because they are delicious! Soups, burgers, steaks, ect ... great variety if you come here often. For people that like wings I highly recommend the afterburner wings, which are fried and then baked. I personally like my wings well-done and crispy, the afterburners are my go-to. I can also suggest trying out their penne alla vodka, which has a great flavor and one of the biggest portions I've seen. Add chicken or meatballs to bring it home! Always great food! The turkey Reuben and the after burner wings were delicious! Drink selection is good and not too expensive. Walked into a busy Friday night, we were seated with in 3-4 minutes. Our server was attentive with a good attitude. She was busy but didn't miss a beat when our drinks were almost empty she was right there to see if we wanted more. Will be going back and making this one of our go to's. We didn't stay for the karaoke. Good place to meet friends and hangout, they have a bunch of larger tables . Good place to have a date night as well. It's a casual bar/restaurant setting. Would definitely recommend going here. Really should be 4 1/2 stars. Been there twice with people. The service was fast and right and that was on busy Saturdays. We were in a hurry both times to see hockey games next door and they were great. I was a bit of a pain because I needed to find out if the wings were breaded (they are not) so I have the server check and she did it quickly and cheerfully. I tried the regular and afterburner wings. The normal wings were right in the zone- crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. I wasn't totally into the afterburner wings which is a specialty of theirs where they broil them, but everyone else we were with liked them. The crispy chicken sandwich is also cooked perfectly - my wife got it both times. Salads were great - the steak blue salad was terrific, the tomatoes were ripe and fresh - not always easy to find this time of year, but I appreciated it. The steak was cooked just right. Their homemade blue cheese dressing is very good (and I'm picky.) My only tiny complaint was the first time we sat at the bar and ate and the bill wasn't itemized, but when we got a table the next time it was so no big deal. My husband got the meatatarian pizza and it was loaded with yummy pepperoni, sausage, salami, bacon and ham. I got the garlicky steak panini. TJ's is a decent little community bar. The food is good, hot and always tastes fresh and has overall great taste. Service is typically friendly and attentive. My problem with TJ's is that they offer a very limited menu, and don't seem to change it up often, their portions are pretty standard for the food service so no complaints there. My last and only real gripe is that they advertise as a "Pub" so you'd think they have a decent selection of beers, Domestic, Imports, maybe some craft (I acknowledge they aren't a brewery) but their selection is pretty bottom of the barrel. You have your big name domestic like Coors and Bud, they have the shock top and other local brews but mainly Ale and IPA, if you're looking for a sour beer stay clear. Their mixed drinks are also very limited, typical Coconut Rum and pineapple juice style drinks, or a Schnapps mixed with a light liquor for the fruity drink lovers, but overall their selection is pretty sucky. Not much drink options for those looking to have a good one with dinner. Summary: Good food, fresh food. A little pricy for what you get for portioning. Crappy drink selections. The inimitable T.J.'s Flight Line Pub: When I first stopped in and even after a few more visits, I was singing the praises of this place. Good food, great burgers, the cheese and bacon waffle fries to die for. Then all of a sudden I stop in to a really crappy meal. They've changed to a cheaper, nacho-style cheese on the waffle fries rather than the shredded cheddar. I had to special request the cheddar and that seemed to rankle the waitress. Their Black and Blue burger used to come encrusted with Cajun spices and was wonderful, so hot and spicy! This time there was barely any spice applied and after mentioning to the waitress/bartender that it was bereft of spice, she told me that the cook said that he had put plenty on. Really!? Very disappointing. The owner, T.J., stopped at the table, looked at the burger and agreed with me that there was not enough spice. He did ask if I'd like another, which I declined because at this point, we were all pretty well done with out meals. What he should have done was comp at least part of the cost of the burger but instead I ended up paying full-price for a meal that I only half ate. Very lame. It seems as if they are starting to get cheap with their ingredients already and the attitude is "I could care less, I really don't need your business". Does the waitress want folks to keep their mouths shut, tip crappy and not come back or does she want honest folks that tell her how it is, and tip well for good service and food? I had high hopes for this place and told everyone how good it was. Now I find myself feeling pretty put out, mostly by the attitudes. In a conversation with my wife soon after, T.J. told her that the waitress thought I was a "whiner" and that he didn't need my business. That's a nice thing to say of a customer that used to sing your praises and bring you business! Well, if you don't need me, I sure as hell don't need you T.J.! Rest assured that I'll be putting out the word to stay away! There you have it folks, if you voice a complaint or the bartender/waitress thinks you're a whiner, they just don't need your business. What this guy really needs is the business acumen of his father. I am not sure where these bad reviews are from, but then again most people don't go online to write about their good experiences at restaurants, they only share their bad. Therefore I will right about what MOST people experience at the Flight Line. I have have never had a bad experience here. I have gone well over two dozen times, and almost always have a great time. The mixed drinks aren't cheap, but aren't crazy expensive either. The beer selection is good (6 drafts, but they are adding 6 more) and a ton of bottled beer. They have specials each night of the week and during football season. The place was recently expanded to make room for the increasing number of people that go here (especially for Thursday Trivia!). It is a great place to go with a group of people and a lot of times they have either live music or karaoke (which actually isn't bad, especially when Lenny sings!). The food is outstanding. The pizza is awesome and comes a variety of ways. In addition, they have a variety of good salads. The best thing by far is their afterburner wings. They are first fried for half of the time, then taken out, tossed in hot sauce, and baked for the remainder of the time. They take a little but longer to come out, but are definitely worth the wait. Also, the homemade blue cheese dressing they come with is great. I recommend everyone try the Flightline at least once, it is a great place to grab a quick bite, or hang for the night and drink with friends. read more

We just moved to the area. We came one afternoon and had burgers BYOB (cheese plus 3 toppings) for 9.99. We had cheddar, sautéed onions and mushrooms, and lettuce. The toppings were generous. They were very good. It seems like a classic neighborhood/local kind of place. We came again one evening and ordered the same burger. The toppings were less than generous. The burgers were good but not very good. This time the burger was $11.50. When the bill came we inquired about the 1.50 added to the charge, that had no description. They have paper handwritten checks and no POS system, so it seems up to the server what they charge you for any meal. We were informed it was for the onions and mushrooms. I noted the inconsistency between our first visit and this visit (only two days apart), and then we sat for several minutes while our server went to inquire/confirm the charges. I really enjoyed our first visit. Our second visit we left feeling sour. It wasn't about 1.50 - which is really a minor amount of money, though 15 % is actually not a small percentage. It was about the run around and the inconsistency... like you don't know what you're going to get or or pay. Consistency is extremely important in restaurants. read more

The burger was good, but had a fair amount of heat. No mention of heat on menu. The Soup and ale were good too. But, the service was better than passable and less than good.
