So the wife and I double dated with our linebacker son and his captain of the cheerleading team girlfriend after the first game of the year. We drinks (me and the wife) some apps and some entrees. Everything was really good. Service was excellent and 10 out of 10 would recommend this place to all. And it's good for families as well. Ps it was a Friday and they had karaoke which was pretty entertaining.

Basic pub fare - average prices. Had a calamari special --Sicilian calamari with banana peppers and white wine butter sauce--great spice flavor and battered well but a bit too heavy on the butter. Also had a buffalo chicken pizza- had good pizza flavor minus the chicken patty cutlet. Service was attentive and friendly and lots of tvs for watching sports.

The beer was as cold as my wife's black heart, the service was prompt and friendly and the food was good. What more can I say? I will return.

We visited TJ's twice over Cinco de Mayo weekend. My sister and future brother in law are regulars here, so they recommended the loaded fries. Waffle fries smothered in cheese and covered in bacon with a side of sour cream for dipping. It was the same concept as a potato skin, but waffle fries were way more satisfying! On the first day, I chose the buffalo chicken salad. I was not expecting the salad to be so big, and I barely got through half of it before having to admit defeat. Even at mild, the chicken was a bit too buffalo-y for my taste, but it mixed well with the fresh green spinach and Home-made bleu cheese dressing. The second day I just stuck to the loaded fries and a margarita. My sisters friends ordered chicken tenders, chicken tacos, and chicken quesadillas so I was able to sample those. The tenders were great. Warm and crispy, exactly how bar food should be. The quesadillas, too, were warm and cheesey and went well with the Home-made southwest ranch dressing. I wasn't impressed by the tacos. The mozzarella sticks had a perfect, long, warm, gooey string of cheese. Definitely love at first bite. The food was perfect bar food. Home made and deep fried. The margaritas were disappointing, and most of us switched to cocktails and beer on cinco de mayo which wasn't as fun as it could have been.

This is a fun place - Good service, good food, and a laid back atmosphere. They focus on comfort foods and large portions - be prepared to eat and bring some home for later. I do recommend following them on social media to get a heads up on the daily specials because they are delicious! Soups, burgers, steaks, ect ... great variety if you come here often. For people that like wings I highly recommend the afterburner wings, which are fried and then baked. I personally like my wings well-done and crispy, the afterburners are my go-to. I can also suggest trying out their penne alla vodka, which has a great flavor and one of the biggest portions I've seen. Add chicken or meatballs to bring it home! Great place to come for sport games as they have TV's everywhere and the bartenders don't mind changing the channel to whatever you would like to see. Excellent location for NFL Sundays :)

It's a typical pub with pub food. They have specials each day. Pretty standard. They have TVs. There are high top tables and standard ones.

They even serve drinks in plastic cups. The parking lot is very small. There is a beer garden in the back. When you walk in, there is no hostess and you have to figure it out on your own. Grab any table you want, make your way to the bar, try to get the bartender's attention, order your food and get one of the flashing disc pagers. When it buzzes, go to the pick-up window to get your food. I got what I thought was going to be fish sandwich, but was mistaken as I hadn't read the menu description carefully enough. It turned out to an entire fried fish. Who eats this much fried fish?! It was like the Cheesecake Factory version of fried fish. Furthermore, this thing was so overly fried, there was a very thick shell of fried 'something' surrounding the fish. Now, to be fair, once I chipped away the fried exterior, the fish was pretty good. The coleslaw was in a tiny cup, sad and drowning in mayo. Plan for the food to take 15 minutes to come out (and this was a not very crowded weekday night).

If you're a seafood lover, they do a great job with their seafood dishes. The table next to us ordered shepherds pie and it looked and smelled amazing, I could hear them raving about it. We started with the seafood stuffed mushrooms, and we're starving so forget to take a picture. The portion was generous and plenty for 2-3 people to share. I ordered the seafood boil which was a special and it was so flavorful, loaded with garlic and a side of drawn butter. Back in the day they would have pizza brought over from their pizza shop across the street bud the pie was good. Fast forward to our trip this year. It was our 19th year wedding anniversary and the wife and I were looking to try something new. The pictures from the food looked great so I figured this was worth a shot. Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly and the bartender and waitress were both warm, friendly, and it was all very natural like we just walked into there home. The place is decked out in craft Irish stuff but it was just at patty's the week before we had gone but I imagine that is a typical look there. We both had a dirty martini which was made very well and the waitress served them table side with the remainder left in the glass fir us to pour ourselves. Very nice touch! We had scallops wrapped in bacon and a French onion soup as an app. Both were good but the soup was a bit cold so we asked to have it warmed up. The staff handled it well they didn't make a huge deal and just got us a nice hot soup with no excuses or rambling on about this "this never happens" or "staffing issues". On to dinner. I had the steak Au Poivre with mashed and veg. All of it was done well and the portion was perfect. The wife had chicken piccata which had a great egg batter on it and a nice white wine butter sauce. We also ordered some Togo meals for the kids and they enjoyed them as well. They had boneless wings, a burger, and a chicken parm sub. I would definitely recommend this place for a medium priced dinner and drinks. Very friendly staff and the place was super clean and well put together. We will be going back!
