Sitting there next customer walked in... same ol pony show gave him the same amount and he was financing. I will never purcahse another thing from Trailer Plus after my interactions. The team are liars, right to your face. They cold call people like bill collectors, you can drive any direction and the price changes with the wind Colorado to Texas to Utah the prices are all over the place and the ones in Utah/Idaho didnt want to make a deal, and 2/3 employees you talk to have an attitude problem. I think my next steps are to file a negative BBB complaint so that my concerns are formalized beyond Yelp, then take to google reviews and elsewhere. I called to inquire about the specs/price and thanked them for the information. Within 20 minutes, a salesman named Craig Salma called me and did everything short of badgering me to buy. I told him I'd decided I wasn't comfortable with purchasing from a location that was over an hour away to which he began to extol the virtues of his customer service capabilities. I relented and had the product picked up by a friend who lived near the Ogden store in question. $1800 cash payment later, I would begin the worst customer service experience I've had to date. Upon arrival and inspection I noticed the latch to close the ramp wasn't welded on 2 of its four points. I contacted Craig immediately (within 2 hours) of pickup including the 1 hour drive time) and didn't hear back until the following day. As it was the middle of the work week I was unable to get the trailer back to them for repair and he was unwilling to have it picked up. Asking about a refund, he denied any option to do so. After several days of emails and phone calls where the words "Company Policy" and "beyond our control" was repeated, I ultimately convinced them to allow me to take it to a location 30 mins from my work ( requiring me to after take time off). The repair was done satisfactorily by the alternate location but at much expense to me in terms of time and money. In short: 1. The service is bad 2. Lip service is abundant 3. Product is not QA'd as it should 4. Warranty is on your dime and your time, 100%. If this is truly company policy, and not this salesman's shortfalls as a professional then the company should shut down. This is truly an instance that once they have your money, they make you squirm to get any level of service on a 2 hour old product. Craig continued to pat himself on the back for his efforts in the resolution via email but it was I who made all of the efforts in time, money and overall expense that made the product whole. Insult to injury? After 1.5 years, this trailer has another broken weld on a crossmember that bears no direct load from what's being hauled. Bad QA and a salty, salty lesson learned the hard way regarding Trailers Plus service, product and integrity. Seriously, avoid.

Once he took a look at it he said it needed a new hitch and he could have it done by early afternoon. He went and got the parts and welded a new hitch on just like he said. He got us back on the road quickly as we were just passing through Sandy on a road trip. Very impressed. The new hitch is heavy duty and has worked flawlessly. They explained the pricing as follows: $75 deposit to confirm the visit, and a $175 flat fee for the first diagnostic hour -- which would only be charged if no repair was done. If a repair proceeded, that $175 would be fully applied to the repair cost. I paid the deposit and scheduled the visit in good faith. At the appointment, the mechanic -- Tyler, who also identified himself as the co-owner and said his father Jeff was his partner -- showed up clearly inexperienced. Per his own words, he had been fired on the spot from his previous mechanic job. He had no idea how to diagnose the issue. Instead, he fumbled around, calling friends and his dad, and flipping through the manual. This, after I was assured over the phone that they were qualified for this exact issue. When I asked what was going on, Tyler admitted: "I can't figure it out. I'll refund you the $75 because I can't fix it." But he didn't just fail -- he left my boat in worse condition than when he arrived, with tampered and potentially damaged electrical systems. I'm now considering legal action for financial loss and emotional stress. Then came the final insult: they sent me a $750 invoice -- despite Tyler's clear promise not to charge me and to refund the deposit. I followed up and spoke with him again. He told me he'd "have accounting reach out to fix it," but no one ever followed up. After more ignored calls, I finally reached someone by phone -- whom I believe was Jeff, based on what Tyler told me (that Jeff is his father and co-owner). That person told me they would take me to court if I didn't pay. This company misrepresented their capabilities, broke their word, possibly damaged my boat, and tried to bill me for hundreds of dollars after delivering no legitimate service. Stay far away from this business. What I experienced wasn't just incompetence -- it was deceptive, disorganized, and potentially predatory.

Space was limited so I had to get a 1/0 AWG cable exactly 4.5" center to center with 5/16" lug holes, and the lug holes have to be offset by 90°. Austin (service manager) handled the request. In a few minutes he returned with a perfectly crafted wire. Perfect length center to center, geometry, etc. So many shops struggle with these kinds of wiring requests. I only had to describe it once and he hit it out of the park! I highly recommend this place, they are expert craftsmen.
