Worst TJ Maxx I've ever been to. Dirty, employees, long wait on line. Nothing good, pieces missing from Kids' toys etc. Stay away!

Unprofessional staff, Not to mention, unprofessionally, dressed. Cashier rolled her eyes at my return like she couldn't be bothered.

This TjMaxx can be a hit or miss. I usually stop by when I'm in the area to look at the home decor. I've purchased some good finds during past visits. Other times some of the isles can have bare shelves. read more

I don't really like spending too much money on clothes so occasionally I would head to TjMaxx to see what they have. The clothes and shoes are alright but finding the right size is a bit tricky. However, every so often you will strike gold. My best find was a pair of Adidas Superstars for only 25 dollars in almost new condition. Overall, the price is great and sometimes you can find pretty stylish outfits for almost rock bottom prices. Definitely worth stopping by every so often to see what they have. read more

I would say the store is pretty clean and organized. Service didn't exist though. They didn't speak or anything. So, I haven't been to a TjMaxx since I was a young girl. I pretty much forgot what it was about. On my way back home from Kenilworth, I decided to take a detour ( reason 1 because I was bored and reason 2 I actually did need to pick up a couple of pieces for an upcoming trip) and head into TjMaxx. As I am looking at the past reviews of this place, I must have made it on a day where they fully restocked the store because I scored a whole bunch of pieces. Good quality sweaters were well priced. Sure, the store usually has whats considered "last season" items but I am not one who chases after trends. My ultimate goal is to buy good practical and functional clothing so yes I was elated to find a wonderfully made olive green Michael Kors sweater, a very nice dark blue Lucky brand jeans and so many other key wardrobe pieces. Since then I have been to TjMaxx two or three times and for someone who is not a fan of shopping, I actually enjoy taking the time to find exceptional pieces at this store. I can see how it can be a hit or miss for some people. The store is decently arranged but the racks of clothing are not spread far out where two to three people can feel comfortable. That can get overwhelming and annoying, especially if the customer drags in a clunky cart with them. Also there really is no rhyme or pattern to how clothes are arranged. The store may have three copies of a sweater but they are not on the same rack...I dont know, though...perhaps a customer did that. Overall, it's really a great store with great deals. I can not speak to customer service outside the fact that there is a good system with a television that advises which cashier is available (think Union Square, NYC Whole Foods). If youre coming though, you definitely have to have an open mind and not have a specific item youre looking for (i.e. "ooh I need a leopard print pencil skirt with a black peplum top to go with it..yasss #jerseystyle"). You will set yourself up for disappointment. Instead be open to finding great pieces that will enhance your wardrobe and closet. Cheers! read more

This is a good store for people who wear size 12 and under. If you are a plus size, go to Boscov's or Macy's. You won't find anything to fit you at tj Maxx. They do have an excellent assortment of handbags, however. read more

I wouldn't even give a rating, very rude and unprofessional, I was browsing through the hair products and the announcement came on that they were closing in five minutes so if you're purchasing anything to go to the register because they were shutting everything down I was just looking to see what brands they had because I was looking for specific things I asked the sales associate if it was OK for me to keep looking since the store was closing in five minutes but I was not purchasing anything so I did not need the register I just needed to look a little bit more at the hair products because I needed a certain one and everything was all jumbled and a mess so I was sorting through them I was told I was not allowed to be in the store anymore even though they were open she kept saying they're closing the register in five minutes so you don't have anymore time to shop I said I was not shopping I was just looking because I need a specific hair product do you know if they have it she said look around maybe you'll find it and I was like OK well is it OK if I stay in look for the next five minutes since I won't be using the register and she said no, disgusted with the customer service I wouldn't even send my dog in there. Three stars for messiness but you can't beat the deals. You just have to go on the right days when all the merchandise are restocked. I was able to score on some clothes for my son at a good deal. read more

I've visited this TJMaxx for the 1st time and it was just ok. My friend recommended I come here because I was looking for a new dress. There was only 2 salespeople on the floor and I was just really surprised. The store was also a little messy but if you are just going for something quick then I would say go for it. read more
