I contacted customer service through chat and later by phone. The representatives I spoke with were Reginne (chat) and Liz (phone). The first solution offered was a refund in 10 business days. When I explained that I paid with a gift card, they said the refund could take 3 business days instead. The problem is that I needed the items that night, not days later. What made the situation even more frustrating: if I placed a new order, the website showed the same items could arrive in about 30 minutes. When I pointed this out, the representative suggested that I could place another order--which meant paying again for the same items. So the end result was: * I paid for expedited delivery * No delivery attempt was made * The only solutions offered were wait for a refund or pay again Unfortunately, this experience makes Walmart delivery difficult to rely on. I've had far more consistent experiences with Target, Amazon, and other delivery services.

Many other errands came be completed here as the plaza includes a couple places to eat, Marshalls for clothes and household, Great Clips for haircuts, Best Buy for Electronics, Thrift Store for deals, Dollar Tree for the cheap needs and more. If you can't find what you need, Route 22 awaits where everything else you could want is out there. Of course beware of weekends as everyone comes out. Best thing about this shopping center is also the back access from Liberty Ave./Morris Ave. so Route 22 isn't even necessary as that itself is often filled with traffic. Yup Union Plaza is great.

With that digging through the surplus of items they seem to have on hand at a decent price is not too bad. I usually come here for soaps and household type stuff that's decent quality and priced, especially if it's on the manager's special rack. With that, the clothes section for guys is pretty good. Again as this is my preferred Marshalls, there is pretty sizable amount of Men's clothes here which is good if is decent priced but a cut above say going to Target or Wal-mart. Like Many other Discount stores, such another I frequent - Forman Mills, they have this practice of only a few registers going so lines enter into the 10's and it though it moves steadily, it could be faster. Also, to me, it seems to be better inventory stock than other Targets; the app usually recommends the Route 22 as a nearby location that has what I'm looking for. Target staff who bring out drive-up orders have always been friendly, too. The only con is driving here, but once you get into the lot, there's ample parking.

This unprofessional guy showed up with his daughter or something, told us we needed to pay $140+ because of the stairs. We only had $100 cash, and told him the lady told me $100. He called the lady for her to tell me what she thought our conversation was... as if to solidify that was correct? He acted all tough and so ghetto and we didn't want any problems so my husband told him he'd need to go to ATM after. This guy and this little girl hoists the sofa up, and then tells us they can't fit the couch in. I told my husband to make sure they try the most optimal angle. and I over hear him on the phone telling my husband that he already knows what I am saying and he knows better. He then hurries my husband and tell him it's NYE and he's not even supposed to be working and he has a long drive. How is that our problem that you decided to work and drive long on NYE? He told us he'd leave the couch outside for $100 flat or he can take it back to the store but still pay him the $140+. He insinuated he's doing us a favor and that he's losing out. And my husband rightfully told him that isn't the case because he's getting $140+ while we don't get any services rendered/no couch. He was very aggressive towards my husband. My husband told him he needs to go to ATM, and the guy told him he will follow him to the bank with his truck because he doesn't know what stunt my husband would pull on him. A week later, I come back home, and we bought the same couch from a different Big Lot's location... guess what? We were able to maneuver the couch inside the home ourselves, just with logic, physics, and common sense. This was the most unprofessional ghetto conversation we've ever had from any servicing or trucking company.

They have huge sections of clothes (women/men/children), shoes, housewares, small appliances, media (video/music/books), toys, games, and even a small section with furniture. The prices are MUCH better than what I had recently seen at a different store. They do have a parking lot, which gets fairly busy, but I've always found a space. To drop off items for donation, you can just bring you car to the front of the shop, and there are large plastic bins where you can place your items. There is usually an employee there who can advise you, and can also give you a slip to fill out for tax deductions. Tip - If you do drop off items for donation, they have been giving out coupons you can use in the store too. We were able to get an additional 20% off this way!

Ahh, this strip mall has been around for a really long time, even longer before I was born in the…read moreextreme early 90s. When I was a little toddler in Garwood, my dad would take me out here just to walk around. There was an "open space" area with visible steel structures where I used to just run around briefly during those times. Today, that "open space" is still there. This strip mall has two anchor stores. Since the early 90s, those anchor stores were Walgreens and Kings. During the 90s, they had some other notable stores that I remember either going into or passed by when I was little. Those stores included Radio Shack, Encore Books (I bet a lot of you during those times remember this store!), Dress Barn, an Eye DR place, a liquor store, and a laundromat. The roof tops on the strip mall were green, and some green circles were visible on some parts of the strip mall as well. The parking lot is huge, and reasonably sized for all of the patrons here. The parking lot is also for patrons only, since they don't like commuters parking for the purpose of boarding trains. In the 90s, the parking area revealed a lot of old, faded parking stripes and designs, which proved that the parking layout was different long before I existed. But fast forward to today, the old parking decals are long gone, and the lot itself is quite smoother than before. Today, the stores that are still in business since the 90s include Kings, Dress Barn, an Eye Dr place (with different name), and a laundromat. Encore Books was gone and the space was probably taken over by Pet Valu. Walgreens moved further down the road, and Crunch Fitness took their former spot, thus making them an anchor. The liquor store got replaced by GNC. The steel structures were covered up in the "open space" area. The roof tops are still green today, as well as the circles, except for the one circle on top of Investors Bank. Not sure why that was painted with a different color. Overall, this strip mall serves the purpose of catering to the patrons in a very small town. I've never had an issue with parking here at all. Walking from one end of the strip mall to the other is pleasant. But be patient when trying to make a left turn into the strip mall from South Avenue as the opposing traffic can be very hectic at times. Cheers!

My kid and I stopped by on a weekend and were met by various different items "secured" behind transparent plastic and no employees around to help. Even more surprising was the missing call button to call someone. The time and aggravation just aren't worth it, especially since Target already wasn't the best value option. It'll be a while until we return.
