Additionally, if you're lucky enough to find some clearance prices, well that's icing on the cake. Granted, the store looks disorganized and can look messy at times, but it's a bargain hunt to find something you like. I don't mind searching if I have the time. I've been in retail so I know all about customers leaving carts, not picking up something they dropped, walking over merchandise or setting things down wherever. It's frustrating and I give credit to anyone working here because it's not as easy as it appears. The cashier at checkout was super friendly and that makes a huge difference because it's your last interaction as you leave the store. But anyways, since they have a little bit of everything and a lot of clothes, chances are you'll find something you want or need or didn't think you needed until you saw it. Good deals are waiting..... For this type of discount store and comparing it to similar stores like this, it's between a 3 and 4 but I'll give it a 4 since I know the retail battle.

Also seen other patrons walking around with a cart full of merchandise and discarding what they do not want any old place . I am sure the employees work very hard to clean and keep the store as tidy as possible and the store should not be judged by who works there but how rude some customers are.

This store is nicely organized with many departments such as Women's, Men's, Children's and Accessories. There are easy to read signs along with great lighting and dressing rooms to try on clothes. I found my t-shirts on sale instead of a regular price of $14.99 for an affordable price of $7.50. (photos attached) 1 shirt "Happy Hour" and 1 shirt with a Peace Sign. ( Love that symbol) I walked over to the Men's department and found a clearance shirt on sale for $5.99 with a great photo on the front being All of guys from the "Avengers". My last stop before check out was to the children's clearance section. I was happy to find a boys size 4 toddler shirt with the Detroit Red Wings logo on it for my great nephew to wear for hockey season. The sale price was $ 5.99 My final purchase was a oneies size 12 months, for my other great nephew on clearance for $6.00. My total savings on 6 items according to the bottom on my receipt list was a savings of $19.00. I noticed while in line waiting to check out, areas of last minute inexpensive gifts, And E.l.F makeup, or phone accessories. Overall: I had a successful shopping "Summer Clearance" experience, by looking through many styles and deals of merchandise. If you are on a budget stop in here to check out some good quality merchandise and clothing. NOTE: On the bottom of your receipt is an area to complete a survey within 5 days from the date of your purchase to receive 10% off on your next in store or online purchase at Old Navy. That sounds like a way to keep one back in the store to spend more cash! :)

The sweater is so cozy and I love the fall shades of colors in it! The cow print vest is very comfortable and will be perfect as the temperatures continue to drop! Some of the clothing can be expensive, but not any more then other places. The service here is great, and we've never had a problem. Each department has their own staff and there's always someone around. They also offer gift wrapping upstairs, and have a charge card that doesn't charge any interest. We found this location yesterday on our way home from Partridge Creek and decided to stop in to look around. This is a nice location and the individuals here are extremely friendly and helpful, anxious to assist us and talk to us all about the place. While to me the clothing is a bit pricey, they had a massive amount of sale item racks plus an extra 25% off the entire store which made it very enticing. Their clothing does have a reputation to be quality and long lasting so we bought a couple pairs of leggings to start and a shirt for my husband. We will see if their items live us to their claims and I will probably look there again in the future for more clothing. While the style is on the plain and simple side, they have a lot of cute stuff and nice basics.

I've shopped at Value World many times and there are definitely some positives worth mentioning…read more The staff I've interacted with have always been very friendly and knowledgeable, and I really appreciate the promotions and discounts they offer on a regular basis. When things are running smoothly, you can find some good deals. That said, I'm increasingly disappointed with a few things. During promotions, the store is clearly understaffed, and the lines become excessively long for everyone. It turns what should be a fun, bargain-hunting trip into a frustrating experience. I was also told by a staff member that they are instructed to look up every item online before pricing it and putting it on the floor. That approach might make sense from a business standpoint, but it takes away from the feeling that you're getting a fair "thrift store" deal and can really slow down the process of getting items out for customers. What bothers me most, though, is learning that this is a for-profit-only company that doesn't appear to represent any cause or give back to the community. There are donation bins in front of the store, but there's no clear indication that those donations go to a good cause or help people in need. In contrast, many other resale and thrift stores are transparent about supporting local charities, community programs, or people in need. It's disappointing that Value World doesn't seem to do the same, especially when they rely on donations and present themselves in a way that can easily be mistaken for a charitable thrift store.
