I have been shopping at Kohl's since childhood, so it been a staple department store. Kohl's has a Yes 2 Rewards program which gives you one point for each dollar you spend. Yes 2 Rewards gives Kohl's cash and you can use that on anything in the store including clearance items. Kohl's generally has really good prices and brands. Returns are easy to make and purchasing items online with the option to pick up at the store is definitely a nice feature. Customer service has continued to remain friendly throughout the years. And you cannot beat getting some Kohl's Cash to spend on your next shopping trip. read more

Matt the manager is horrible with a nasty attitude and it took a lot of self control to deal with this unprofessional loser. I was returning a pair of jeans that had the same tags that was on it when they sold it to me. It had the original and sale price.They had the exact pair of jeans in store with guess what no scanning code like mine so obviously it was sold to me like that. I asked how would you sale this pair of jeans instore if there was no scanning code. Matt was being so rude saying that's not the problem. The problem is that they are ringing up other items around the same price but not making tags in case of a return. Does anyone at Kohl's ever look like they're enjoying their job? The employees here never have a smile on their face or a good attitude. Picking up an online order inside?? Employee huffs as they walk to the back to get the product. Returning an item for Amazon? Rolls their eyes at you. These comments are from multiple trips to this location, over the course of a year. The only thing keeping me coming back is Kohl's cash and cute home decor. I like that you get $5 Kohl's cash for an Amazon return. I use an electric scooter and I cannot get around in this Kohl's or any Kohl's for that matter. Their rows and racks are much too close. I was trying to navigate the shoe department recently and an an employee came up to me with a rolling trash can and told me she needed to get through to "do her job". I told her that there was not room for me to back up. She went into an aisle, looked around the edge and said, "Come through then. I need to do my job!" When I spoke to a manager, she said she would "write an email or something". I wrote to cooperate to complain and I received a response all about their policy of having their aisles 36 inches apart. That is a laugh. They did not apologize to me or even address the employee's conduct. In this day and age when so many companies are going out of business, Kohl's had better step up their game. I used Koh's cash for the order and was told that the Kohl's cash would be back in my account in72 hours , it was not there today, March 25th. I called the store and someone answered "hello"...really? I was passed to a manager and she told me I had to call kohls.com, and when she paused after telling me that I asked for the phone number, her abrupt reply was "I'm getting it for you." The store is usually well stocked but laid out kind of weird. The men's clothing is spread out all over. But it's workable. The problem is cashier. Never enough, always too slow. It wouldn't be quite so bad if they didn't push their credit card and programs when you've got a line half way through the store. read more

My opinion of Kohl's is that it's a great place to purchase something , but not a great place to take it back. The lines are always long at the customer service counter. This is the Kohl's attached to Macomb Mall. Love this location - great selection of merchandise, store is very clean. Employees are really helpful, especially in the shoe department. The only thing I don't like - the new sale signs. They are digital and very hard to see. You have to stand at a certain angle or it's just a black square. This is a great Kohl's. They always have a good selection of merchandise and there's always a sale going on. The customer service staff is usually quick and efficient when returning or exchanging. It's not as crowded as the Lakeside store either. read more

A great store! It was clean, the clothes were organized and folded up, and there was a good selection. I have been a Macy's and Lord and Taylor guy forever, but have decided that over priced clothes aren't a priority. Plus Macy's always seemed like kind of a mess and smelled like a cloud of cologn. I came here only to return two shirts that I bought online that didn't fit. The other 8 shirts and 4 pairs of shorts fit well. The customer service line was very long, about 10 people deep. There was one lady there that I think was returning her entire closet. She probably got buzzed up and ordered a bunch of stuff that she realized she didn't want once it arrived. After awhile, they called for backup, and now there were 2 ladies working customer service counter instead of one. Once I got to the counter, I returned my shirts, and 80 seconds later I was gone. That lady is probably still there returning her crap as I speak. Nevertheless, I was very impressed with the store and the men's selection. read more

Extremely rude employees. Went in today and spent $1650. On my way out I was standing in line by the jewelry to get my watch resized. After the employee finished helping the customer in front of me she went over and started talking to two other employees. I waited for at least 15 to 20 minutes and she clearly saw me but did not seem to care to help me. On top of that when she finally did come over, she would not even resize my watch. I received great service yesterday at Kohls. Sherry went out of her way to help me return 3 t-shirts that I bought on Kohls.com even though I didn't have a receipt. A lot of companies would tell you to mail it back (I'm looking at you toys r us.). So kudos to Sherry for great customer service. This isn't about this particular Kohl's store in general but about their online service. In September 2013 I placed an order and qualified for $30 in "Kohl's Cash" that should've come by email. It didn't arrive after a week so I called the 800 number given to me by the customer service rep at the store. I called and talked to a person that didn't speak English very well at all. After A 20 minute conversation of him mostly just saying "Mrs. Riley" I was given a confirmation of our conversation and told I would receive an email in 48 hours. Never received that email (I know all about spam filters, adding addresses to lists of acceptable senders, etc). Although I was disappointed, I didn't want to spend another 20 minutes on the phone to a foreign land so I let it go. Fast forward to this past week. I placed an order on Kohl's.com and after 4 days STILL have not received my email with $40 Kohl's Cash. I called the 800 number again and this time can't even get a human being to answer the phone! They explicitly say they don't accept emails regarding online orders. Excuse me??? I'm so beyond fed up. As far as I'm concerned Kohl's owes me $60 and I'm not going to stop until I figure out how to get it! read more

The location of this store is great b/c it is connected to macomb mall but some of the employees are very rude at the customer service desk & cashiers. The lines are always very long at both, they need more cashiers. Every single month i go in here to buy my Kohls charge it's never an easy thing b/c there lines are long, the phone number on the back of my card is always telling me the line is busy. Went here today labor day to get mens wedding band. Girl beyond counter obviously upset she had to miss the barbeque. They are making time and half so could at least look a little happy. She had all she could do to acknowledge us and when she did was not friendly whatsoever. We obviously bothered her asking to look at rings. When asked if any sales going on she put her hand on that counter box that has prices and pushed it our way. could not answer question we got an "I dont know" response. Wanted to look at earrings but after that experience we just left and did what most people do; shopped on line. Wonder why these stores dont make sales and go out of business. This is reference to Kohls.com. They have the absolute worst method of shipping for any retailer on a timely basis. I placed an order on November 29 with a confirmation that I would receive it between Dec. 4 and Dec.11. This was a very large order of items that were to be donated to a local church for the needy in the area. I called Kohls.com on Dec.12 and was told it would arrive Dec.14. As of Dec.14 Fed Ex delivered orders from other retailers that were placed three days ago. Now I have a delivery date from Kohls of Dec.17. Three weeks is an unreasonable amount of time to wait for a delivery especially when their confirmation stated Dec. 4 - 11. This is not the first time this has happened with kohls.com. but it will be my last shopping experience with Kohls. I tried calling customer service and they were useless, misinformed and did nothing but talk in circles. read more
