I told her, don't worry because I will never purchase anything in this store ever again, especially since the jeans I bought stunk so bad. I was so disappointed and embarrassed.

Target December 7, 2025…read more (5/5) Visited Target and had an excellent experience. The store was clean, well-organized, and easy to move through. Everything was well-stocked, and the layout made shopping simple and stress-free. Staff were friendly and attentive, making the trip even more enjoyable. Checkout was efficient, and the overall atmosphere of the store was welcoming and positive. A great shopping experience from start to finish. They have a great selection of items at a fantastic value.

I had a target gift card to spend so obviously I figured "why not look for that thing I need at…read moretarget? I mean, I'm right here!" So I opened the app and searched for the folding table I was looking for. They had a few options. So, I walked into the store, with the exact shelf location of said item indicated in the mobile app. That's handy. I saw the options available to me, I touched and felt the items, and thought "yeah, this is perfect. I'll get it." THEN I looked at the price on the shelf. $39. - wait - that's $10 more than the app says it is. ...aaah! The item is $10 if you buy "online" (or with the app) So, here I am, holding the desired item in my hands, but with the opportunity to save 25% if I buy "online". Ok. I'll buy on the app and do store pickup. Annoying but that's $10 I can spend on AI tokens or lottery tickets (whichever my AI agent instructs me to do) So I order and pay for the item. Now I have to wait. And wait. And wait. Why oh why oh why can't I just take the item in my hands and pay the same price in the store as buying "online"? It's cheaper to take this same item, have a store associate look for it, stick it in the pickup storage, send me a text, and have me either come to the pickup line or wait in my car for this item right here in my hands?? What the hell kind of logic is that? I sat in the parking lot for almost 2 hours waiting to see how this would go. When I finally got the notification that it was ready, I went back into the store, interrupting my epic streak on my "Pawdoku" game to go to the pickup counter. The pickup counter? The customer service desk. Yep. Get in line buddy, behind all those people at the customer service desk. Another 15 minute wait. What a joke. Corporations beware: THIS is what happens when that CEO sets goals like "we want to shift 40% of our sales to our digital channels" or some dumb crap like that. The customer's actual experience that looks oh-so-good on paper and oh-so-good on the executive dashboard, goes right into the toilet and what do people remember? The product? The prices? No. The EXPERIENCE. Stop doing dumb stuff, Target. Think about customers and their actual experience, and stop having different prices for the exact same product that's sitting on the shelf as a "lure" to make those digital engagement numbers look good. You suck. ALERT TO UX people at Target!! - print this review out and do a customer journey map, starting with "customer touches and feels the item and decides they want to buy it for the price they saw on the app that led them into the store". And don't inject crap like "with increased customer dwell, they're more likely to buy convenience items and coffee" - NO. The customer is annoyed. Write that down. The customer doesn't want your coffee or your convenience items. He needs a god-damned folding table and to spend his gift card. Write that down too. There's a reason I only shop here when I'm holding a gift card. Awful. Anyways, I have a folding table now and lost several hours of my life and a badass "Pawdoku" streak.

There are more restaurants here than in your average shopping center. I haven't eaten at them all, but I am impressed with the variety. You got everything from Panda Express and Which Which to sushi and a Red Robin. That's a lot more variety than what's offered in a typical center. The location itself is convenient for running errands as on the other side of Dixon is the Target shopping center with more stores and restaurants. It's definitely possible to run all your errands in one intersection and I think that's a draw for a lot of people. I've been here a few times and still have only been to a handful of the many, many options here. The parking lot is large and the spaces are a normal size. However, there is so much traffic that it's pretty common for people to dart from other aisles and it can be a little on the dangerous side. The upside is that because the lot is so huge, it's never been completely full so you can usually see these problem drivers coming in time to react. This area is always, always busy so I can't really suggest a better or worse time of day. It still looks new though, Flower Mound does a great job of keeping up the area. It's worth checking out and you can make a day out of it if you're committed enough, lol. :)

However, I only…read morediscovered the weekend before my visit that Five Below was a discount store and not a kids clothing store, lol. Since we were in the shopping center running errands, we decided to stop by and get a couple of things we had been considering for stuff around the house. Upon walking in, the layout was pretty similar. To your left was party supplies, then greeting card, then technology items with games in the back corner. On the right is a majority of your fitness items, clothing and the back right corner is home decor and organization cubes. However, this location seemed quite a bit messier than the shiny location I had visited in Denton a week prior. Their seasonal display was completely empty, just a strange empty spot in the midst of all the clutter. Since we had visited on the same day of the week and roughly at the same time (Saturday at lunch time) as we had the other location, I'm taking a guess that this location is short staffed. I only saw one employee and she was working the register, which is 2 less than what I had seen in Denton. The employee was very friendly and quite cheerful for working by herself. I have no complaints on the service we received at all. I just hope they get her some help, because there were a lot of customers in the store at the time. As a store, this is still a neat concept. I'm always complaining to my husband about dollar stores that shouldn't be allowed to have the word 'dollar' in their name because most of the store is way more than that, lol. This on the other hand, lives up to its name with everything truly being $5 or less. I really like that this is the only discount chain, that I am aware of, that has fitness items. Yoga mats, balance boards, hand weights and many of the apparel and accessories that go with it. That's neat and it's a cheap way to try out a new activity without dropping a lot of cash in case you hate it. They even have skateboards there! Both times I've gone into a location, I've badly wanted to buy the squares to build your own fitness floor. I have no idea why, I wouldn't use it, but I want it, lol. I see this chain as a healthy mix of a place to get last minute items you forgot about (phone chargers, birthday cards, Tupperware, games to keep the kids busy) and a place that gives you ideas on things you didn't realize you needed (lots of storage options, home decor, nifty gadgets like lights for dark corners, a variety of travel accessories). In the ranks of the chain, this location is A-OK and it's worth checking out!
