But, this particular one has the capacity to carry a multitude of designs and sizes as well as some clothing and accessories so I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by not shopping online. The employees here are friendly and eager to help without being pushy. And, there are always plenty of them around so there isn't a long wait for assistance. As far as the shoes themselves, they are top notch. Seriously, they will endure all kinds of abuse yet somehow not show much wear and tear- as my child has demonstrated repeatedly! They may not be as flashy as some of the other brands of sneakers, especially when it comes to kids' styles, but personally, I would trade comfort and durability over looks any day. Of course this kind of quality does come at a price, however, not having to replace them frequently makes it worth the money.

The manager, Cynthia Westbrook told me she would not return the pair that I washed because she could not put them back on the sales floor. I told her she needed to damage them out because they stink! She refused to smell them and said no. I repeated again, they stink and no one needs to purchase them, they are damaged. Finally, she said she will return them this time but never again! I told her, don't worry because I will never purchase anything in this store ever again, especially since the jeans I bought stunk so bad. I was so disappointed and embarrassed.

I didn't inquire, I got mine from my doctor. They first they recommended a shoe that fits perfectly. I had to go back recently to replace it and sadly this particular model isn't manufactured any longer. They recommend another model of the same brand that has been working great though. On July 3, 2026, at around 1:00 p.m., my girlfriend and I visited the Cavender's location in Denton…read moreoff I-35 because I needed a straw hat for work. When we entered the store, we were greeted, which I appreciated. I then went to the hat bar, where only one employee, who I forgot his name but he had a blonde burst fade/mullet with a pencil thin mustache was assisting a family of four. There was no one else available to help customers waiting, so I spent quite a while digging through blank straw hats on my own trying to find one that met the requirements for my job. Once the employee finished helping the family, he came over and asked if I needed assistance. He was polite and patient while I explained exactly what I was looking for. However, instead of helping shape a blank hat, he repeatedly tried to sell me a low-cost store-brand hat that wasn't even close to what I needed professionally. When that didn't work, he asked another employee, Samuel, to help. Samuel asked what I was looking for, flipped through one stack of hats, and then walked away without offering any further assistance. At that point, I thanked them for their time and decided to shop elsewhere. Later that evening, around 7:00 p.m., my girlfriend and I returned so she could shop for T-shirts and help me pick out a few items she liked. We ended up spending over $100. While checking out around 8:00 p.m., my girlfriend overheard Samuel and the other employee with the blonde burst fade/mullet and the pencil thin mustache say, "Why are they back?" That comment was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. It wasn't just disrespectful to me--it made my girlfriend feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. No paying customer should have to overhear employees making comments about them. I understand Cavender's is a large retail chain and not a dedicated hat shop like Paris Hatters or Capital Hatters, but I still expected a higher level of professionalism and customer service. This experience was disappointing from start to finish. Between the lack of knowledgeable assistance, the pressure to buy something I didn't want, and the rude comment made behind our backs, I have no intention of returning to this location. If I could give this location zero stars, I absolutely would. I expected far better customer service and professionalism from a company with Cavender's reputation. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that standard, and I cannot recommend this store to anyone. If this causes yall any problems, I would be more than welcome to settle this with the two gentlemen that made the comment.
