So, my friend and I decided to start walking for exercise. I knew about this store from when I lived over there, so we off we went. The sales staff were absolutely fabulous! They checked our feet with a machine and has us try on shoes. My friend loved her choice. I loved mine, but after walking in the shoes for a couple of times, I found I didn't like them as much. I called and they said to bring them back and they'd help me out! They were great! They exchanged them for a hiking shoe I liked better. I also brought my hubby here for good shoes to be on his feet all day, and they-once again-satisfied! Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and humorous folks made my shopping experience worth buying shoes here for. I plan to be back again! read more

I was looking forward to getting some new tennis shoes because of my back problems. I went into the store and the owner and his employee were standing at the register. I noticed that they did not have masks on and I had mine on. I politely asked them "Oh, you are not requiring a mask?" The owner snapped at me "No, this is America!" I said ok, I have had my shots so I'm good with it. He then snapped back at me.. " I have had my rabbies shot and bordetella shot" His snide remarks made me very upset and uncomfortable. I was only asking about the masks to understand their policy as many businesses are still requiring masks when you come in. I left the store in tears not following thru with the shoes. This is not how customers should be treated! It seems he had a chip on his shoulder about political issues that have nothing to do with me. read more

Staff does not wear masks. I have bought many shoes there but, this is the first time I have been in since March. I went in wearing my mask and sat down before I noticed the clerk (or owner) and customer checking out did not have masks on. I asked if they do not mask up here and very sarcastically she replied NOPE. I will never shop there again. Obviously, they do not really care about their customers or customers health. They don't believe in wearing mask!!! When we entered the store with our mask on, we were greeted by Roland who wasn't wearing a mask. As he approached, we ask him if he had one and he said yes, do you want me to go put it on? He later complained to us when checking us out about wearing it. There was also a female employee that entered while we were paying who didn't have a mask on either and had no concern as she stepped behind the counter to use the computer. The shoes fit well and we purchase a pair. However we didn't really get the feeling that he wanted to sell us a shoe. Poor customer service is the reason for my rating. read more

We have been coming here for years! Consistently great, attentive and caring service from the owner and other employees. My son had severe, debilitating pain in his feet, and working with his doctor and these nice folks, he is able to run and participate in PE again. I can't believe it. It brings tears to my eyes to remember how far we have come with the right orthotics and fit. They truly offer the best products in our area--I have looked everywhere and it's very hard to find this kind of support. **Side note--they keep excellent records, too. My son's gym bag was stolen and we had to replace everything fast, and they were able to pull up our history and get everything we needed immediately. ** I would rather budget a little more for quality we know will last and promote long-term health than buy lesser (or even harmful!) products somewhere else. Sorry to see that employees are not wearing masks. The store itself has provided good service in the past, however those of us who are trying to protect people at home with high-risk conditions cannot risk exposure. If you were wheeled into the OR for a procedure, and the doctors, nurses and anesthesiologist were in street clothes--would you have the surgery? I asked the woman if she would mask up, and she said, "We don't do that." I worked as a P.A. in cardiothoracic surgery and internal medicine for decades, and have lost two classmates to this disease...and I find the lack of personal responsibility appalling. read more

Don't waste your money at the Foot Solutions n Flower Mound. After paying nearly $200 for a pair of shoes I developed heel pain. After seeking medical help was told that the shoes I have been wearing for the last 3 months were the wrong shoes for me and that the subsequent heel pain was caused by improper shoes. Then tried to return them to the FM Foot Solutions store with that explanation I was told, "Sorry, we have a 14 day return policy" When I tried to explain that the wrong shoes they sold me cost me over $600 plus very severe heal pain that required medical treatment. I have bought three pairs of shoes from this store and one pair of sandals. With the exception of the sandals, the other three were big disappointments. I need shoes to walk in and to stand on my feet for 8 hours ( because of work) and that has not been possible with the shoes I have bought in this store. I bought my recent pair a few weeks ago and paid $167 for it. I was in pain when i tried them on in the house. The only time I walked outside in these shoes was from the house to the mailbox and back. I tried to return ( or exchange ) them and I was told they will not take them back because there was wear and tear....how??? From the bare floors in the house? The sales lady added more arch support and she hoped it worked. Sorry, but it did not. I tried them on for 10 minutes in the house and still I was in pain. So now I have a brand new pair of expensive shoes that I cannot wear: Period. To sum it up: I am done with this store.
