We came in knowing we were going to buy a couch. We had been in the weekend prior and also had been…read morelooking online at the offers. Nini, the lovely associate who was helping us, listened attentively and was looking to help as much as she could. The couch we were looking to buy was a sectional where you could buy some, one, or all piece by piece. We mentioned spacing and tried to get an idea on how we could arrange things in our apartment. She helped us measure. But when we realized that one set might be too long we opted to buy three pieces instead of the four that was listed. Nini brought back the total but it was a few hundred shy of what the cost of the 7 piece sectional would be rather than a reduced price with the deal that was going on. Nini did not suggest or mention the per price piece tally since we weren't looking at buying a "prepackaged" set. We of course changed what we're doing to the pre packaged four piece set, opting to store the fourth piece since it won't fit where we are setting up the couch. We opened a credit card for financing and she handled it just fine. However she stated it would take 10 minutes but it ended up taking closer to 45. When you add that we had our 3 month old with us every second counted and the process took way too long. Side note either the manager or the owner or whatever of the store who was also there last week when we came in for another item seemed to leer at us a bit. Logically he was just watching Nini's interaction but it was weird. Ultimately this was a 4 star experience until we got home and checked the paper work. The armless chair in the set was not the powered one according to the paperwork - something I didn't catch since she stated that "since it says power sofa it means they're all powered" meaning the end and middle were both recliners. She even said she'd fix it if it wasn't so we'd have both recliners powered. My partner and I checked this after we were home- 3 month old was out past bedtime because of the time it took us to get done- and put our little one to sleep and while we are fine with it we're both disappointed and annoyed that we were told incorrectly and then it wasn't "fixed" as she assured us it would be. Moral of this: trust no one and double check twice. Edit: Chris Cooper reached out to me about the whole interaction. He listened to what happened and I clarified a few points. In the end he was on top of making the situation right. Thank you for all your help and assistance and for the prompt follow up! As I said before- this experience never soured us for home zone. I was a big fan before this (my bed, box spring, night stands and a few other things in my house are all from here) and I am even more so after this whole experience. My partner, who hadn't set foot in a home zone let alone heard of it has told me that he is now a big fan too. We look forward to seeing y'all on our next purchase.

Purchased my couch right before covid shut everything down. 5 years later (last year) my couches…read morebegan to fall apart. the hinges fell off so they no longer latch, The power brick connectors no longer stay attached, and the sagging and frame damage is HORRIBLE. I would not recommend these at all. We purchased a protection plan. Within the time frame of this protection plan our dog decided to pee on the couch. We called them to clean it and the tech brought a little green machine. Which I have. It didn't feel professional at all as I had already cleaned it with my machine prior. Don't buy their plans because they won't give you the service you pay for or protect your furniture. I also bought a dining room table. counter height with 6 chairs. the screws are constantly falling out and some of the wooden parts just completely fell off. We spent a lot of money on these pieces for them not to last. I would recommend going elsewhere.

I am in LOVE with this store. We are in the process of filling a brand new home with furnishings…read moreand decor and this is one of my go-to places for unique pieces that you really can't find just anywhere else. I came to know about this place from Facebook - I follow their page (District 635) on there and was really impressed with the color palettes that they use and the uniqueness of the items they show on there. The store itself is just as impressive. They go to other furniture/ decor places and get their closeouts and sell them here. While they advertise that their prices are significantly less for designer pieces, I do not see much financial savings, HOWEVER, I am willing to pay their prices because, as I said, mostly everything in here is extremely unique. I will say this - I saw a coffee table here made out of a Russian boat propeller with a glass top (super cool and different!) for $2300 and it was $4000 at Restoration Hardware ... so that's something, right? :) They constantly get new pieces in, so you have to check back frequently. They are only open Thursday-Sunday, so you really want to try to get there Thursday to see the best things that they have to offer for the week. For the most part, you buy right off the floor. Sometimes they will have a few duplicate items from the floor back in their warehouse, but this is one of those places where when you see something you like, you better buy it because it may not be there next time. *Note: They are connected to The Dump, however, the styles/ selection is nothing like the The Dump. Trust me, I don't like The Dump either.

I can also say that the furniture is very old and made of Teak wood imported from India. We picked it up from the store with only $100 off the price because one of the accent horse head on the front was cracked. I am really happy with the kind of furniture they collect over there.

I liked the building this business is in and I love knowing the history of the building, so I found…read moreit really neat that 5 generations of the same family are able to give a verified history of the building for almost 110 years! The building has a strong automotive history from being a Ford Dealership, a Service Garage, and an Auto Parts store, and today operates as a vendor mall. They have what looked like to be at least 20 or so vendors operating booths in this store. Each carries different things from, clothes, to books, toys, decor, purses/bags, cards, yard art, cooking utensils, and more. The selection is largely geared towards tourists, but locals will find items here as well. It appeared all items were new, so don't mistake this for like an antique mall or craft/artist mall. They items in here are pretty much more widely available, which takes some uniqueness away from the place. Pricing varied but they had items that matched almost all price points. Overall this place is worth a visit and with the variety of items, most can find something here either for themselves or for a gift. It is an easy visit right on Main street and only has two aisles so it won't take a long time to see everything they are offering.
