It makes trying on clothes awkward and stressful instead of enjoyable. Retail is supposed to be about customer service and comfort -- not feeling policed while you shop. I only explored the makeup, skincare, hair care, and deodorant sections this time, but it felt like walking through a fun, mini maze. The new layout is much brighter, and the products are displayed right at eye level, which makes browsing super easy. Plus, I was happy to find the exact deodorant I was looking for! My only minor complaint--as always with Target--is wondering why there are so many checkout lanes built into the store when only a couple are ever open.
