Today I made a huge purchase of tons of items and had a nice talk with the lady ringing up my items. I should've gotten her name but I did not. She was very pleasant to talk to and friendly. I'm happy with the quality of the items they stock here. Many are upset about these stores being picky about what they buy from you to sell but I am actually very thankful for that because I don't have to worry about the items I find here having large stains or holes. I go multiple times a week sometimes and there are always new things. I'm very pleased with my experiences here. One of the best once upon a child stores I have been to.

Having done both myself I will just say that there's a reason I now donate everything to CCA. Since it's been so long since I last attempted to sell anything to them, my rating only reflects the buying experience. First of all, the store is massive. Although the majority of their inventory is clothing they also have shoes, accessories, baby gear, and toys. Everything is pretty well organized making it easy to find exactly what you want. For example, clothes are grouped by size, color and type. And, for the most part the merchandise is in good condition. Occasionally I have come across a hole, tear or stain, so my advice is to to thoroughly inspect each item before checking out. Unfortunately there are no rock bottom prices to be found here (you'll have to go to Thrift Giant for that). In fact, most of the stuff isn't a whole lot cheaper than the new version, with the exception of some higher end brands here and there. I have actually found better prices on certain brands when they're on clearance at the original store. Another recurring theme in the reviews here is the rudeness of the employees. It makes me wonder if this place is fully staffed by ex-DPS workers! I guess I should consider myself lucky because I have miraculously somehow avoided their surliness. Maybe it has something to do with my earlier statement about not selling stuff to them anymore though.

"we have a system to check sizes" she said..........no duh, LITERALLY NO DUH who doesn't, it was rude and disrespectful, and as someone who demonstrates genuine positive energy and a collected manner to everyone it was insulting and as someone who works in RETAIL administration it was exactly what stores, leaders or associates, should not be doing in a retail field... and my receipt states my salesperson was A'jon?! What if I was a secret visitor? Or exect? Or your family? Learn how to treat customers of any skin color and sex orientation correctly and yes, my message will relay to others, because no one with the basic idea of simple inclusion, equality, and respect will step in your stores again. It was disgusting behavior the way I was treated, that's not how large businesses should be running. The employees stationed near the fitting rooms act more like security guards than customer service associates. The tone was cold and overly watchful, as if every customer is automatically suspicious. It makes trying on clothes awkward and stressful instead of enjoyable. Retail is supposed to be about customer service and comfort -- not feeling policed while you shop. Definitely not the experience I expect from a department store like this. I won't be returning anytime soon.

This place is fantastic to buy End-of-season clothing & shoes. There's pretty much everything here in terms of clothing. I always buy my boots here since it's 1/3 of the price during regular season. You can buy prom dresses for the girls, holiday clothing for the little ones, and pick up some nice clothes for the men in your family. Tip: If you plan to buy a lot, pick up the blue bins and go crazy. There's multiple cashiers located around Dillard's so you're not stuck behind crazy lines.
