Self-checkout has multiple lanes open, I gravitate there. I pick baby supplies, variety of discounted veggies, start unloading & scanning, to which the self-checkout cashier runs over seemingly irritated I was there with my child and plants, and asks me to go to a "regular check-stand" because she has to do xyz for each individual xyz... okay? so I reload all the plants with no help offered, and cruise over to a regular check-stand. Instead of unloading each plant, I remove all the tags and place them in a neat pile on top of a box of diapers to make it simple for the cashier to scan and she freaks out over an ant on the plant tag, then starts individually asking me about each plant, taking them out, grumbling about the lack of labeling and dirt. I genuinely hate shopping here because of the employees. Sushi department is always friendly. I wish it had its own Yelp separate from the store.

My husband came in to get assistance and instead of providing any solution, that same guy that was helpful became dismissive, rude, and argumentative. Even if it wasn't warrantied, he absolutely did not need to be rude about it and basically ended the conversation by saying "bye." He should be fired for treating customers that way. Extremely disappointing. The older gentleman that works there seems kind, but it's not worth shopping here if they're only pleasant to deal when you're purchasing. Shop elsewhere.
