There were ladies managing the desk and they were always busy doing intake, answering shoppers' questions, checking in on you when you walked in. Things were moving fast, it was all organized -- busy, and organized -- and everything was well-kept and high-end. They moved downtown, the man said, leaning back in his recliner chair, four years ago. It is not what it used to be. I'll leave it there. I'm sad. My tenants needed to have their carpets cleaned, so to try to save them some money, I told them about the MaxCare coupon in the local ValPak mailer: 5 rooms for $99. Both sets of duplex tenants scheduled appointments over the phone for back-to-back cleanings. When the team arrived, they announced that there would be an additional $45 charge each for doing the stairs - a 50% increase from their advertised price. When I called the office on behalf of the tenants, the man said that the scheduler should have asked if stairs were involved. He hadn't. The man with whom I spoke said that stairs were an optional service. I did not quibble about an additional charge for a stairway, but I told him that this "extra" should have been mentioned on the coupon along with the many other options and additional services that WERE listed. Plus I said that it was unethical that the scheduler did not ask about stairs but then the team insisted on the additional payment if the tenants wanted the stairs done. I will not be using or recommending MaxCare in the future.

Unfortunately it was a hot dry summer so restrictions on cutting wood left my trees on the ground most of the summer. I took my Stihl chainsaw in to Crater Chain Saw to be repaired again and they said a week it'd be ready. It was the end of September already, I was super frustrated since I hadn't been able to cut and talked to the owners son if I couldn't please please get it in 2 days. I got a call two days later saying my chainsaw was repaired and I could pick it up. I was there asap, so very happy and extremely grateful that they put me in front of alot of professional loggers. Great people and I will definitely keep coming back to Crater Chain Saw!!!
