Horrible customer service after the purchase. Purchased 2k$+ worth of bedroom furniture and delivery said 2-3 weeks. They gave us a delivery date of July 3 and on July 2 I called the store and tried to figure out what time they would be there. They didn't have 2 of the 4 items in stock yet and didn't expect them for another 2-3 weeks more. No one contacted us via email or anything that the order would be delayed. The lady on the phone I talked to was very rude and acted like I was in the wrong for expecting our furniture to be delivered on the day they told us because no one had called and confirmed that date. I took time off work to be home and available for the delivery and now it will not be here for weeks. Not one phone call or email or anything saying it's delayed. So far, pretty nice furniture, seems almost impossible to receive after we have paid THOUSANDS of dollars to furnish our new home. Ordered livingroom sofa and loveseat, kitchen tables and chairs. Complete bedroom, headboard, footboard the 2 pieces of wood that held them together. Chest and dresser and 2 nightstands. 65 inch table for wall in livingroom. Most or all was supposed to be "in stock". Purchased on a Tuesday. (sofa loveseat) Sales person said it would be delivered on Saturday. Sat morning, no calls, went back to Ashley and asked about delivery. While there bought bedroom set and livingroom table. Was told that it was actually going to be delivered on Tuesday (one week from purchase). Have been sitting on camp chairs for weeks. Delivery came in Tuesday, wrong furniture (color). Delivery guy asked if we wanted to keep it, said NO. Called store next day. Will be delivered on Tuesday. Tuesday, no call. I called. Will be Thursday, Nothing on Thursday, will be Saturday, nothing on Saturday. Called store. Will be the following Thursday. 1 week after the wrong color delivery, we went back to the store. (Tuesday). Manager offered to provide us with a "loaner" sofa on the next Friday. We accepted. That helped. It has been 5 weeks. Called teoday and was told that it will be another month before we will receive the bedroom furniture (5 pieces) and livingroom table. read more

Moving to Medford from Las Vegas bought a table and chairs and went very well then got to Medford and went in store and bought a couch and the sales girl Toni said we would have the couch the following week and ottoman a week after will 3,weeks later we getting our couch and ottoman and Toni would not answer my phone calls. Bad-Service. I would give Ashley's a minus if possible. We needed a new mattress and checked local mattress companies in the Medford, Oregon area and found that the brand we wanted was the same price throughout the area ($2499). We chose Ashely's based on the sales clerk and the managers assurance that we would have hers and his promises that the mattress would be delivered on the date promised on the sales receipt. So we had a local disposal company come and pickup the old mattress and waited patiently on the day promised for the new one to arrive. To our dismay It never came. We called that afternoon and spoke with a lady who advised us that it was not possible to deliver it today and maybe they could deliver it later in the week, but we would have to talk with a manager tomorrow. We advised her about the promises made, she flatly refused to help, advising her current manager was with a customer and could not talk with us, to check back tomorrow. We advised her that we had nothing to sleep on, but nothing we said helped. . No idea what went wrong, no idea who dropped the ball, however this type of customer service should never be tolerated or the business supported. BUYER BE WARY This is a follow up to a negative review I wrote in January. In summary, after purchasing a lift recliner, I paid $169.00 to have it delivered and set up in my home. One day I noticed the laminate flooring under the chair was scratched, marred and gouged. I contacted the store in person about the issue but got no response, despite repeated calls. No one was sent out to look at the issue. A friend was able to tip the heavy chair over and discovered the chair had been set up lacking feet. The metal mechanism on the bottom of the chair had caused the floor damage over time as people sat on the chair. After taking photos of the damage to Ashley and repeated phone calls, I only got a response after I wrote a negative review. In fact, within hours of the review being posted, a store manager delivered me a set of feet and installed them on the chair. There remained the issue of the damaged floor, which Ashley refused to take responsibility for, stating I hadn't 'notified them in a timely manner'. I subsequently had the floor repaired as it was unsightly and diminished the value of my home. Two floor repairmen spent 5 hours replacing the laminate boards and charged a very reasonable fee of $300.00. I took the bill to Ashley almost 2 weeks ago and they still have not acknowledged receiving the bill and accompanying letter. Ashley Furniture is solely responsible for the damage to my floor and a trustworthy company would immediately have reimbursed me for the damages. I'm writing this 2nd review to warn the public that Ashley cares nothing about customer service, quality of their products or service. Bought their crappy furniture and the staples on the frame started poking you in the back, the zipper on the couch cushion just broke and now the cover barely stays on and part of the frame is broken. I think our sales person was Ede. She sold us a warranty stating it was great they will fix anything that happens to it and if they cant fix it they will replace it. Guess what???? Nope my crappy couch is not covered. I was never given anything explaining that it was a limited warranty. They have a terrible reputation and so does their BS warranty. Buyer Beware. I purchased an outdoor sofa from Ashley in 2021 - they charged me about $100 more than the advertised price, but it was in stock, and I wanted an outdoor couch for summer. The sofa was slightly damaged during shipping, but it was still usable after I made a minor repair. During winter 2023-24 the cushions were carried off by a bear and destroyed. I called Ashley twice and left messages at "parts", but I did not get a return call. The third time I called the general number and had them leave a message for "parts" - that finally resulted in a call back and I ordered (and paid for) new cushions from Ashley on July 11, 2024. I was told that they would arrive in 4-6 weeks - not good but I went ahead with the order anyway. On August 6, I emailed to see when the cushions might arrive. They wrote back that they were scheduled to arrive August 22 (exactly six weeks from the order date) and that they would keep me updated. On August 23, after hearing nothing more from Ashley, I emailed again and when I got no response to that email, I called on August 28, and was told that they were scheduled to arrive on September 10, but that was only an estimate. Two months or more to ship a few cushions for a sofa that is still a standard item in the store and on the website is not acceptable customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE! We were shopping for a new reclining sofa, so we went to Ashley Home Store. The salesman helping us showed us a few sofas, and my wife picked chose one she thought to be comfortable enough. We ended up paying over $2400. for the sofa, and had to wait a week to have it delivered. The day it was delivered, we found it to be VERY uncomfortable to both sit and recline in it. It had lumbar support, but that just made the back pain even worse. We went back to the store the day it was delivered, and spoke to the salesman who sold it to us. We were told we would not only have to pay a 25% restock fee, but also have to pay $50 for the delivery guys to come back to the house to get it. We received a call from the warehouse a few hours after it was delivered saying it would be 5 days for them to come back and get it. We don't live out of town... in fact we are in N. Medford (not far from the store). The ONLY guarantee Ashley has is to NOT return all of your money if you're not completely satisfied. So, to summarize... a week to deliver it, having to wait another 5 days for them to come and pick it up. Plus pay $500 in restock fees and another $50 to have it picked up to return it. Treated terribly! We came into the store to look for a sofa I had called to inquire about previously. On the phone call I stated that I lived in Portland and would be coming to purchase for my grandmother. I asked for a specific couch set I had seen online, asked if they had it in stock. Was told they didn't have that set, but did have the sectional. I asked "ready to go?" To which I was told yes. Upon entering the store was greeted by a short dark haired man who walked us to said sectional, that was double the price of the website! I said is this ready to take home? He said "no, we keep nothing in stock". Well this isn't what we were told. So he goes to get the "manager". You open up a whole new credit card with an outrageous interest and late fee rate if you were not totally keeping tack of payment dates. 9 months after waiting for our bed frame....we were informed it was not going to happen :( Mattress cover we purchased at over $200 plus dollars SUCKED. In early 2020, we were relocating and furnishing a new home. During this process we purchased a number of pieces of furniture from Ashley Furniture. One of the items we purchased was a new king size Tempur-Pedic mattress. The moral of this story is we will not be shopping at Ashley Furniture again, and we would not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone else! Within a couple of months problems began to develop with the mattress, the most notable was the mattress began making noises. The noises were load enough, that as you turned or rolled in your sleep, you would be awaken from your sleep by the noise. Contact was made with Ashley Furniture, but they were less than responsive. As time passed, the mattress' state continued to deteriorate, lumps were developing in it and it was becoming harder and harder. Continued contact was made with Ashley Furniture and they continued to be less than responsive. It was not until mid-December 2020 that Ashley Furniture sent two technicians to inspect the mattress. At the conclusion of their inspection the technicians advised the mattress had broken and was now worthless. We contacted Ashley Furniture since there was a warranty on the mattress. Their response was coldly blunt, too much time had lapsed and the store warranty had expired. We then contacted Tempur-Pedic, as the mattress had a ten (10) year warranty. Tempur-Pedic accepted our claim and immediately began processing the claim. Shortly thereafter, Tempur-Pedic advised us the ten (10) year warranty was no longer valid. Tempur-Pedic explained that all Tempur-Pedic mattresses must be sold with a Tempur-Pedic box springs. Since Ashley Furniture sold us the mattress with a box springs manufactured by Ashley Furniture, this immediately invalidated the ten (10) warranty offered by Tempur-Pedic. Returning to Ashley Furniture and contacting the Store Manager Jordan, we presented the above information from Tempur-Pedic to him. With a measure of belligerence in his tone, Jordan informed us he was not taking the mattress back and was not giving us a refund. Further, that he was done dealing with us. As a result of the above belligerent posture the decision was made to retain a lawyer and initiate a law suit against Ashley Furniture. After a period of time Ashley Furniture did agreed to provide a refund. After additional prodding, Ashley Furniture agreed to come and pick up the broken mattress. During this process we also received unconfirmed information that we paid more for the Ashley box springs then we would have paid for a Tempur-Pedic box springs. In the end, we cannot see a circumstance wherein we would recommend purchasing merchandise from Ashley Furniture. 4 months ago RUN DONT WALK AWAY from the lousy quality and even worse Protection Plan. It's not worth the paper it's written on. Our salesman said "even if it's a scratch from a cat" it's protected. Well, it WAS NOT from a cat but from minor wear and tear a year and a half later that the leather started cracking. When we sent pictures, I got back this note: "The photos are showing the leather Cracking and peeling, therefore, we are unable to proceed on the issue that you are having" What the H!!? A puncture or a Rip all the way through is covered! Quality of the product is NOT covered!!! Don't bother with the quarany. It's a farce. And RUN from their leather products. When did furniture shopping get bumped up to the list included in Used Car shopping? I can say for sure, I found the most comfortable recliner that I have ever had the opportunity to sit in. And to the Salesman's credit, he was actually able to keep a straight face when stating that we could actually "Buy one and GET ONE FREE". Well how about that! If we purchased this amazing chair, they would throw another one in. As tempted as I was, and believe me, I was tempted. I took his card and said I needed to think about it. The cost of the ONE recliner? $1, 238.00 More than our house payment. I took a photo of the stock number and description. What did I find? The same exact chair on Amazon for .....drumroll please $493.99. Did I mention free shipping? Ashley was willing to get it to my door, however it would tack over 100.00 more to the total. I have tried very very hard to be understanding and nice. I even wrote bad reviews before but removed them. But trust me when I say do NOT order from this Ashley furniture. I'm sure some customers get special treatment but my husband and I didn't even get sub par treatment. Here's my story. Back in September my husband and I ordered a dining table that is bar height and couches. We loved them both. We were supposed to get them about two months later. Which is crazy, but because of the pandemic we understood. Two months passed and nothing. No call, nothing. We tried to get a hold of someone to help us and all we got was a lot of "someone would call you back" but noone ever did. We didn't know what was happening with our furniture. We had to physically go down to the store to get answers. We finally spoke with the manager Jordan. We didn't get any apologies but he seemed nice enough. He told us that our couch had in fact arrived a couple weeks ago but the warehouse people had accidentally slashed the couch and the couch we wanted was no longer available. (Again they couldn't simply call and tell us that they just ignored us instead) we picked out some fancier couches and Jordan gave us a small discount on those and we got those about two weeks after they had said but we were thankful we got them at all. The table arrived and it is damaged, the chair was wobbly and the bench did not fit the table and was wrong. The bench was super short and looks ridiculous. We contacted the store and they said someone would call us back but they never did. We again, had to physically go to the store and request the manager again to try and get it fixed. Spoke with Jordan again. Again, no apologies but he said he would reorder the bench. At this point it was February. So we had been waiting 6 months. No calls. No communication. The guys did come out a week later to fix the chair. They didn't. They said they didn't have the part to fix the chair and didn't have the correct bench. They left. My husband went to Lowes and got the part to fix the chair and did it himself. There is still a crack on the table but we dont dare ask them to fix it even under warranty because nothing will happen. Back to the bench...we had called several times asking about the correct bench and again told several times we would get a call back but never did. Again, we had to go to the store to talk to Jordan. He said we would have to wait until the end of March to get our bench. We explained that was ok as long as he simply communicated with us about it. But nothing. I went back down to the store at the beginning of April and spoke with Jordan again. Again, never one apology in all of this. He said we would get the bench soon and I made him PROMISE he would call us the next week when he said he would know an exact date. No call. My husband called him and he said we would get it last Monday. Nothing. No call. I called Friday and they said they would call me back. No call. I called Saturday and the guy said it was in the warehouse and Jordan would call me back. Nothing. Im pretty sure anyone reading this would agree this is a horrible way to treat customers. Absolutely horrible. They make no effort to make it right. No effort to communicate. Nothing. I said this before and I erased it because I wanted to give them a chance. They DO NOT care about your business. Or customers. Go to Garrisons or somewhere else. Don't put yourself through this. Don't do it. It took us over 6 months to get a correct piece of furniture after their mistake. It has taken us 8 months to get one piece of furniture that THEY ordered wrong and still don't have it. We purchased an entire bedroom set near the beginning of November 2018. When we purchased the set, we were told everything but the bed rails and footboard would be delivered on a specific date. Which they were. We were told the bed rails and footboard would arrive on Dec 4, 2018. I called the Warehouse on Dec 4th and was told that they actually weren't scheduled to arrive until Dec 7th. (LIE #1 by Sales Staff) The Warehouse ASSURED me that our rails were set to be delivered on Dec 7th for sure and I would be called no later than Monday Dec 10th to schedule delivery. We decided to wait, it was only another week. Dec 10th: No phone call Dec 11th: No phone call - so I decided to call them back myself. The Warehouse staff told me the bed was out of stock and it would be until AFTER Christmas. What? Wait - you told me it was schedule on the truck to be delivered on Dec 7th. She stated that it probably wouldn't even be until after the New Year "sometime" meaning it could be February or March possibly. I called the sales store and was told that no managers were on duty and one would call me back. After reading numerous reviews, I can see that we will never get a phone call from management. I asked several times to return the "half" merchandise that we received and was given no answer. -UPDATE Spoke to one of the managers who refunded me the full price of the missing items and still delivering those items when they come in in a month or so. $457 worth so that was worth waiting. Management ("Ron") at this Medford Oregon Ashley Store is rude and unprofessional. We went into the store on Saturday, May 26, to purchase two pieces of furniture. We had seen, and were reminded by the very nice salesperson, Mike, that everything in the store, except a particular brand of mattress, was on sale, for between 30% off and 50% off because the store is soon moving to the old Costco building. We explained what we wanted and Mike quickly found it for us. There was no price of any type posted, and Mike went into the executive office to ask Ron for the price. The price seemed high. We did not take or agree to delivery. We left a deposit and figured that we would validate the price when we got home to a computer. At home, we used the Medford Oregon Ashley Store website from the business card stapled to our paperwork and the SKU of the item to locate the base price. We had NOT been given a discount, and actually had been charged MORE than the price posted on the Medford Oregon Ashley Store website. We called the store today, May 27, to cancel. Ron stated that the listed price is an Ashley corporate price, and that his store charges 200% of the website price, $2,856.00. With my repeated requests to cancel the deal, Ron stated that he lacked the authority to cancel. He did not care that the furniture remains in his store, we called in less than 24 hours, and we have received no value. Ron explained that in retail, it is common practice to mark up a product 200% and then mark it down 40% and refer to that as a blowout sale. Ron declined to provide his full name. The new location in the old Costco building is so nice. It feels clean, and comfortable. We didn't end up purchasing on our window shopping trip, but had a good experience while we were there. I think the best part was that one of the light features we were looking at was really overpriced in my opinion. And the rep pointed out that a crafty person may be able to make a similar feature at home. I also enjoyed that they can recognize that there is move for negotiation. read more

They have decent furniture at reasonable prices. However, when I walked in and was walking around no one greeted me or asked if I needed anything even though there were barely any customers there. When I went to the customer service desk and asked for help, the woman was really rude and said she didn't think anyone was available even though I could see a sales woman walking around. I was about to leave when the sales woman came and began helping me. She was great and i ended up buying over a thousand dollars worth of furniture. The furniture I ordered came exactly on time and the delivery guys were great! The store almost lost a good customer because of the rudeness of the woman behind the counter. I hope they understand the importance of customer service and get friendlier people at the desk, not just the sales people. read more
