I bought a $10,000 chair at Garrisons. Dont ask me why. I just felt compelled to because it is beautiful, modern and cool. There was a mechanical issue 3 years after my purchase. Garrison's service department came out and assessed the situation and orderd the parts from overseas. It took quite a while, which was expeted. Once the parts came back, James and Joe from the service deapartment came to my house, disassembled the chair took it back to their shop and returned it in a few hours. We purchased an adjustable bed in October 2022, when the $99 red carpet service came and delivered and set up the bed , the men who put the bed together had issues with the installation of the 6 legs that were not fitting properly , so they tried to screw the legs in all 6 spots and tried all in different positions numerous times and stripped the screws and the holes the screws went into as well . So the head guy told us he did the best he could and if we had any problems to call the store and it would be 100% guaranteed lifetime warranty , so the bed would be replaced ! Well this is actually completely untrue , as in 09/2023 we moved the bed and the legs were screwed so tight on 3 of the legs it took excessive force to unscrew , breaking 2 of the legs , screw broke off inside , also I had to briefly push the bed on my own down a wheel chair ramp and unfortunately tore the material on the side of the bed in a small spot in which I notified garrisons of all of this , including taking blame for the small damage I caused , Derek the service guy sent out his crew of 3 to take pictures of the bed and called me back to tell me that the rip on the side I caused means the warranty is no good !!! So after months of disagreeing back and forth and we were going thru some life trauma and it became less than a priority to continue to argue with him . So I reached out to management 2 months ago and yet again garrisons will not warranty an $1800.00 bed that has a lifetime warranty which there employees who set it up ruined the legs on the bed and the bed , they want me to pay $350.00 for a replacement ??? Hmmm a lifetime warranty which the bed was damaged first day we had it delivered which was $99 for red carpet service , so I'm posting pictures to show you what they damaged and what I personally damaged while moving alone due to my fiancé has been very sick and has not been well nor able to help , so we are out $1800 plus , and now we have no bed as it is so damaged and legs are destroyed and can no longer attach back to the bed . I even asked if they could repair the bed and get new legs for us since they broke them , nope they were not willing to do that either . I also called and asked several times to speak to a general manager and told they would call me back , nope I called back again and Derek took the phone away from the nice gentleman I was speaking with , he stated he tried to call several times to get a busy signal ... really a cell phone in which no one else has ever had an issue reaching me and getting a busy signal ! I will never purchase anything from this store again nor would I ever recommend. P.S. also would not give us the manufacturer contact information either . read more

We purchased a bed from here. We were told the beds were made in the United States, but the bed we purchased we found after it was installed was made in Viet Nam. There also seems to be some misunderstanding about the price; it was higher than we understood what the salesman said. The bed itself seems as described. Time will tell how it holds up. We visited the Phoenix store, and the service and selection were absolutely excellent. Nate the GREAT! helped us choose a recliner by American Comfort, and we are happy to have ordered a Stanton couch, made in Oregon. Nate is so knowledgeable about every aspect of our new furniture, and we really relied on his expertise to help us select colors -- of which there are so many styles and colors of fabric available. Delivery and communication are excellent, as well -- within a couple days, very punctual, friendly, and an excellent extention of all the fantastic service we have come to know at Garrisons. I had the best customer service I have enjoyed in quite sometime. I was greeted at the door. Rachel helped me find what I was looking for and then check to make sure it was in stock. The next day when I went to order it she actually remembered me. Even better I didn't have to wait weeks for delivery, just days. They even called and asked to deliver it early. The delivery guys were so friendly and polite. They took their time unloading my unit and walked with care. They didn't leave until I was satisfied. You simply can't get better service than Garrison's Home. Nate was our salesman and he was patient and thorough. We bought a sleeper from them that was essentially a mid-grade from American Leather. BUT they did not have that one on display. They had the higher and lower ones and both seemed good, so we had no worries about the mid-grade, and it was a little shorter, which fits our room better. Then it arrived and it was of totally different quality with a bench so hard neither of us could sit on it without ACTUAL BACK PAIN! I spoke to Owen, the manager and he was immediately sympathetic and helpful. Despite it being a special order, they are taking it back and have reordered the higher grade one that we DID sit on, for a minimal upcharge. Both Owen and Nate were kind and helpful as we chose the replacement. They are picking up the terrible one so we can use our room again, even though they'll have to make a special trip to bring the new one. Service simply does not come better than this. We moved to this area in October and prior to closing escrow on our new home, purchased 2 couches from Garrison's. When our home fell out of escrow, Garrison's was kind enough to hold our couches until January. Now, granted, we had ordered one that would take 6-8 weeks to arrive, but they did not "need" to hold these for us. These are the type of people they are. Went and looked couches and we where strongly considering purchasing thru financing. The sales rep got us "pre approved", but we decided to wait and think on it as the couch was rather expensive. Next thing I know we got a credit card in the mail from wells Fargo. Pre approving does not authorize someone to open a credit card in your name! I was able to close the account and remove it from my credit report, but was pretty unsatisfied with the whole experiance and would likely not return. We bought a couch and it took 6 months to get it, we had to call to find out it was on back order for the fabrics. Poor customer service... , otherwise we weren't going to be told. After we got the couch, feathers were popping out and was very uncomfortable and Garrisons just keeps ignoring we are not happy, and sends repair guys, that forgot to bring one cushion. I had a great experience. I was hesitant when I came in the store, expecting to spend too much money and was overwhelmed by the smell of the 5 day old mattresses. I had to replace my old bed and knew it needed to be done. Dylan was great. We talked. He and I didn't have a great rapport at first, but as I spent time in the store, I think he realized I was willing to be open minded about what was available. I am very happy with my purchase. I've now spent 4 nights on my new mattress and the excruciating pain and exhaustion I was experiencing is slowly diminishing. I wanted what I got when I went in the store when I left. I went in to purchase a rocker/recliner/swivel chair and found just what I wanted. I purchased the lifetime fabric warranty & found out that if you don't file a claim for 5 yrs after the purchase date, that $ goes towards a store credit. The sofa and chair that I purchased over 5 yrs ago had the same warranty, so I got the store credit! (Very nice!). Then there was a minor glitch in the delivery time and I didn't notice until they left that I got the recliner only (no swivel or rocking). It turns out that it was written up incorrectly and I only paid for the rocker, but to make it right with me, they sent another delivery truck out to pick up the recliner and deliver the rocker/swivel/recliner for the same price AND all in the same day! Great customer service, no pressure sales and very friendly people all the way around. Their prices are not bad for very good quality furniture. Extremely disappointed with service from Garrisons. We saved up for 3 years to purchase a 3-piece leather sectional four years ago. I found one that was less expensive at one of the chain furniture stores BUT my husband wanted us to "support local". I get that and we have purchased from Garrison's before and hadn't had issues. Unfortunately, this MAJOR purchase that is supposed to have come with a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, every time we called for service, we were met with excuses to not repair!!! First, it was their horribly rude service person and of late, "well, the boys sat on the sofas and they said there is nothing wrong with them and that they still meet #STANTON and #GATE'S standard of not needing warranty service.
