Have been going to Titon since 2015 wen I got my fur baby. All shots and care by Dr Michelle. She had a tumor and had to have her front teeth between the canines out. All went well for years, but for constant ear infections. Changed foods to prescription diet and my picky eater went to a great eater.but Fl vet put her on Apoquel. Went back to RI and found they had got away from Covetrus pharmacy who were very expensive and sent dented cans, to a different pharmacy that told me to order her food direct from hills. Great! I find Dr Garrett and Dr Michelle are great. Not cheap but they keep up on all her shots. She is a happy camper now flipping from RI to Fl. Both vets about the same price.expensive but necessary. read more

Titan is the best services I've ever had for my dogs. They have the most caring staff. They truly care. The reception staff are friendly and likethe Vet and technicians truly care. Susan who works directly with the animals is out of this world. So caring and compassionate. They are very fair in pricing. I have a dog with some health issues that are being treated and we drive from North Providence to Warwick because I will not go anywhere else to treat my fur baby. I took my dog to this vet, and the lady who was holding her while getting checked out was very rude and aggressive towards my dog when she was panting The lady shut her mouth very aggressively. she was like throwing my dog around because she was getting blood taken and didn't like it. When we got our puppy, he came with a free first vet check here. We made the appointment and made the drive. It took me over an hour to get to the appointment, and I took time off work to get there on time. When I arrived, nobody told me there were any delays so I thought everything was running smoothly. I was horribly wrong. I looked at the time. 15 minutes past time. 30 minutes past time. 45 minutes past time. 60 minutes past time. I finally went to the desk and asked what was going on, and they shrugged at me and said that it would probably be another hour before the vet might see us. I was fumed! All in, I invested three hours for the opportunity to see this vet, which I didn't end up even being able to do on this visit. Terrible first impression. The location is run down, the people behind the desk were unhelpful and unapologetic about the delay or to offer help. I'm so glad this is not our vet, because if I lived in this area, I would absolutely drive to any other vet instead of coming here. My experience at Titan Vet has always varied the past two years. My first appointment, they were 45 minutes behind schedule and the staff were not the nicest when it was time to check in/check out. The doctors and the nurses were extremely kind and helpful, but i didnt receive the same service from the staff at the desks. I was apprehensive about coming back because of my first experience but after going to a different vet, I realized how affordable Titan is compared to other vets. I continued to go to Titan the next time my dog needed a check-up and it was the complete opposite from my first time there. These past two weeks, I've been visiting a lot since we got a new puppy. I am highly impressed with their service during this pandemic--their service is much better and faster now than it was before. So i do applaud how they've implemented the changes! I've been taking my pets to Titan Vet for years. We have a dog, two cats, and two kittens. I have seen Dr. Dennigan and Dr. Bassett, and I recommend them. Do I wait? Yes, so I try to schedule an appointment first thing in the morning. Are they busy? Yes, so I get ready to wait sometimes when I call. Are they kind? Yes, and if a staff member is super busy, they might sound rushed, but they are still kind and mean well. I haven't seen anything but a clean space, so I was surprised at the photos. I actually really like the people at Titan Vet, I think that they are true animal lovers and try their best to help, staying a little late or trying to fit one of our pets in. They are always busy, there are always people in line, but they do a good job, and try to keep their prices reasonable, which is probably why they are so busy. read more

Horrible. The wait and over booking I can deal with but it gets tiring due to work schedule, and also, my dog has been going there since he was 4 months old. He will be turning 5. During his last visit (winter 2021), I was told to reschedule, and have him put to sleep in order for him to get his shots, because they was too scared or shall I say can't handle a 35 lb medium size dog. He has been seen last year and they refuse to give him a new script for heart worm meds unless he gets tests run, and for them to do that, they have to put him to sleep again (that will be the first and last). A good vet office when it comes to pricing. If you are on a budget when it comes to your fur-baby, this a good place to go. We've only been here twice, and the first time was for the pup's first wellness visit and shots. The visit was complimentary, but it was $15 for the rabies vaccine, which was not a bad price at all. I also recently had him neutered here, and the entire experience was also pleasant. Be full warned, they are very busy and if you are going in for a visit with the vet, it will probably be an all-day endeavor with a very long wait period, hence the lack of extra stars. Also, the reception staff is not very friendly with humans, but I have found that to be the case at most vet offices, so we won't hold it against them. read more

Easily the worst vet clinic in Rhode Island, the staff are very rude and have no concern for you or your pet. Always overbooked for the time of your appointment so you end up waiting at least 30mins over which affects me in the long run with work. Noticed during COVID they push additional services and in some cases just perform them to get more money out of you. They will also force you to bring your pet in when requesting their approval for medication from other retailers, even though they recently seen your pet they do this to get more money out of you. I'm not one to write reviews, but I can't help myself. It seems that every time we have an appointment here I ALWAYS wait more than an hour past my appointment time, even early in the morning. The most recent time, today, I scheduled an appointment and it was a TWO hour wait. No apology or explanation, just business as usual I guess. ANYWAY, my dog has stomach issues and just needs probiotics and a special powder which I was told requires a vet visit. Even tho they now know he needs this powder and made me take half a day out of work and wait for two hours, I'm informed they don't carry the powder and I have to visit another vet. WHY NOT TELL ME THAT BEFORE WHEN I CALLED AND ASKED? I know what my dog needs and you still go out of your way to ruin my day. A 3 minute visit to tell me you can't help me, $109 and 2 hours out the window. Save yourself, go elsewhere because these people do not care. The visit was only $50 but I had to point out that my dog had an ear infection and needed drops. You think a vet would notice that...during the checkup...where you did nothing else. This was 12 hours ago and the anger is still palatable. read more

The staff made this process so simple. I called to schedule a neutering for my puppy. They set up an appointment. It was one visit . That's it! At drop off they said to bring documentation of his medical record and vaccinations. They advised to get blood work done prior to surgery(on the same day). It was an extra 70$. Which I did do. They also gave me an option of laser surgery or regular surgery. They had stated that laser surgery has a less infection rate and it would cost 15$ more. I did that too. Later that day they called to have him picked up. We were given instructions / medications on how to care for post-op puppy. Which were detailed. I followed their instructions. My puppy is over 2 weeks post op and is doing great! No infection, healed up real nice. He is back to his happy , playful self! read more

I have been bringing my pets here for years and they always received top notch vet care. The front desk staff have always been kind and professional and genuinely care about animals. Yes, they are usually busy and there is a wait time, but where isn't there a medical facility ( for humans and fur babies) where you don't wait an excessive amount of time ?? News flash people, when you own a pet, you have to expect to pay for their health and wellness just like you do for you or your family members! My personal experience at Titan was not great. I originally went to them upon hearing some positive reviews, and finding my then (and current) vet to be more expensive. Like many things, the phrase "You get what you pay for" applies here. At the time Dr. Michelle was the only vet, and it was sometimes difficult to get an appointment, and when you do, things would run behind. Not fun with an anxious chihuahua mix. I found the clinic to not be very clean, and visits to be rushed. When my in-law's dog was needlessly butchered by them, that was the last straw. We have since gone back to Oaklawn Animal Hospital and are much happier. Yes it may cost us a little more, but we feel that Brandi is in much better hands there. So disappointed with the level of care of my dog. I brought my dog there with a suspected blockage. They did 2 X-rays and some blood work, along with fluids and sent her home. Upon a check up call the following day, I said that nothing had improved. They said to watch her for another day. I called on day 3 and brought her back in. They completed another set of X-rays and called and said that I should bring her to a hospital to get her treated for a blockage. When I questioned why, I was told that the X-rays don't show everything. They didn't say that to me during my first appointment. If they don't have the knowledge or equipment to evaluate an issue, they should have told me during the first appointment. Instead, they choose to take my money and allow my dog to suffer. I will never go back there again and would never recommend anyone to bring their animal there. Stay away!! read more

My dogs are patients of Titan Vet. I called on Friday to let them know that my 13 year old dog had loss control of his legs and bladder control and that he was lying in my backyard and could no longer stand. We knew he was suffering and we asked if we could bring him in to have him euthanized. We knew it was his time. I was told by person on phone that they wouldn't just euthanize the dog without them first being seen by the vet for a formal examination. I had just told them the dog was lying in the back yard and was incontinent and no longer had the ability to stand. The decision was ours to make and not thiers. She again restated that the dig would need to have appointment to see Vet and offered me July 21st. I am removing all of my dogs from this Vet and will never use them again. July 21st. Am i supposed to let dog suffer until then. No compassion. read more

This place deserves a 5 star negative review. After my dog was near dead after their service I took the dog to an an emergency hospital. The experts there said TItan botched the procedure prescribed the wrong meds and he was suffering badly. If this were a human they would be sued for malpractice. I am thing about it myself. Decided to try a new vet due to the long wait: many times 1 hour after appointment time, consistently being on hold, long waits at checkout, and them messing up her files. New vet found a knee issue which she was born with and significant allergies. The new vet spent far more time with her and did a thorough exam. They provide at most minimal care to the pet and are negligent at average rates. There is no bargain here for sure! If you care for your pet do not go there. Learn from my mistake. Titan was my dogs vet for 2 years until the dog needed same day care. They refused to see my dog when I carried her in (back legs went totally limp night before) and told me and the dog to leave as the vet prefered to do nothing as I did not have an appointment. They care more about their policy of "appointments only" than serve their customers. I think Michelles skills and or will to treat anything more than simple exams is deficient. Some people claim that Titan is low cost which is not at all true as they are comparing sparse and ill advised treatment with adequate care. This can either end up costing more in the end or costing the life of the pet. Their prices are average to more than average depending on what you have them do. We took our baby here for his first exam because it was free. We haven't had any significant issues with them but it's not a place that will go above and beyond. This clinic will do the bare minimum and that's probably okay for some as their prices are so cheap, but I didn't feel comfortable taking my puppy here long term. It feels like you're being rushed out the door. We took our pet to Wickford Vet and their service is far superior. The Vet took the time to answer our questions and seemed to genuinely care. The receptionist was also very kind and gave us a rebate for our prescription. read more

We have 2 dogs now, had a third who passed and we are soon adopting another. Michelle and her team are great. The office is busy for sure, but that's always a sign of a popular place! When our old guy had to be euthanized they could not have been more compassionate. I recommend them to everyone, their fees are more than fair and we never feel we are being taken. We are most often in for 'well visits, but they are always thorough and really take the "kids" personalities into consideration. Our newest will be seen by Michelle before she moves in. read more

We have had good experiences here for a number of years. We take our two dogs here for shots and checks on any sort of issues. Recently we took our lab in for an anal sac issue that the doc looked at and prescribed an antibiotic for treatment. We need to return for a check as we were told there's an outside chance of anal sac cancer but that it appeared to be just an infection. In any event, we have found the visits positive, prices reasonable and phone calls/emails easy for making appointments. Brought my Boston Terrier here to be fixed. Awful experience. Picked her up and got home and she began to swell all over her body and face to the point where we had to bring her back. They told us she had a reaction to shots when she was never supposed to get a shot in the first place and then tried to say maybe it was the endotracheal tube they used. They looked at us like nuts for being worried. The "dissolvable" stitches never healed and had to be taken out by my wife and I. Awful staff. Very rude and abrasive. Instead of an actual vet telling us what was wrong we had some cashier trying to stutter his way through an explanation. Do yourself a favor and take your animal to a real vet. Not these idiots. I've been bringing my pooch to Titan Vet for 7 years and have had mixed experiences. The main vet has always been great, but a lot of the support staff around her leaves something to be desired. Over the years they have charged me various prices for the same services and medicines (as in different costs 2 months later, then they go up/down again my next time in, never the same). The cashiers are also running around and always seem overly busy. It's common to be on hold on the phone for a while, and even wait for a bit if you walk into the store side of the store. I'm also surprised that if you call after hours the phone just rings, won't go to a voicemail or give you an emergency number to call. My latest poor experience with TV had to do with my dogs medicine. My dogs prescription renewal had been denied because she needed blood work, no problem so far. However, they did not notify me, and when my dogs prescription was almost out I called to rectify the situation and they said they would call my pharmacy and have a 1-week dosage submitted. Turns out they never called and then closed for the day, so I had to go to an emergency visit at another vet that night. This location really needs a new / better office manager who would organize the clinic differently than it is now, it is the main reason I'm no longer a customer. read more

If I could give no stars I would! I took my dog there as a puppy because he was vomiting a lot. Michelle came back with his X-rays and said he needed emergency surgery because something is either stuck in his intestines or the intestines are digesting themselves, which will lead to necrotic tissue and kill my dog. Being younger at the time (8 years ago) I didn't question it and drove straight to the surgeon in west Greenwich that Titan had referred me to. After a couple of hours waiting the surgeon comes out and said everything looked perfectly healthy and sent me on my way. My poor dogs abdomen was cut open and I was charge over $2k for nothing. I chalked it up to the vets being overly precautious and continued to take my pets to Titan. Luckily they have been healthy and no emergency visits were needed, until recently when I felt a lump on my dogs side. She examined him and said it needs to be removed along with an inflamed hair follicle on his knee. I agreed. I explained how anxious he gets and asked that they call me as soon as he is done so he doesn't panic in their cages. I didn't get a phone call until 7pm (I dropped him off at 10am). When I picked him up I notice that his back leg was shaved and not his side. I asked to speak with the doctor but the rude receptionist said she was gone for the day (her car was parked outside). I asked that she call me, still nothing. The lump that was supposed to be removed was still there. The receptionist lied and said we were lucky she operated on his leg because they found a deeper tumor there. Fearing it was cancer I took my dog to another vet. This vet requested his records and noticed the secret hidden tumor that she happened to stumble upon while cutting into the wrong spot on my dog was never sent to pathology (because there was nothing to send) and only recorded the inflamed follicle in his chart (which we knew what it was before surgery). After all that, the new vet felt the lump and said it is VERY apparent it's a fatty tumor which is not serious. She even aspirated to ease my mind. The moral of my story is Titan Vet is very neglectful and perhaps too busy to pay the much needed attention to your pet. The prices are very low, but you get what you pay for in this case! Spend a couple extra bucks and get your pets the proper care they deserve. read more

If it were possible to give no stars at all I certainly would. Today I received a Titan vet reminder for my dog to get her 1 year rabies vaccine. This would be super helpful if the last time I brought my dog to titan she didn't die right in front of me. Yeah, you read that right. Last year around this time I brought my dog to titan for a simple rabies shot. The vet checked her and also took some samples of some fatty tumors. About 15 minutes after my perfectly happy, bouncy boxer was checked out by the vet ... she proceeded to have a freeze up seizer and fall to the ground shaking. No one around the place was very quick about it. My sister and I who took her were yelling "help, help!!" The vet techs ran over .. picked my dog up and took her to the back and began trying to save her. My sister and I were in total disbelief .. starting to cry in the waiting room hearing them yell out " we don't have a pulse we don't have a pulse!". This was traumatic. They then thought they had stabilized my dog .. they suggested taking her to another animal hospital (wanted to get her off their hands). They decided to tell us to recommend putting her flat in the back seat and drive her to the hospital. She wasn't stable ... in fact she then started to seize up all over again the back seat. The vet techs ran her back inside ... tried a little more and then someone finally came out to my sister and I sitting on the floor crying and asked us to come with them. My dog died that day ... because of careless vet work at titan. And I will tell this horrible story every day that this shitty vet place is brought up. When all of this was done .. they TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR THE VISIT AND RABIES SHOT. I refused to pay them and only paid to have my dogs ashes given back to me. So today, now that you sent me a reminder in the mail about my beautiful boxers 1 year rabies shot ... consider removing from your records all the dogs you've killed or let die on your watch. Stop sending their owners reminders of the terrible decision they made when they decided to save a few bucks and go to a reasonably priced vet. read more
