I will never go here again. I went in just to have a tire patched. They claimed it couldn't be patched, which I kind of didn't believe but that's fine. I brought my car in for a "free" brake inspection. Good news was that I still had some life left in my brakes. Bad news- I got my car back with a broken driver side mirror. The technician and then store manager, Damon would not accept any responsibility for the damage to my side mirror. Clearly an accident, but terribly disappointing that they would not own up to causing the damage. I asked if they had any cameras on site to view film, but no cameras. Furthermore, the store manager accused me of driving the car off the premises and breaking the mirror. I will never go back! Currently here getting work done on my company vehicle. Called ahead to let them know I need snow tires. Told them I called my fleet services and already checked, everything should be approved. Made an appt for Monday morning at 11 am. They were confused about the tires when I arrived, an hour later they asked me if I wanted new tires on my 2021, 14k miles vehicle, obviously no. I wanted snow tires, I already said this. Ok so 30 min go by and I asked if they called for approval? Yes finally they called and got approval. How much longer will it be? 30-40 min? We're not sure. It's now been over two hours. I'm so frustrated and hungry. They apologized for the long wait (and I am posting this many months later) but I'd go somewhere else if I were you. read more

Was told by the young man it'll take about 30-40 minutes for a simple oil change. I arrived at 1:45 and finally got someone to help me at 2. The manager told me my car isn't started yet and asked if someone called me. With no apologies he was curt saying I should have waited for a call! Instead of being annoyed by my hundreds of questions first thing in the morning he was more than willing to help. He even had two tires in stock ready to go. This place is GREAT! Highly recommend to anyone. Towards the end of a 2,000 mile road trip, our tire sprung a leak. We pulled over near the Maple Grove MN Tires Plus and went in to see what we could do for a fix. The store manager, David Harper, was fantastic. He was understanding of our situation and very helpful. Unfortunately, it was near closing time and all of his appointments were booked. However, he went above and beyond by calling area stores to find the tires we needed and made sure they could help us today so we could be on our way. My only wish is that we lived near here, as this location would be my first choice for all of my car's needs! read more

Appointment 7am on 1/3/2024 Issues -Store opened late 7:15ish -Waited 30 minutes only to be told the tires never arrived. A tech was sent to grab the tires. -45 minutes later told they ordered the wrong size tires, and the correct size won't arrive until tomorrow 1/4/2024 at 10am - I tried a different location to get a better experience, and this is by far the worst. I got all 4 tires replaced as well as new brakes and rotors. Felt customer service was good and job was done well. I brought it back to have my radiator exchanged got it in, got it out. Was happy with the service, now one of my belts are squeaking. It's only been three days. I swung by tires plus in Maple Grove, where I had all the work done. and asked if I could get a mechanic just to take a peek to make sure I'm good to go on the highway as I am a salesman on the road all day. I was told by the woman upfront that all her mechanics, were busy. I'm sure this is true. But is it really so challenging to have a mechanic take five minutes of his time just to get a read on situation of a customer that spent over $4500 in the last month on his vehicle? Wasn't asking anything to be fixed. I have no problem making an appointment for that, but since it didn't squeak when I brought it in. I think they can take 10 minutes out of their busy schedule to make sure the vehicle is safe to drive and won't create worse problems, it's called customer service. And since the car has never made any squeaky noises and since the radiator is located next to all the belts, I feel it is safe to say that whatever it is that squeaking started after the new radiator, probably has something to do with tires, plus. The woman was not rude and very matter fact if I wasn't in front of her, I would've thought it was AI. basically her way or the highway now my thought is do I just bring it to another mechanic like Midas? Or do I come back tomorrow for my 9 o'clock appointment to tell me if they made a mistake? If Midas takes care of me, then might gain a new customer that's how the world works. Thieves! My son's headlight bulb went out on his 2013 Kia Soul. He called Tires Plus Maple Grove to help, they were able to get him in that afternoon. My son was quoted $200.00 to unscrew and install a light bulb, he questioned this quote and staff responded it was the cost of labor and they were understaffed. I haven't mentioned that my son has a disability and didn't see reason to distrust him. I called Tires Plus and spoke to the service manager who was very polite, when I asked him how can he justify $200 for a $12 bulb charge he told me they follow the Mitchell 1 labor estimate book. I expressed my disappointment as the Kia video says 5 to 10 minutes, the Supervisor reiterated we follow the book if it says an hour that's what we charge even if it takes 5 minutes to install. He had the nerve to tell me why didn't I help him if he's disabled? We recently had snow and ice cover the roadways and in driving to work I remembered I needed new tires, the vehicle was slipping a bit. I checked Discount Tire and saw what the price would be. For a comparison I decided to check Tires Plus and found I could get two tires for half the price of Discount. I made the appointment at Tires Plus right away. The staff was friendly and taking care in this age of COVID. They were masked and had hand sanitizer available for the customers. They did not try to upsell me on other tires, but rather simply proceeded to mount the tires I had indicated. I was grateful for that. In changing the tires they found I had a crack in one of my rims. The rim was brought out to me so I could see the situation. In addition, they explained that one of the previous tires had suffered some damage owing to this crack and it too needed to be replaced. I found they were customer oriented, making sure I knew what needed to be done and taking care of it. They also explained about some other wheel work that is needed and quoted me a fair price, and quoted me a price on my power steering issues that is consistent with prices I had gotten from other places. And lastly I asked about something else I was once told was wrong and these men said they did not see that issue at all. I thought these men were professional and cared not only for the vehicles they were servicing, but also for the customer. I will gladly return. read more

I moved from Lino Lakes to Maple Grove last year and went to Tire Plus Maple Grove. Their service is professional and they greet all customer. They did not charge me for the worked, done wrong by the Blaine store. They fixed my car with respect. I went one more time in August this year to replace battery of my Buick Encore and got the best service this time also. Work was done on time. Today,I went again for the oil change and they did everything correct and give my car on time with a professional way. I like their friendly and polite service. I had an issue with my wheels. I bought after-market wheels from Tire Rack and went to Tires Plus in Maple Grove to have them put the new wheels on because the Tire Rack website had them listed as a place to have the wheels mounted. After they swapped the wheels, the car shuttered when driving down the road. I took the car back to Tires Plus and they re-balanced the wheels and still the car shook. I took my car to Honest One in Maple Grove to have the factory wheels put back on as I intended to return the after-market wheels I bought thinking they were bad. I told the guy at Honest One about the problem and he said, before we swap the wheels, we'll take a look and see if we can figure out the issue. They asked me if Tires Plus put the wheel centering rings on the hubs and I said no, they said they didn't need them. The Honest One tech said the hub rings are necessary. So, I ran home and got them, meanwhile Honest one checked the wheel balance. When I got back, they said the wheels were still out of balance even after Tires Plus had balanced them twice. Honest One balanced the wheels and put the wheels back on with the centering rings and now the car drives perfectly. I spent $120 at Tires Plus to have the wheels put on and at least 3 hours of my time between the two visits to their store and it was for nothing. They didn't balance the wheels properly after two attempts and didn't use the hub rings I provided to them. I spent several hours researching the issue thinking it had something to do with the new wheels I bought or there was an issue with my car. I was about to return the after-market wheels I bought and even considered getting rid of my car if I couldn't fix the driving issue and thankfully Honest One was able to correct the issue and save me a lot of time and money. Will not be going back to Tires Plus again. read more

I scheduled an oil change and tire repair the previous week for my work van. I set it up at 9AM, thinking it would only take a couple hours at the most. When I called at 1230PM, the truck was still not done and they gave some excuse about separating the two different work orders. They then told me it would be "another 5-10 minutes, however at 3PM, 6 HOURS AFTER my scheduled appointment, I finally was able to take the truck home. Thank God I didn't have to work that day. I went to two tire shops prior to Tires Plus and both said they couldn't install new tires because my car was too low. Tires Plus did a great job with the install and got me in minutes after arriving with no appointment. They have flat drive-on lifts needed for lower cars and the staff knows way more about BMW than I expected. The manager Matt was the friendliest most helpful professional I've worked with. He went above and beyond to help me and my car. Because of this I will prioritize this shop/location, good management is rare and greatly appreciated. I typically took my BMW to the dealership for any service but after my experience here things have changed, I already scheduled an oil change and an alignment. read more

At first we were a little frustrated because we didn't realize that even with an appointment the cars would need so much time for an oil change, we were fine waiting after find this out and decided to go to store near by and watch a movie. Wow, not happy here. I waited a couple weeks and thought about if I should say something or not regarding my experience but, since I am still irritated; off we go with a review. I went in a few months ago for an oil change and tire rotation. I got my vehicle back. Everything was fine except that I got this terrible road noise when I am on the highway. It sounded like I had mudder/off road tires on my SUV. I should have taken right back in but, I didn't which was my fault. I bring my car back in for its scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I mentioned the road noise to the service person that I have been experiencing since the last service performed and they said they would have a look at it. Fast forward a couple hours I get a call from Tires Plus. The service person said I need new struts and shocks. I find this suspect because this problem occurred right after my last rotation. Again, my fault for not bringing it back in immediately. I was quoted $1,000 for the work on the rear wheels and I authorized the work. When I get the call that my work is done, I go into the shop, and the bill is $1,300.00. a $300.00 variance?? This is not Tires Plus's first rodeo in this type of repair. They know their costs for the work to be performed on that specific vehicle (parts/labor). One should expect a small variance in price based on tax etal, but a 30% miss is not acceptable! I have been a customer at this location for well over 10 years and have brought all 7 of my families cars here for service. I am now rethinking my loyalty to establishment. Buyer be ware read more

We've gone to Tires Plus regularly over the last few years. We've bought tires and had service done to our cars. I drive a 6-4 Impala with front and back, side to side... but, that's immaterial for this review. Overall, I have been happy with the service and the integrity of this shop. I'm not taken advantage of here and neither is my wife (so many of these places try to prey on young, smokin' hot women). My one gripe with this garage is that I recently got a 20 minute oil change that lasted nearly an hour and a half. They comped the oil change, but I was still disappointed in their performance. I took my car for brake maintenance and was shocked when the manager called me to tell me I needed new roters, calibers, and brake pads. The total would be over $2K. Wow! And when I questioned the price he started coming down, that he could take this off and and that off. I took my car to Midas down the road. My car didn't need $2K worth of work. I called yesterday making an appt for tires and they saved the tires I wanted. I got here and they find out one tire is not able to be put on so they have to rush delivery one in. This was going to add about 10-15 min past what I would have had to wait had they not haf this issue. He said he'd eat the delivery fee which was nice but I still felt unhappy about the situation. I got my brakes, rotors, etc on the front of my older truck. I asked technician if I needed drum pads on the rear. He said he checked them and doesn't need them. I only drove my truck a few times then my cars brakes were shaking, grabbing.. pushed to the floor. I brought them in the next day and the same technician said he only checked the right brake pad and not the left. He told me the pad was ground all the way down and destroyed everything. So, I asked.. if you would have told me the rear pads were wore down a month ago, I could have gotten away with just drum pads on the rear for $80? Now it's going to cost me $1200? Omg! The manager said it would cost $860 then changed his mind then quoted me $650.. then 5 hours later said $1200. I have sat in my chair since 11 am - 7 pm. 8 hours of waiting and over charged $1100 on a rear brake job! Omg! The manager came out and apologized and said he can take $200 off the price but doesn't want the technician to not get paid because of his mistake and will only charge me $1000. Again.. I did my due diligence and got my front rotors, pads , calipers .. if they would have checked both brakes instead of one side, I would be out $900 Dollars and 8 hours sitting on my ass. I had a slow leak in a tire, but instead of just patching it these guys tired to tell me I REQUIRED FOUR NEW TIRES FOR $1500. I could maybe see TWO tires, Four doesnt make sense. Since I drive a Cadillac they thought they could hose me. Nope. I went to Discount Tire and they fixed the leak for free and six weeks water my tires are all great. Not impressed tires plus. My tire was on a spare and I came in to get it patched , first off they did very good with timing I knew I wasnt Able to get in and out right away but every question I asked The only lady that worked there KEPT getting smart asf idk why but it was very annoying and irriatating . Don't go here. I would give zero stars if I could. Just brought my car in because it was making a loud squeak noise when I braked. The told me it was my front left wheel baring and quoted me some $600. Called Mazda dealership and they were hundreds of dollars less. Brought it in to Mazda and they said nothing was even wrong with the entire car after running diagnostics. They literally tried scamming me.
