I went there recently because I had a flat tire. I told the mechanic I think it just needed to be patched up. He said no way and that a new tire had to be put on. I trusted him and got a new tire. Then he said I needed a coolant flush, brake fluid flush, new brake pads, and new windshield wipers, and that it was urgent that I do all of it that day. I didn't do it. Fast forward a month later to today. I went to Hyundai to get an oil change for my car. I brought up all these "issues" to Hyundai. My service advisor said the car was in great shape and wouldn't need any of those things to be looked at for at least 4-6 months from now. Now I'm starting to think I should've just patched the tire myself in the first place and saved $100. If I had listen to the guys at Tires Plus, I would've gotten totally ripped off. read more

They stripped the lug nuts on my Mercedes and I am now having to buy a whole new set of lug nuts and a wheel lock. I could have gotten an Uber and planned my day differently if they had been upfront. The waiting room was cold, bathroom wasn't clean and doesn't have toilet paper. I went here to get an estimate for my Jeep to get a new ac compressor the day after my dog had an emergency surgery costing me $3800. The man talked down to me like I was a stupid girl. He told me it would be $1500. He told me I shouldn't drive it and better pay them to fix it. I explained I did not have that much money and I drove it home even though he told me it could blow up. I went without a car for a month because of this, making me have to Uber to and from work most days. Luckily for me I eventually talked to my neighbor and she recommended a mechanic 5 minutes from there and guess what!! It only cost $800!!!!!! Tires plus is a heartless money machine. I did my research and there is no way an AC compressor for a 2015 Jeep should cost $1500. I got it fixed from the amazing mechanic down the street. When I brought my car in, I was told I needed a new tire. I couldn't tell whether it was true or not. I had the paperwork filled and then was told to come back in two hours. I was surprised to be informed only then that they were unable to preform the repair on the spot. I made arrangements to be picked up, and then called after two hours. Once my go to spot for oil changes and other car problems is now OFFICIALLY A DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH!! (Tires Plus on State Road 7 has a little better customer servie and maybe more HONEST, but usually has cars all over the place aka long waits.) Like I alluded too Tires Plus use to be the shop I had high faith with! So my car window stopped working and I wasn't sure if it was one of three reasons. One reason being the glass fell off the track, or the more expensive reason being the window motor/regulator was broken. So I took it into Tires Plus and they immediately looked at it (no wait), and within 5 minutes they told me the regulator was damaged and they needed to order both the regulator and motor because on my car it's one unit. Basically telling me the bill will be $300 for parts and labor!! Now are you serious $300?!?!?!? You can find a new regulator all day for $100 including the motor. BUT WAIT IT GETS WORSE!!! So I took it upon myself to purchase a new regulator/motor from Discount Auto Parts for $50, not the $150 Tires Plus wanted. Now are you ready for the GOOD PART!?!?!?! So I scheduled Auto Glass Perfections to come to my work and install the window regulator/motor for $100!! (So now we're at $150 total, and not that insane $300 Tires Plus wanted.) Ok now get this, the Auto Glass tech called me outside after only 5 minutes and said you're window and parts are in excellent condition, the clue on the glass window just needs to be reapplied!!! And after 10 minutes he charged me $60 and not $100, and I can take back the $50 regulator I bought!! Don't worry I'll be visiting this Tires Plus to express my dissatisfaction, and writing a letter to corporate. read more

He personally fixed the problem, which really is impressive and I applaud him for that. I went to tire kingdom and they told me that it was a run to flat tire and not able to patch it because it will not be safe. And once you patch a run to flat tire it will no longer be one. My original thoughts when using this place a couple years ago was to provide a 3-4 star rating. Nothing fantastic, but at least a reasonable rating and the facility was convenient to my office. However, after the disturbing events of my last visit I have lost trust in this company. I went in for a tire rotation, brake and alignment check. Additionally, I had a very slow leak in one of the 4 tires I had purchased from this store 2 years back. On my way to lunch the service manager called to let me know there was a nail in the tire, which he said was in the side wall (after a later inspection I find this to be a questionable call) He explained the cost of replacement for the one tire. That was an immediate red flag. I explained that this is an AWD vehicle and because of this it is never recommended to replace only one tire. With uneven tread wear ...the AWD computer will sense the difference and will constantly be correcting the power applied to each wheel. Over time this will eventually damage the differential You would think that a professional service center, particularly one that is in the business of primarily providing tire service "Tires Plus", would know this fact. I had to enlighten the service manager. Simply scary to think these are industry professionals! I asked what it would cost to change all 4 tires under the hazard protection warranty package I had purchased. He said he would check and get back to me. On the way back from lunch (less than hour later) I passed the service center and saw my vehicle in the parking lot. While traveling back to my office I decided to call to find out what was going on. His comment, oh... I tried calling you (I had looked and I had no missed calls on my cell)... his next comment was that he had decided to go ahead and replace that tire. With the hazard protection you've saved $59 and your cost will be $105. Wait a minute... wasn't he was supposed to call with information about replacing all 4 tires. Well... once I returned to the office I had someone drive me directly over to Tires Plus where I confronted him... asking him... what did I tell you when I dropped off the vehicle? I had told him to inspect and let me know was wrong before performing any work. Doing work without permission is another red flag. That day... there were numerous red flags. I won't go into them all, but sufficed to say, I find their actions sneaky and sleazy. I don't trust them anymore and once any remaining service warranty runs out I won't be returning. To end my story... I had them refit my original tire (which they had to dig out of the back). On the positive side of things, I did notice their showroom was fairly bare and their parking lot was rather empty. Could this be a sign of slowing business? After that experience it doesn't surprise me! After this first-hand experience, my friend who picked me up and dropped me off has decided he won't be using their service center for his wife's SUV which needs 4 new tires. Another $600 loss to their business. My advise to you (reader) is to find another service center. I don't have any recommendations, but try to check out the online reviews beforehand. Not all tire shops, or Tires Pluses, are equal. This shop is excellent. They always keep me informed about what's going on with my vehicle. I never feel pressured. Mike and the rest of the team here are always professional and courteous. Repairs are always completed correctly and delivered when promised. There was a day when I had a problem with a ride to work and they offered to drive me even though they don't offer a shuttle. I always feel like I got a good deal on what I wanted or needed, got offered things that were relevant that I might not have known about and so on. Great shop and great people. *****$6000 for an oil change***** I never expected to have such an act of hate directed at me by a complete unknown. While handling my car, the employee was supposed to change my oil and perform a vehicle check up. Instead he decided to take his anger out me by sabotaging my vehicle. Where in the Tires Plus free check-up and oil service are engine bolts supposed to be loosened to the point where the engine is barely hanging on by a screw thread (literally)? Next leaving the oil cap just on enough for the driver to leave the shop and jiggle the cap loose, causing catastrophic oil loss and massive engine failure? Then finishing the job by scribbling "I HATE TIRES PLUS" and signing your name and date? After a tow and the discovery of what Tires Plus did to my car, it was recommended by two separate mechanics I buy a new engine, totaling over $4000. I contacted the police and the employee admitted to writing on my car and not tightening the cap because he was "having a bad day." Now Tires Plus is refusing to pay the bill, claiming that they're not responsible. So I'm filing a lawsuit against Tires Plus for gross negligence and fraud. Tires Plus should have known this guy was dangerous and unfit to work on cars. So far Tires Plus has refused to admit fault or reimburse me for my expenses. They continue to call my attorney with unprofessional and harassing language. What was a simple oil change has turned into a life-changing nightmare. Wow! What a day. Went on line, selected the correct tires for my car and to schedule an apt to have TWO tires installed. No email response, so I called and was told "come on in". This was about 10am. Because of the rebate, I opted for four tires, and of course they tried to sell me most everything for the car. Now we're at the 1 1/2 hr mark. With a tire purchase, Tires Plus checks your front end alignment for free, of course it's going to be a bit out,( wanna spend $79 to fix it?) I was a nice guy, got the things done I needed, and they put the car on the rack for the front end check. About 2hr 15 min into the ordeal, they came and told me my car was stuck in the UP position, really! They rented a car for me and it was in my driveway for, seriously, for 10 min when they called and said all was done. Everything's ok. I got there, went to pay my bill---No discount---NOTHING!-- Not even the 59 min guarantee! The first thing you see on their ad! "Done in 59 min or less guaranteed or $59 back plus an oil change" Simply took my payment and a "sorry for the delay". May not be the employees fault, but their management should empower them to discount the client SOMETHING and offer to schedule a free oil change according their own ad. Stopped in at 8 am for an alignment on a 1967 mustang. The shop was totally empty other than one person getting a quote for tires, and only 1 car in the 8 bays, so I waited. After 20 minutes another sales rep came to the counter and asked if I needed help. I asked for an alignment on a 67 Ford Mustang and was told, "not sure if we can do that... We don't have the specs." Told him I had the specs from ford and that it calls for bias ply settings based on original equipment. Most muscle car guys like me have switched to radials for a better ride and need the castor settings bumped up to 2 1/4 positive (LH) and 2 1/2 positive (RH) instead of setting it at +1 for both sides. This is common stuff that any tire shop should know and yet they couldn't do it? Any tire shop that doesn't know this shouldn't be working on any car... Guess that's why they were empty... So I left and went to Goodyear on federal and Hillsboro. Thank god, awesome group of guys... And they knew exactly what to do... No more Tires Plus... read more

I was so impressed with Mike Anderson and his team--and the mechanic who worked on my car (Christopher). The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Everyone was attentive and friendly even though things were busy. After the diagnostic/inspection was completed, I was told over the phone there were some very serious safety issues with my vehicle. I returned to Tires Plus because I was very worried and concerned. Mike A took over when I arrived, and he reviewed and explained each item with me and answered all my questions. He even put my car on the lift to show me the brakes, ball-joints, etc that were so badly damaged and dangerous. Something very important that my previous repair shop (a major brand-name chain) had missed or neglected. I was shocked. This was so helpful to actually see their poor condition, and to help me understand all the parts and labor that would be involved (as it was very expensive and unexpected). Mike was very patient, and even helped me prioritize the most important repairs needed ASAP for safety, and which ones could wait a few weeks (will be getting new tires soon). I felt he was very honest and concerned. I'm so happy today, as my car is driving like it never has. Safety is the #1 important issue for me. I'm relieved that I now have a repair shop and staff I can TRUST to take the best care of my car. It's a little out of my way in Boca--but it's worth the trip and extra time. I was worried the work couldn't be completed in 1 day--but Mike assured me they would get it all done--it was even finished before I expected it. Also, I was glad to find my car was very clean when I picked it up, and the mechanics hadn't made a mess. What a surprise--I have already told 3 people today about Mike and his shop.
