I regret that I only have 5 stars to give. I'd go higher if I could. I made an appointment for brake pads and an oil change. Given the sounds my car was making...I suspected it may be more, but crossed my fingers and hoped. When I went in for the appointment, Nick and I went on a test drive so I could let him know what sounds were....not right. He knew immediately. Also took the time to show me where the specific damage was and went through my options. A little more than what I'd scheduled for, but I also knew sounds like that are probably not as easy on the wallet as one hopes for. However, Nick made sure I fully understood what was wrong, what parts needed replacement, and gave me options. In addition -- even though it was a little more work than originally planned, he still kept me in my time frame and the work was top notch. And, while it was still more expensive than I'd hoped -- it was still far more reasonable given the work that had to be done and they did it quickly. I appreciated their respect of my time and my budget. My first visit to Elite will NOT be my last, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you go here, you will feel very confident that their work is solid, and you are not getting taken for a ride on the cost. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had at any auto shop and worst experience with Groupon (and I've used Groupon for 15 years). I purchased the Groupon for around $100 for front brake pads only. That was all I needed done in order to drive my car out of state, which I then planned on selling. Even though the location was in the same city I lived in, it took a half hour to get there. I brought my laptop in the hopes I could work while I got the work done. Unfortunately the worker there seemed miserable and redeemed my Groupon right away. There was no AC and if you live in south FL you know that's a no-no, so I had to pay for an uber for the half hour home. I should've just listened to my intuition, but ya know, sunk cost fallacy and all. I got a call back from the owner who acted nice, but claimed I needed 2K worth of work which was BS. Which they "conveniently" offer finance for. My husband has been handling my car and that work was not needed whatsoever. I only needed front brake pads replaced. I asked if he could just do the service I already paid for, and he said no. Front and back pads needed to be replaced plus rotors (biggest trick in the book). I had to have my husband call from out of state and threaten to release my car. So another uber, another hour lost of work. The original worker was in a better mood and kind of rolled his eyes and said "is he trying to charge you another 2-3K?" So clearly something he regularly does. Since the Groupon was never redeemed, I opened a ticket assuming I'd get a refund and move on with my life. Well Instead it turned into a week-long back and forth nonsense thing with the shop owner telling all kinds of lies. Groupon kept asking if they could refund me, and suddenly he was able to just do the pads now. Absolutely not, I wasn't losing more hours of my life to a shady shop. So ultimately, I ended up only getting less than half of what I paid for. In Groupon bucks!! Never never never again, stay clear. I wish I could give negative stars. If you go back a couple of reviews, my car was shaky and we brought it to that amazing tire shop in Port St. Lucie. They agreed nothing was needed but alignment and new tire. My car has been running great ever since. She made it all the way out of state, driving through hills and mountains, and drives back and forth an hour each way for weeks. No issues. So no, that extra work was not needed. read more

No this is not a place to have you car serviced , the people there are not qualified to own tools, scam operation at the highest level, damaged a perfect classic car by leaving a tool in the engine bay and closing the hood leaving a dent in a perfect hood, still the oil leak was not fixed and screwed up the carburetor and I can go on and on claimed to work on classic car, not true, they say so, but not true ,again avoid this shop, and don't pay with ZELLE, better, Don't go there at all, if you see a review on here is is from there friends who don't own a car stay away from them, you won't be sorry, no star here read more

I gave them time to produce my parts and my receipt from the last work I had done by another mechanic (water pump, hoses) no one responded. My next step is to file a police report with the Boca Raton Police Department. I don't like what is happening here and will not stand for it. Get your act together and don't steal from customers. Horrible experience. I called in advance to confirm a PRICE to install a BMW battery I had already purchased. They quoted $90, I wrote it down with their address and phone number. I arranged to get there, a location behind stores, off any main road. This should have been a warning sign in and of itself. I get there, and the guy quotes me $365 instead! For 0.6 hour of work, per the computer at multiple shops!? And they give NO invoice, no computer printout? I asked for something in WRITING confirming that they have my car and my $90 price, but the guy gives me a biz card and writes that I was "told" $90, but that he told me $365. Then he tells me that he'll have to check with the owner, with whom I probs spoke? So I have to Uber home not knowing my price, but I am stuck b/c I need the battery changed. So he calls me at home later, after my $15 Uber, and tells me it's now $180, DOUBLE the agreed price on the phone. I offered to split the difference, just to get it done, which is still a 50% screw job, and they not only demur, but they tell me to come and get my car, b/c I am 'the problem'! B/c I won't let them screw me ? Please... Plus, I had the office guy assure me that I could come retrieve the car AFTER they closed at 5pm with them leaving the key on the tire, b/c I work late. He said fine, they have cameras, etc. But once the owner told me to go away b/c I wouldn't pay his inflated price, he also stated that I had to get there before they closed, causing me to miss work and Uber back yet again! What a colossal waste of time! They are MOST unprofessional, discourteous, and lack integrity, they're just swindlers and liars. Run away, don't walk. Run. read more

I have a higher end car that recently had a warning light come on for my brakes. I called several shops in the area for quotes & as far as pricing goes - I would say Elite came in right about the same or a little under the other prices I received. I was given a disclaimer that they were a little more backed up than usual, which I appreciated knowing ahead of time. I dropped my car off and it was ready in about 24 hours (not bad for being backed up!), as promised. They stayed in constant communication with me and were always pleasant. I will continue to go there for routine maintenance on my car and I highly recommend. read more

I was quoted 225.00 dollars for a oil change and filter at Alfa Romeo dealership .I thought that was a little bit too much . They got it right the first time! I took it in for a very bad shaking in the steering wheel when stopping quickly at high speed. They do a thorough inspection and recommended brakes (pads & rotors) and some suspension repairs (bearings, etc.). They had the car Saturday, Monday & I got it back mid-day Monday. They were super polite, courteous & respectful. Explained everything and helped me with my Autopass card. I would use them again for sure. We went through 3 other highly recommended repair shops for my husband's van's brakes. This was a relief. read more

DRIVE AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FAST...VERY FAST... BETTER YET DON'T STOP HERE AT ALL. My son after reading the reviews brought his car here for a new key and an oil change. Pierre looked at the tires and recommended new front end tires. We agreed. Pierre told us he would look over the car as it was a 2012 with low mileage approximately 32000. The car was towed to Elite (hardly) auto repair on Friday morning. He was promised the car on Monday afternoon at the latest. On Monday the phone calls from Pierre started. Multiple calls telling us other things we should do because of the age of the car, which Pierre said was a great car mechanically, when my son said he did not have the money for all the repairs, he pushed on every phone call for me or my son to fill out a credit application for zero percent financing, after saying no multiple times, he finally requested full payment. Foolishly I did give him full payment. Alarm bells should have gone off at that point...that's on me...Monday afternoon no car but phone calls recommending he fill out a credit application or I fill one out. My son was promised his car on Tuesday. More calls and request for a credit application on, Tuesday. Still no car. Promised car on Wednesday morning. No car, we called around noon, he said it would be ready by 1pm no car. 2:30 He calls my son and says he is taking the car on a test drive. We arrive at the shop to pick up the car at 3:20 and tell him we are here.:, he is no where to be found. I ask for his ETA no response. He says 15 minutes away. Then he says that he took an extended test drive and claims he put gas in the car. He did not. At 3:24 I text him, where are you, we will come to you. No answer Finally, we go home. I text him that if the car is not at the shop in 15 minutes, I am getting Boca Raton police involved. He texts me that the car is ready. When my son finally gets the car, the tires are on, we have a working key, no oil change. Wait you thought I was done??? Not by a long stretch.and The following day his car overheated when he looked underneath the car it looked like oil l but turns out it was radiator fluid. Pierre left the radiator cap off. It is hard to say whether it was intentional or incompetent or something else. Fortunately, we were near another mechanic who immediately took the car in immediately and found part of the problem. Not done yet.....Now the check engine light is going on.......$875.79 my total bill from this "mechanic"? There is something so wrong with this shop and this guy..... read more

Great customer service. 1st time I used Yelp for car repair. I was messaged back within 15 minutes. The owner Nick is knowledgeable and geared towards helping their customers. He explained the issue with my car, gave a reasonable quote and told me how long it would take for the repairs. He delivered everything he promised; how refreshing and unusual. I found a great, local auto repair shop in Boca Raton They have another location in Delray Beach, both are convenient to me. The engine light on my 2006 Saab was on. I took the car to Elite. They checked the problem and then drove the car long enough to tell me that the light had been tripped, but nothing was wrong. They didn't charge me at all for their time and we're very nice. I will definitely go back. read more

I have officially undergone one of the most unprofessional services yet. I went in with a Groupon for an oil change & became frustrated spending an extra $20 upgrading to full synthetic explaining my stance in school. I finally said yes after contemplating for some time. I was then recommended another service that I didn't fully understand more than a metal piece needing to be changed and was told it would cost 17.48. After asking that there would NOT BE ANY EXTRA CHARGE and reiterating that the extra service was only 17.48 plus the $20 up charge for the oil change after using the Groupon I said okay for. Not realizing when my car was done I had a total of $1,748. I was never shown any paperwork or receipts saying this was really the charge, nor did I even sign any paperwork! He finally stated that my entire shocks were replaced. It's ridiculous, especially knowing that I barely wanted to pay the extra $20 and stating the price as 17.48 without document showing the price actually in the thousands. The owner then came and would not take off the parts that I clearly could not afford even after being told the price improperly. I was then forced into a payment plan as my only way to cover the full charges. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional place. Yes, I was given the car over night due to saying that I couldn't wait the few hours for my car to be complete. So I ended up saying yes to the rental car for the night, not because the service that long. Also, I would not have to mention the service again if the price was already mentioned, without change being mentioned until the next day. If there were 10 stars I'd give them all! I've brought my VW here for oil changes but this time my mother's old Civic had what was diagnosed by someone else an alternator issue and bad battery ($$$). Brought it in to Mo, and within 10 minutes he said both battery and alternator were good -- there was a $10 part that was causing the battery drainage (brake brushing?). Not only did he get the part within a few hours m, he had a lovely guy Joseph drop me and my mother off so we didn't have to be stuck there. Ok - so, saved potential $400, got a ride to wait comfortably at home AND Mo and Joseph dropped the car off -- all by 3:30! We're still in shock lol! I'll never bring my car or my mother's anywhere else. Kind, honest, generous-- words not usually associated with an auto repair shop! Thank you again Mo and Joseph (and trainee Balanta!) -- it's almost going overboard to say this but somehow the A/C works better than ever!! If I could give them a 0 I would! I have never been to somewhere where it's so unorganized, no communication. This place is a complete disaster and all they want to do is take your money! I'm so dissatisfied with the customer service of this place, when contacting the owner of this place he kept giving me the run around on why a part in my car was broken by his mechanics. He tried to give me a 15$ gift card to Starbucks to make everything better after I spent almost $1,000 because of a mistake that was made in their end. To top things off I had to go purchase the part they broke and bring it to them so they can fix it and still had to pay for labor. They said they would bring back my car to my house. And when I went to turn on my car it doesn't turn on at all! Such a waste of money and time. To anyone who wants to take their car to here don't!
