The Pothole Gremlin finally got me. I will only whine a bit. After all, it's been over four decades since I have been visited. After weighing all of my options from new rim and/or tire to a reclaimed set, I settled on Tire Stop. I chose Tire Stop for a few reasons. Tire Stop was recommended by a coworker. I politely thanked him, but I have always bought new when caring for my vehicles. After all, my nearly new Honda Fit doesn't even have 15k miles on it. Priced that option at $500 (eegads!). Going to a reclamation center (junk yard) was still going to be ~$300. Really? I finally made my appointment (HIGHLY recommend). How about $53 with tax AND a tire (AND a warranty). I took my car to a tire store and was told my rim and tire were ruined. The guys at Tire Stop showed me the nick in the side wall of my tire and they told me my steel rims are nearly indestructible and a new rim was not needed. Great service even for a woman. I was a little nervous because it is known that a lot of car service places take advantage of women and over charge them. My husband told me how much he typically pays to get 4 tires put on and that is exactly what they charged me. This is my go to place for used tires. Nice tire shop for used and new tires. With michigan roads you can't always buy new tires. Last time I got lucky, got a set of tires (used but excellent condition) for $350 for my truck. Generally runs about 800 bucks. They called it take off tires. The other time got a used tire for 50 bucks. Needed some thing temporary before I ordered a set from Costco. They generally take care, if there is any issue with the tire, even if is used. Super friendly and helpful people. This place gets busy. I would have given full 5 stars if the driveway was paved.. lol. read more

My tire blew on the way home from Ohio and I had a spare to get me home. The next morning this tire stop close to home opened early at 8 am. They were very friendly and responsive. The workers here know what they are talking about! They are attentive and get the job done. They have everything from small cars to truck tires and rims. Used tires go from $30-50 and new well that all depends on brand and size. Overall I was very pleased. I was in and out. Will return! read more

Woke up to a flat tire. I was able to get enough air in it and drive here on my way to work. Upon my arrival I was greeted by one of the gentleman that works there. Told him my situation and he got me right in. The tire I purchased was in great shape and the price was reasonable. The service was great and the guys seemed very helpful and compassionate. Tire Stop LLC screwed my ex-wife over. I went in with her because she had a screw in her Tire to get a patch job I paid for it and left and then I found out that they're saying that it's dry rotted so I said no problem talk to the guy on the counter over the phone and decided I'll just send the money to Mike's wife so she can get her car her tire fixed so he tells me brand new tires $90. I'm like cool so I sent the difference between the money I paid for the patchwork for the new tire. Then when I'm talking to my ex-wife the guy comes up and says there's a crack in the wheel will be like to fix the wheel and it's going to be $45. He tells me he'll do it out the door for 1:10 with a used tire and I said no we're doing the new tire he's like no we're doing a used tire and I said no I want the new tire $90 that's what I just was told he's like well I don't know if we have any and I told him that the guy on the phone just told me he has a ton of new tires in the back. So he says okay 1:15 with everything because of my $20 I've already paid and $45 for the repair and $90 for the new tire. I said great I send a difference that is needed to my ex-wife just to find out that they started telling her something different. I'm trying to charge them 150 but they said we'll do you a solid and just take whatever's on your card. Already very shady. I call him back the guy is telling me it is 110 for the tire 45 for the repair now when he spoke with my ex-wife he told her 1:20 for the new tire 50 for the repair. It's already they're all over the place but I find it very convenient to the decided to do this soon as I left. just taking advantage of a woman with a child in the backseat. I have been coming to this place for years I have sworn by this place I have suggested it up and down to everybody but now I'm telling everybody to stay far away from this place. They'll treat you right if you're a male but I'm sure they're going to screw you over the moment that you're a single female and they're by yourself. It's a terribly sad thing to find out because this place has been so good to me and I just can't believe that this is what happened. read more

Overall a very reasonable place to go for tires. The workers will explain to you what is wrong with your tires and what they going to do to fix it. As far as the reception area needs cleaning and dusty. The customer service in the front reception area needs improvement. I needed to buy a tire on a budget. So I wanted to buy a "good used" tire. I went to TWO different places and both said my tire is a "special" tire and neither place had it, but one of the places recommended this place. Ok, let me start of by saying as a woman I'm always cautious when doing ANYTHING related to my vehicles & it causes me anxiety because I never know if I'm being taken advantage of. With that being said, not only did they have the tire...NO haggling was necessary!! My brother told me how much I should pay for the tire to give me a frame of reference and I paid less than that.
