I came in for an ac recharge and an oil change and I said there was a leak. This guy AL says he can't recharge it because it will be a 10 k fine if he charges it with a leak. I said okay so fix the leak. He said you said they have to raise the engine and then I said that's what I was told are there notes in the computer? I asked him if he found the leak. He said we didn't look. It will cost us 173 to look and if it's a leak we can't fix the we have to remove the Freon and still charge you. I said I'm in a mechanic shop you fix leaks here correct? He said I don't like how you are talking to me said here your keys and kicked me out of the store! I took my key and said I want to speak to the manager. He refused to show me the manger so I had to ask another employee for the manager who luckily happened to be the manger. The employee said I was yelling at him and I was upset, but I DID NOT yell. I did however spoke sternly because how are you not going to fix my car based off NO NOTES in the computer and NO DIAGNOSTIC on my car? The manger said I'll take care of you from now on. I said I wanted to put in a complaint against the employee but the manger ignored me. He took my car and went to check the ac. At this point I'm having a full blown panic attack because if I was a MAN and NOT A WOMAN he would not have spoken to me that way. I was willing to spend the "thousands of dollars" (according to the manger), to fix it. Don't mechanic shops want thousand dollar jobs? I had to call my boyfriend at work to come get me. Let me tell you, when my boyfriend came in he simply went up to another guy, white guy, red beard, glasses don't know his name, who was very nice and apologized for my hard time, and asked to simply return the car to me. This guy got up and went back with in minutes my car was given back to me with no charge. If you are a WOMAN beware of speaking to AL at this Belle tire. Save yourself the frustration and go to a different shop.

In all of the years I have been going here I have never once been charged for a flat to be repaired. Policy has always been that if since I purchased the tires there they wouldn't charge. Manager says this is no longer the policy. Well this new policy just cost you a long time customer. I have bought tires for personal and work vehicles and have referred at 25-30 friends and family members here to buy their tires. Since Monro bought this location a few years ago the service has declined. I will never again use this location nor will I recommend Monro to anyone.

He will tell you when something is wrong with your car, but if it doesn't need to be repaired, or just doesn't need to be yet, he'll tell you, and he'll explain why. He takes me and shows me what he's talking about on my car. Plus, they always have those Valpak coupons, so it's cheap too! And lifetime warranties on brake pads and rotors!
