I rolled into Nashville from Western New York at about 5:30pm on a Friday in my 2018 Honda CRV and it started making AWFUL noises. I was not thrilled. I quickly googled auto repair places that were open and would have Saturday hours because I was supposed to drive home by noon on Monday. Tire Discounters fit both of those criteria and *bonus* was within walking distance of my hotel. I called and asked if they could do a quick safety check. They were polite and said absolutely. It's a good thing I went. Front and rear brakes, calipers, and rotors as well as the outer tie-rods and sway bar links had all decided to go at the same time. Armando - the store manager- was kind and showed me the damage. And bless him, they had to go all over Nashville to source the parts and get them put on my car in time for me to leave exactly when I needed to. They went above and beyond, for sure, and helped me save as much money as I could on such an extensive, unexpected repair. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I brought my Lexus RX 350 for a routine oil change. Upon doing so, I was told the brake fluid needed service and the battery needed to be replaced. So I paid $582 for the mentioned additional services with the oil change.  As soon as I left and was driving not even three blocks away, I tried to roll down my windows from the driver's side to no avail. The only window that rolled down from the driver window control panel was the drivers side window. All the other windows I had to manually go to each door to roll them down individually from their door switch. I had NONE of these issues before. All of the windows and switches had been working prior to my visit at your store.  I immediately called the store, and they said something tripped up while they were replacing the battery and asked me to bring it right back in. It was not convenient for my schedule, but I was happy they were willing to take responsibility and fix the problem they created (as I should be able to roll down all of my windows). When I brought it back in five minutes later, it was another 30 mins or so of me waiting for my SUV to be repaired. When the associate came and got me, they told me that they did some research and found out what the mechanic did wrong and that they will pay attention moving forward when replacing car batteries on similar models. So once again they said it was their lack of knowledge or experience that led to this situation.  That being, they also informed me that they tried to fix the window issue, but now the back two windows do NOT roll down at all (not even from the individual door panels). I was then told I need to go purchase a master switch and then bring it and my vehicle back in AND pay more to have Tire Discounters install it. This is absolutely unacceptable.  I questioned why I am having to pay more for their mistakes. I was told there's nothing they can do, but if I brought it back on a certain date when the other manager wasn't there that they could get the installment slightly cheaper for me. This all has felt very shady, beyond disappointing. This visit was absolutely abysmal; honestly I thought they were joking. I contacted the corporate office, as I wanted a refund for the time, lack of service and not trusting them to do service further on my vehicle. I emailed, called, left messages. There was no response. Nearly a week later, the only number I could get through to speak with an actual human was on was their Human Resources payroll line. They forwarded it to a regional manager. The manager told me to bring the vehicle in to a location more than 30 minutes away, "to see" if they can fix it. That is a minimum of a one hour commute round trip, and here in Nashville with traffic we all know how that goes. I spent nearly $600 for all these shenanigans and for my vehicle to be in worst shape than before I brought it in. I was patient and polite and asked them to make it right, but nothing was done outside of expecting the customer to keep investing time, energy, money and resources for the lack of services. read more

Update: 6 weeks since the damage and it still hasn't been fixed due to evasion by Tire Discounters. I got 2 estimates and dropped them off over a month ago. I was assured that TD would set up the drop off with whichever body shop they decide to choose. I still have not heard back. I've had several tires serviced here. on a previous service the wheel lock not key was apparently used and not returned to me or into the vehicle. when returning for yet another tire replacement the lock key was missing. i advised that the last time it had been used was at tire discounters. had to have vehicle towed for $230 and order a custom lock nut key from mercedes for over $400. unacceptable service and additional out of pocket expense. read more

Dropped off my car today at noon for 4 new tires. Was told that I would get a free alignment and oil change. Was told it would be an hour or two. After no response and several calls, They finally got my car done after closing time (6:30pm). It took all day just to have the tires fulfilled. I also learned that one of my lug nuts broke coming off and that they didn't change the oil. The whole point of coming here over Discount Tire was because I thought i would receive better service and a free oil change. Turns out I paid more money to get neither of these offerings. read more

Bought 4 new tires and they left a lug nut off my vehicle which caused it to shake dangerously on the interstate. The mechanics left grease all over my tan seats, busted my lug nut caps, and the alignment they did made my car drive worse than it did with a spare donut on it. Manager is nonchalant like nothing was wrong. Tried to contact the websites customer service which said the regional manager would be in touch. That was Monday so it's been almost 5 days. A dream from beginning to end for tire repair/replacement. I placed a request on their website on a Sunday night, and they called me first thing Monday morning. Their "skip the shop" service includes picking up and dropping off your car from home or work, and that was a major time-saver. I really appreciated that they tried to repair the tire first before jumping to needing to replace it. I felt like they were looking out for me, not just trying to make a quick buck. Would give them zero stars. Brought in my car for an alignment, had a slight shake in my steering wheel. After paying $160, it's now pulling to the right and still out of alignment according to their own records. Instead of telling me that I needed new tires BEFORE the service, they did an alignment and then tried to sell me a new set. It's absolutely unacceptable that my car is worse now than it was when I brought it in. Worst customer service ever. I schedule an appointment for 8 AM on Monday morning. They tell me they have the tires in. I show up at 8 AM. Nobody is in front of me. And I have an appointment. I went for a walk at about 910 I show back up my jeep. Tires are still on the jeep Lifted at about 945. I asked how long it would be for a service that should only take an hour hour and a half max with alignment. 1045 as I'm pacing back-and-forth getting visibly upset at how long it's taking for something that should've been an hour and a half at the most just for the service the gentleman working the front counter comes up and informs me that they don't have the tires and that he had expected them at around 8:30 but they still weren't here. The driver was running behind. I immediately ask him why the 2 1/2 hours Into this experience, I am only just finding out that the tires aren't even here. I explained that I would like a little bit of transparency and had I known I could've adjusted my schedule to what they were dealing with. He tells me that the tires are on the way at about 11. I tell him I have to leave as I tell him to put my old tires back on my jeep I go inside. When I come outside, I see that they have one tire on my jeep and it's new I tell them what are you doing? He's like well you tires arrived. I look at him and say but I told you to put on the old ones I'd rather not give you $1000 worth of my money if this is how you treat customers. And then with one new tire on the jeep I felt obligated to allow them to install the new tires. I'm amazed at the lack of concern they have for customers time and frankly patience. read more

I had an awful experience at the Tire Discounters downtown Nashville. Stay away from this location and save your time, money and energy. I called a week prior to make an appointment and price out new tires along with tire pressure sensors. When I showed up on the planned Friday, the appointment was never made and tires weren't there. They were able to find comparable tires and get me in still which was appreciated. But after waiting 5 and a half hours, they had mounted the wrong tires on the wrong wheels (the wheels are wider in the back than the front) and the tire pressure sensors were still not working. They said to come back the next day and they would get me in right away to fix everything. After waiting another two and half hours that Saturday, the tire pressure sensors were still not working. They told me to go to another location 30+ minutes away to see if they could fix them. That being an inconvenience, I asked for a refund for just the sensors, which they refused unless I went to another location. I eventually did take it to another location (Tire discounters in Goodlettsville) and they said the tire pressure monitors were never installed. The Goodlettsville locations fixed everything and were great from beginning to end. Stay far, far, far away from the Tire Discounters Downtown Nashville. read more

Where to begin with this. On 2/22, I brought my car in at noon. I was told it would be completed by 5pm. I called at 4:30 and was told that it would be fine to pick up in twenty min. Ok, cool! Nope, not cool. I got there and this girl whose name I believe is Gabby, firstly mistakes me for someone else. Then tells me my car will be done "shortly" and I can wait in the waiting area. Ok, not what I was told on the phone, but I'll wait. So after a few minutes, I decided that the term shortly wasn't acceptable to me. I wanted to know what time it would be completed because they were about to close, I need to arrange for a ride if it's not going to be done. She decides to interrupt me while I ask the other service advisor telling me that she already told me it would be done shortly. Well, she's a lazy liar. The other service advisor, Antoine, got up, went to the service bay and ASKED the tech how long it would be. Only to be told THEY DIDNT EVEN HAVE MY TIRE IN STOCK!!! So good ol' Gabby, told me it would be done shortly yet didn't even get off her incompetent a** to check. So I guess I would've sat there til they closed waiting on a car that wasn't being serviced. I also asked them to remove a piece from my undercarriage to which I was told ok and it wasn't completed. All in all, I had a miserable experience minus Antoine. He was pleasant and helpful. I also spoke with a manager named Emmanuel, and he was ok, not outstanding, just meh. He didn't really care what my complaint was, which I expected. It's a tire shop, after all. I hate to contact corporate offices, but that's what will be happening. Thankfully I had the entire interaction with Gabby recorded on my phone, so I'm grateful for that. Don't waste your time or money at this location. Be prepared to leave your vehicle overnight. I'm not exaggerating. Even my coworker took her car there and it was in their possession for two days. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's fine if you need more repair time, but but upfront and honest about it. Some of us cannot just arrange for quick rides to and from home and work. read more

This location of TD lies, fronts ridiculous arguments, my not *actually* do work they're requested to do. It's straight forgery, lying, and we are out hundreds of dollars because of that bullfuckkngshit. It's taken a long time to get the energy to write this evaluation because they've messed us up *so* badly. If you need tire service DO NOT GO HERE. We had tire go down and took it to the tire discounter at 1931 Church Street in Nashville, tn and after two hours they said it was do done. As soon as we left the air pressure started down. We then went to discount tire and they are checking it now. Tire discounters did not charge us but we have been told that if they did not fix the leak there is a possibility that they ruined the tire. Just beware if you value your time and equipment. UPDATE.... Turns out that tire discounters did nothing. The problem was a cut in the side wall. They did not say anything about it. My wife even felt bad that they did not charge so she tipped them for the effort THEY DID NOT DO. Shisters twice over. This was a danger to both my wife and I. Lesson learned here. This is a family-owned business so if your experience is not great it doesn't really matter, or nothing is done about it just risky. Not happy with the service completed or the customer service. I requested a call before any repairs were done and that did not happen. I feel the work was halfway done, which is a huge liability. I had so many valid questions for my situation that did not get answered before or after the service was done. The assistant mgr. will tell you she is the manager when you ask to speak to someone, but she is not. She will also ignore questions; make you feel she's too busy for your concerns, other times she couldn't find my warrant told me I didn't have one then she finally found it just stressful. I was at work while the tire/repairs were getting done so communication was very important. I'm not big on leaving negative reviews but this is not my first time having a bad experience at this location (Church St-Nashville). If you have time to sit all day and be on site to monitor what they are doing, however if you're a busy mom like me, I wouldn't recommend this place for service. Also, they are no longer accepting over the phone payments even if you have the tire discounters credit card. They will not ask you to add warranty or make any suggestions for anything regardless of liability. Overall, I would just pick another location. Had a nail and slow leak while traveling thru Nashville, went in at 3:30 and was told they would get to it before closing if we could wait......walked around and had a snack to give them some time, came back at 5:15 and they were pulling in the car in. I drove in from waaaaaay out of town. Noticed I had a major metal bolt in my tire tread. I dropped my car off on Saturday morning to see if they could repair the tire. Cynical me half expected them to see my CA license plates and tell me that I needed a new tire or two. A couple of hours later I went to pick it up and the tire dude said "your all set." I asked the cost and he said no charge. I was stunned. He refused to take any money and said "have a safe trip!" This restored my faith in humanity. Had a slow leak in a tire, stopped by to get it fixed. While checking out I happened to look down and see the work order has written "Could not find leak, filled tire with air ". I had just paid $43.00 to have my tire aired up! I question the charge, clerk got upset, told me to talk to the manager. The last time I came, they destroyed my tire while loading it into the bay then forced me to buy a new tire. This time, I brought my car in on Saturday morning for pickup the same day, and they called me one time 20 minutes before they closed and did not repair my tires. I brought my car in to get my very old and worn tires rotated and aligned. I called the day before and was able to get an appointment that next morning. They were ready for me as soon I arrived, and took a look at my tires and were very upfront with me that what I actually needed was new tires, and candidly showed me exactly why on each tire that it was time for a fresh set. Gabi was great at working with me to get a new set at a reasonable price and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to pick up my car before noon same day. Do Not Take Your Car Here! After a number of days waiting to hear back on the diagnosis I was informed that I had a bent rim (I hit a pothole). When I asked about the tire itself they just recommended I buy 2 new tires just to make sure the tire was good. I bought new tires from them just 7 months prior... - 1 1/2 weeks to get a new rim. Its was the wrong rim but they installed anyway. But of course it was recommended that I just purchase the 3 other matching rims. ( I don't think so) - Stolen Item! The top tray piece in my center consul was missing. It included my Limousine driving permits and money. I talked to the GM about this and he had no idea where it could be, but told me he would personally go pick up a replacement tray. It's been 3 weeks so far, and after stopping in it still is not replaced. The GM seems to always have left for the day if someone actually picks up my call, but mostly the call never gets picked up at this point. read more

I do not suggest taking your vehicle here, even if for a simple tire change. I recently hit a pothole and brought my car into the shop. After being in the shop OVERNIGHT, they were finally able to replace my tire after 48 hours. I drove the car off the lot and the noise my car made was horrific. Pulled over and got the car towed to the dealer because I do not trust Tire Discounter. Come to find out I had a bent rim, damaged axel, in need of an alignment, and damaged bearings. I bought four new tires from this company and not only did they not install them correctly, after three separate attempts to get one of my tire pressure censors online they were unable to. They sent me to the dealership to have this issue resolved and saddled me with the entire bill when they deemed it to cost "too much". Mine was a very unique situation. I did not realize the tires put on 4 months eariler were not the correct tires which should have been run flats for our BMW. Its difficult to tell the difference. I took them back explaining to the manager Sean Holder and Amber. Even though my receipt showed the regular tires. They told me I was right and they would fully fix the situation and ordered the run flat tires. A few days later putting them on, giving me a new receipt, not a penny cost to me.
