This place is the greatest! You never feel like they are performing services that you don't need. The prices are fair and there is no nonsense. They are pretty fast as well in getting things done. I'm so thankful I found them when I moved here 3 years ago. read more

They took advantage of an OLD LADY: a 2008 Honda Fit that just needed new weatherproofing around a window, and new A/C. After "diagnosing" the window problem (cost $111 for them to tell us what we already told them up front), and "diagnosing" the A/C issue (cost $279 before doing any repairs), we were told it would be $2K to actually do any work on my car that's clearly not worth that much. (They lied about the diagnosing fees going toward the repairs. Untrue.) We had to bail. So with added processing fees, I paid $400 to have *zero* work done on my car. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Is "diagnosing" a Tennessee auto repair scam everyone's in on? How do people afford this place. Never going back. Enjoy your $400, Simpson's. Hope you feel as good about scamming me out of it as I do. read more

I had a problem with the monitoring system for my tires with one not registering. I called a dealership and a robot answered. I called Simpson's Auto Repair, told them the issue and they said I could come in immediately. The tire problem was fixed in under an hour at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this business. They are efficient and fair. read more

Simpson's Auto Repair is an exceptional place for auto repair. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, helpful and very prompt in getting to the problem and fixing it. They don't try to upcharge with a list of things that don't need to be done (like has been my problem in the past with dealerships! Can I say that?? Well, sure I can because it's true!) read more

First place I ever felt like ROYALTY!!!! Hands down with exceptional service and customer care and quality of service. I would highly recommend this place for your automotive needs. read more

This place is the best! Easy, honest guys with great communication. They consistently have been able to resolve our issues with my Mercedes GLE 350 and without all the dealership price gouging and upselling. read more

In a place like Nashville, finding a trusted expert to keep your vehicles maintained is dicey. Most of the experts are just ridiculously expensive. But Simpsons is a rare and cherished exception. They use scheduling software that is welcoming. They provide services you can rely on. They charge fees which are reasonable. And, the customer facing team is friendly and caring. What more could one ask for? read more

Great service to my car and exceptional customer service! I always trust Simpsons. They also have a cool reception area where you can wait

Highly recommend!! All staff was extremely friendly & helpful. Cole went above & beyond to help get my daughter fixed & safely back home. I would definitely return when in the Nashville area. read more

Excellent service. Took my barely-drivable car in after my normal auto shop told me it'd be about 4-5 days for repairs. Tony at the front desk took extremely good care of me, and after getting all the necessary info, assured me it'd only be a day's work, two at most. Simpsons even arranged a complimentary Uber back to my home. Tony gave me a follow-up call that afternoon and explained the diagnostic in detail, outlining the repair process and subsequent costs, and answering all of my questions. Car is running fine now. I will definitely be a repeat customer! read more

Great communication, quick and affordable. I highly recommend for auto repair service and maintenance.

The Best Auto Repair in the City, In Business since 1950 ! Repaired numerous things on my S-10 Chevy Blazer, amazing diagnostic capability and Fix . Right down Sidco from 100 oaks 10 minutes from Green Hills . Highly Recommended ! read more

This place is amazing and they have a super intelligent staff!! I would recommend them to friends, family and anyone that wants their vehicle repaired. Most shops turned down my bmw diag because it has a few mods and they found the issue and had me on the road the next day!! I will be back for all my future needs!! read more

I have been coming to Simpson's since 2011. They are always professional, timely, accurate and reasonably priced. Kudos!! I highly recommend. read more

Being a young women living out of state and no around family, Jim and his team took good care of me. Felt cared for as a person and customer and great place to have here in Nashville! read more

Terrible service, lack of communication from the team, they want to charge over $600 just for an alignment, when it costs at most $199. I went in for a steering and suspension problem and the car is still the same. If you can't do the job, be honest and don't charge for something you didn't do. I'm the one demanding that you fix things, and you tell me how much I have to pay, but it's the complete opposite with you. You only want to fix what you want and charge for things you didn't even do. I really don't recommend them; they are scammers. read more

Above and beyond service for a great price! I had some difficulty with parts due to the model of my car and they still managed to fix what I needed. read more

THE place to get your vehicle taken care of! I was recommended this place by several friends and they were very correct. Simpson's has been nothing but good to me and my cars. They have handled a wide variety of issues I have brought over the last 5 years. They are also super honest, knowledgeable, and informative. Always upfront about what is/isn't needed at any given time. Fair prices and they are usually very quick at performing their work. Cannot recommend Simpson's enough! read more

DISHONEST...came in for a warranty repair that they fixed a month prior. I was told the repairs were being done and I could pick up my vehicle the following day. Picked up the vehicle and while driving home I noticed the same problem. Spoke with the shop and they said repairs were not done (citing another issue). Claimed "miscommunication" with the mechanic, I had work repair order saying repairs were done. For you folks that have repair problems with shops, contact the state Motor Vehicle Commission. Used this place several times, each time I was called and upsold on other repairs. I really had high hopes, but claiming "miscommunication" in a small repair shop is not a very good excuse for unethical practices and at a minimum shows dysfunction. Took my vehicle to another repair shop and they replaced the part Simpson should have. read more

I've been coming to simpson's for 7-8 years now. They are more than thorough, do quick and quality work.

Great people and very honest. Pricing is always very reasonable and they complete the work on time.

Simpson's did an outstanding job on troubleshooting and repairing my 2007 Lexus after it was jump started with the cables on backwards. They communicated very well, got my approval before doing the repairs, treated me very fairly and got the job done quickly. They are the best auto repair place I have experienced in the past 35 years. I highly recommend them. read more

I was referred by a friend and have had 2 cars serviced at Simpson's within the month. The folks there are very professional, friendly and do great work. read more

For my first time dealing with Simpson's, I couldn't be more satisfied! They are in the 100 Oaks area right off of I-65/Harding/Sidco. Shop looks to be clean and pro. They got to my car before other shops could, (might've been luck of the draw?) easy to deal with on the phone, AND then texted me an update of the estimate, what they found, how they repaired it, and an affordable invoice I could pay online. Something tells me they want my business. They're getting it! I have a "mature" Toyota SUV that I'm sure is going to need more attention in the future. I highly recommend this place! read more

VERY HONEST and genuine repair shop! I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. I took my car in due to a leak in my engine coolant and oil problems, and they diagnosed the issue and the price for the work was extremely fair. (I'm all too used to getting ripped off by auto shops, so I checked with a friend of the family who's a mechanic, and he confirmed the prices were good) During the repair a mistake happened, and an additional part of my car needed to be sent out for machining. Simpson's could have easily called me up and said "Hey we found another problem that you'll have to pay for", and I'd be none the wiser. However, they immediately called me and said "This was our fault, and we'll cover it on our end to make things right". I'm an engineer, and understand that occasional mistakes are inevitable. But the honesty and effort for the shop to make things right is really what impressed me. They even provided me with a car to use while mine was in the shop, since my insurance wouldn't cover anything that wasn't "collision" damage. And they fixed up my radiator for no extra charge! I'm sure that between that and the machining, they spent a lot more on this repair than I paid. They really went above and beyond making things right. I'll definitely being going back to them. It's hard finding an honest mechanic these days, but Simpson's really pulled through! read more

Absolutely love this team. So thankful for their services and honest humble work. Even more, I'm grateful to be able to call the men that work here, friends. Years and years of trust built, and even if a mistake is made, they're faithful to correct. It's so hard to find this type of business these days and I'm so glad I have them on speed dial! thanks Simpsons team. read more

And they get you back up and driving quick. FYI- they will also take you to work or home after you drop off your car! For free!!! Local guys/ local business- I will only come here for my car! Simpsons automotive is my only shop I would ever recommend. The guys here are extremely knowledgeable, transparent and efficient. We have had minor issues with multiple vehicles and Simpsons always goes above and beyond each time. Their pricing and ethics are as close to perfect as you can get. read more

This place is literally thee best mechanic I've been to. They will do their absolute best to get you in and out as quick as possible. I have taken my car here for simple oil changes and for both things they do and don't specialize in. When it's something they don't specialize in they will let me know who they recommend and not charge me a dime for taking the time to look at the vehicle. Many times it's a minor fix that I come in with and they do it on the spot. My dad owns a shop in Arizona and Simpsons treats me and everyone else like I would expect my own dad to treat me. They are truly so service oriented and it's so rare to find a place who does great work, knows what they're doing and are kind, fair and efficient too. Whenever I get work done on my car I call my dad and let him know the prices they are asking just to compare to what part prices and labor costs should be and every single time he's told me their prices are way beyond fair. I promise if you take your car here you will not have a bad experience or be disappointed. read more

My 2015 Nissan Juke was having a vibration issue and these guys all went as fast as they could with repairing the issue. I can't recommend this team enough and am so glad to have had their help! A warning light appeared on the dash on my daughter's car. Based on the positive reviews, we contacted Simpson's. I spoke with Tony, who was very helpful and genuinely appeared concerned about the issue. We made an appointment. My daughter brought the car in. They clearly explained what they would do. They quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem (faulty throttle body assembly). Jim explained everything. They charged a very fair price and provided a warranty on the repairs. I highly recommend Simpson's and we plan on using this shop for maintenance and repair in the future. Thank you! read more

CJ and the team were super friendly and accommodating with my unexpected visit. From making sure the WiFi was working so I could work remotely to sending me off with a complimentary repair, I couldn't have asked for a better auto experience--and I've had Nashville shops make me take my own car out of their garage (yeah, no idea what that was about). Take the time, whether planning ahead or needing someone's eyes on your car quick, to head over to this shop. Thanks again, guys. read more

This is an honest company that also does a great job repairing cars. I have used this business several times and have always been pleased with the work they have done. They go above and beyond. Recently I took in an old truck that they worked on but couldn't fix, and they dropped some of the repair costs when they determined they couldn't fix it. I was really impressed.
