Road hazard has changed for the worse. Now you pay for mounting, balance, and a new road hazard when they have to replace the tire.

I was quoted $550 "out the door" over the phone for a new set of tires for my daughter's car. When I showed up to hand over the keys, I presented my Toyota Team Member badge to obtain the 10% discount that we have always been given at this location. The cashier acknowledged this and proceeded to hand me an invoice to sign that had a total of $550. When I asked him if my Toyota discount was not applicable, he told me that the 10% discount had already been included in the price. I told him that it was not, as I didnt show my badge until I got to the store. He then said that he could "help me out", but told me that $16 off was the best that he could do. I'm no math scholar, but the discount should have been for $55. Being short on time to obtain the tires as a Christmas gift for my girl, I didn't take time to argue. I even found the same tires cheaper at another business, but I stay loyal to places that are customer-focused. I intened to stop back by the location to discuss with the manager at some point. If/when I do, I will update this review. I have been a customer here since this location opened in Georgetown and have never had a problem with the service here before. The $39 difference is not as important to me as is the disappointment of poor customer service. For anyone reading this who is not familiar with Georgetown, Ky, the town is based around the nearby Toyota manufacturing plant. Several businesses in the area award team members with discounts. In 18 years, this is the first time that I have not had this honored. Two stars because they scheduled me as a walk-in during a very busy day and completed the installation quickly. read more

I took my car in to have my oil changed. I furnished my own oil and filter. During the process of changing my oil, the technician comes in and tells me that the antifreeze level in my reservoir is low and he wanted to make me aware even though no leaks were detected. I thanked him and made the comment that it is a good thing they top off all the fluid levels. He informed me that they do not top off the fluid levels. After returning home and topping off my antifreeze along with the rest of the fluid levels. The more I got to thinking about the shop supply fees that I was charged for! I supplied my own oil and filter. I was informed they don't and didn't top off any of my fluids, including the windshield wash. Brings me to the question of what shop supplies were used , that I am being charged for?? read more

We had a blow out situation while traveling from Indiana in a rental car, in the rain. Although they were closing soon, and just about done taking customers, they waited for us to arrive so that they could replace the tire. They even helped us by recommending a tow company after the rental roadside assistance told us they wouldn't be there for another 90 minutes (after they should've already been there). The staff was so accommodating and super nice. They even took details over the phone so that everything would be all set when the car finally got there. Took my vehicle here for 4 new tires, the first time the tires were unbalanced and the vehicle was misaligned. Took it back to give them a chance to fix it. Made an appointment and still had to wait an hour. After the second trip the vehicle is still misaligned and it's apparent I'll have to take it somewhere capable of doing a proper alignment. I've always had better service with Walmart and i guess I shouldn't have strayed off the beaten path. read more

I've bought all 4 tires at tire discounters in northern Kentucky I've never had any issues with my car until I started taking it to tire discounters in Georgetown KY. They are very unprofessional. They couldn't even figure out how to turn my maintenance required light off on my car. Not to mention.... after I left there I noticed a rumbling noise under my car. It was the splash guard. It was ripped off on one side.. again this was AFTER I got my oil changed. I will never take my car back there. read more

My 19 Yr old daughter, Taylor, moved to Georgetown Kentucky in January from Austin Tx. While driving home she picked up a nail and by morning the tire was on the ground. I googled tire places and just randomly picked one, Tire Discounters Georgetown, KY. The man that answered was a manager named Cody. I was a bit neurotic and worried as we know very few people in KY. Cody got the address and offered to go get the car and fix it, assures me that he would take care of it and eased my mind from the worry and stress of the situation. Cody picked up the car, replaced the tire and even balanced and aligned the tires. Cody also offered to deliver the car back to my daughters apartment for her but she had already made arrangements with a roommate to pick it up. Impressive no, amazing sounds more appropriate for this situation. My daughters car had a new tire, balanced and ready in 4 hours for 90 bucks, I would have paid whatever but had expressed to Cody I only had 117 in my account with several days until payday...he exceeded any and all expectations and I am forever grateful that Tire Discounters is in business, Thank you so much, Jennifer read more

Noticed a bubble on tire sidewall while traveling out of state. Called Tire Discounters and they were able to fix it the next morning so we could get back on the road without too much of a delay. all of the guys were super sweet and so helpful. it didnt take them very long to change out tires and they have wifi in the waiting room. i was out of town when i got my flat tire, i was already on a tight budget so it was super helpful when they gave me a toyota employee discount. i would definitely go back, but hopefully i dont have to! haha read more

Made an appointment on Saturday for Monday at noon so I could wait on my vehicle. I was told it would take 20 minutes to get my tires balanced. At 12:51 I go to the desk to check on my vehicle and they have not even started working on it. It is unacceptable to have customers wait this long when they make appointments to have their vehicles worked on. They really need to work on there customer service. I highly suggest using other tire places to get your work done. read more
