Big O liars (BOL)! Let me tell you about lies and deception from BOL. You buy tires from BOL that are all climate and new! Come to find out the tires have been on the self for a while. Now to maintain the warranty of the tire you have to bring in and rotate every 5k. So at 5k i make an appointment for 2pm, at 1:45pm i show up BOL says only 1 in front of me, cool i thought. Now at 2:40pm I ask BOL when will my car go in. His response we are pulling it in right now. Hmmm, im looking at it not moving. BOL RIGHT TO YOUR FACE! I ask how do you normally schedule appointments and why over scheduling, BOL, we aren't allowed to say no to anyone! Apparently you're not allowed to say no OR tell the truth. read more

Very rarely will a business get a 1 star review from me. I have been in public service for over 30 years and fully understand that bad days, misunderstandings just happen. What we experienced at this BIG O Tire is well beyond any reasonable explanation. We dropped our car off June 1st for a new set of tires. The store was running a special and my wife dropped the car off early morning. About 20 min after dropping the car off she received a call from the manager asking about the Lug Nut Lock Key. (In my wife's defense she had no clue the vehicle even had something like this installed. I take full responsibility for this and should have thought about it.) In a panic she called me and conferenced me in with the manager. He immediately sounded pissed and was very short with us. I apologized for the trouble and explained to him where the key was located. I keep it in with the vehicle jack in the pouch from the vehicle manufacturer. Just a few minutes later I received another conference call from my wife with the manager on the line again stating that the key is not in the vehicle. I was attempting to explain that I was absolutely sure the key was in that location when he cut me off stating "You are not hearing me, the key is not in your vehicle". I then asked my wife if she wanted me to go or if she understood where I was saying the key was located. Before she could even answer he again cut us off saying that he didn't have time for our private conversation and he hug up. 45 minutes later and a half vacation day taken from my work I arrive at the location and go with the manager and an associate to locate the key which was exactly where I had told them it was. Even after all of this, I truly was not that upset. I felt we shared some responsibility for not giving them the key when we handed over the vehicle but I really did not appreciate the way that we had been talked to or treated by the manager. I expressed my concern to him only to be dismissed again with a smart ass comment. On the drive home I called into Corporate Big O and spoke with customer service about the experience we had just received. A case was opened and we were assured that someone would call us and discuss the incident. Fast forward to today (30 days later) and I have still not heard one word from them. I called in again today to speak with someone about the incident and learned that the case had been closed the day after I filed the complaint by the very associate who we had complained on. Zero oversight, zero accountability. When asked about attempting to speak with someone else I was told that the store is a franchise and there was little they could do to assist. There are plenty of places that want to earn your business, this is absolutely not one of those places. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

My tire got a flat at 7am on my way to work. I was in a rush and needed my tire repaired so I could get to my job in time. Big O Tires answered their phone immediately and said I could swing by. In about 30min they repaired my tire and placed the wheel back on the car. They did all of this for free. Excellent customer service. Thank you!! read more

On our way north to Ohio, a little past Lexington, KY the tire pressure warning light came on all of a sudden, flashing. I took the first exit, pulled into the nearest gas station to put air into the tires, and noticed the tire pressure in three of tires were low, one was loosing air quickly. We drove to the nearest tire shop a mile away and it was closed, running out of time, with the air of the tire continuing to dwindle down, I was already thinking I was going to need to break out the spare in the hot sun. However, I manage to make one last push at 20mph to Big O which was another 2 miles away, who said they could fit us into the next slot. Originally, I was just going to fix the flat, but also asked if they could replace the tires. Unfortunately their warehouse closed at noon on a Saturday so they couldn't replace the Michelin tires we had. However, a competitor had the tires I needed only two doors down, so I purchased them there and they just charged for the installation and disposal fee for the tires. Everything worked out smooth. They also gave us a free soccer ball for a google review which I was only too happy to write. Our little one and I played a little indoor soccer in the store. Happy to report no windows were broken. This ended up being a 1.5 hr diversion but could have been much worse. read more

I made an appointment for my oil to be changed. I got there and let him know that I had a coupon for a synthetic blend oil change. he went out and said that when he put my plate number in, no info about the car came up. I have never heard of this, you usually scan the label on the inside of the door or use the vin. He told me I couldn't use the coupon because my vehicle would only take full synthetic which I knew was wrong. He then went on to tell me that the air filter would be a certain about and it was doubled because of my type of car. First off I never asked for an air filter, they should have asked me if I wanted them to replace it. Once he told me me the amount I told him I couldn't afford it and he said "what are you just not going to get your oil changed?" I told him that I couldn't afford get it cheaper at Valvoline. He said" I guarantee that it's not cheaper, we can call them right now and I'll show you". I have never had someone be so pushy and rude to try to get your service. I guess maybe because I was a woman, he thought he could talk me into whatever he wanted to and I would just blindly agree with him. Well I'm not stupid and knew he was bs ing me and thought I would go along with it. Well I went to Valvoline and got it done for more than half the price. would not recommend them whatsoever and will not be going back. read more

I purchased tires from here almost one year ago and I was extremely pleased with their service. However, I never thought to leave a review until something bad happened. Isn't that the way it seems to always go? Up until this afternoon I was bound and determined to leave Big O at 2 star review because one of the tires I had purchased from there received a bulge in the outer part of the tire. My husband stopped in first thing on Monday morning to get the tire replaced. The representative stated that this was covered under the manufacturer's warranty! Yay for saving $100+/- on a new tire. The only bad thing was, we'd have to come back after 3 pm because they had to get a tire delivered from Lexington. Fast forward to 4 pm, the tire wasn't there. Turns out the tire wasn't ordered for whatever reason. The technician told my husband that driving on a bulging tire wasn't a big deal. Obviously, he must be a bigger risk taker than me, haha. He then said the tire would be there first thing Tuesday morning and then clarified that meant between 11 am and 1 pm. Before going today, I called before driving there at 1:20ish pm. I live 25 minutes in each direction and we had already made two visits to the location already. He said the tire wasn't there yet and I tried really hard to keep my composure. He assured me that the tire would be there. Around 3:30 pm he called! LONG STORY SHORT: The tire was replaced for free, all tires rotated, and they serve free k-cup coffee while you wait. Their WiFi is free and very fast and their prices are reasonable. They were extremely nice even though I was frustrated. I know most of this story was due to things they couldn't excuse. I'm glad I held off on reviewing them when I was upset because I am back to being a 100% satisfied customer. read more

Damaged my 2018 Odyssey by pulling a bay door down onto the tailgate. Was close to $1000 in damage. They didn't say anything when it happened and I didn't notice until two days later when my back windshield wiper blade wasn't working right. Damages were dented and scratched tailgate, chrome trim, and broken windshield wiper assembly. After looking at the camera footage at Big O it was pretty obvious that they pulled the bay door down on it. They refused to give me their insurance information and stated that the repair could only be made at a certain garage they do business with. As I didn't trust them I certainly wasn't going to let them choose where the repairs were made so I had to file a claim on my own insurance and recoup my money through subrogation since they refused to give me their insurance information. read more

It is VERY unprofessional for a customer to schedule an appointment and show up for said appointment and then be told that you can't look at the car. I understand that things happen and people get sick- HOWEVER you had my number- I left it with Donny* and not one person bothered to call me to let me know. It is such as shame that businesses have " I could care less attitude" I don't think that I will be returning for any kind of issues with my car ( not that it matters to you) ALSO, you should check your parking lot, I found 2 pieces of metal, almost like wiring and tires could most definitely get punctured by both. read more

I was in a pinch and these guys really helped me out. After they fixed the issue , a secondary problem caused the issue to occur again. They were very flexible with the second fix and worked the additional work into their schedule. Dropped off our truck in the morning for a tire rotation and balance. Tried to pickup at 11:30 and at 2pm but it was not ready. We phoned at 5:30 and the individual said they were open until 7pm. When we arrived at 6:45 they were locked up tight. So if you want a place that needs 24 hours to rotate your tires and employees that do not know the hours of operation this might be the store for you. read more
