They ordered a…read moretire for me yesterday, and tried their best to get it put on but my rim was bent and they couldn't get it to hold air while it was on. Chris got me the information for a place to fix my rim which I'm having done Friday morning, then going back to them afterwards to have the tire put on and balanced. I had a slight break down in the store this morning, and Chris was really great helping me and helping to calm me down (I have severe ptsd and anxiety/panic disorder). I just really cant express how thankful I am to all of them at the Georgetown location. They were all friendly and professional, and made me feel really comfortable while I was there. I will definitely recommend them to everyone who needs any work done on their vehicles.

I came a few months ago with my Chevy Cruze about the tires. Valvoline wouldn't rotate the tires; because they didn't want to strip my lug nut. Ken Towery's took really good care of me and said it was not a problem to fix. Today I came in and stated that I think there was something wrong with one of my tires; because my tire light came on but I had no idea what it was. They then proceeded to show the wire that was in my tire and asked if I had a warranty with them with Sam's Club. I stated that I did; and they said that perhaps they can fix it for me under the warranty. Every single time, I felt like I was treated like family. Chris was so kind and he's always got a smile on his face. I will continue to come back to Ken Towery's in Georgetown, KY for all of my needs.

I had just replaced both in December 2023. To be safe, I took the car back to the mechanic who did the original work and had him inspect it. Sure enough, after pulling the wheels, he confirmed that only about half the life of the brakes had been used--there was absolutely no need for replacement. Firestone's recommendation was not only unnecessary but downright dishonest. It's disgusting for a company to try and take advantage of a customer like this, especially when it comes to safety-related repairs. I trusted them to give me an honest assessment, and instead they tried to upsell me something I didn't need. I won't be returning--and I urge others to get a second opinion before agreeing to any work here.

PLEASE READ Let me preface this by saying I've never written…read morea bad review like this in my life, but Michael, Doug, and their store manager and regional manager Mike McCalla have earned it. On Mother's Day, my pregnant wife was stranded on the interstate with no brakes and this store was only 1 mile away. Had I known what a disaster this company would be, I would have had my car shipped somewhere else to have the brakes fixed. They first told us our master brake cylinder went out, and it would be $1,200 after parts and labor. Ouch, but that's life. A few days later they call us to say "Actually the brake booster needs replaced, that'll be another $1,000". I start to question if they have any clue what's actually wrong with the car until they call me a THIRD time to say "Those new parts fried your vacuum pump, that'll be another $1,000 to replace that"... At this point I'm certain they're just shooting at the wind, clueless as to what really needed fixed to begin with, and I'm stuck paying $3,300 ($200 less than what they wanted to charge, and I tirelessly negotiated for) They had my car FOR 12 DAYS before my father in law comes to pick it up for me. For me to find that: 1. The air intake on my turbo charged vehicle was not resecured, which is incredibly dangerous! 2. The black plastic cowling cover under the windshield had been busted up on the corners and was not properly reattached. This turned my car from gorgeous to loooking like absolute trash. 3. The left windshield wiper arm goes flying off the vehicle in the pouring rain on the interstate, I'm surprised nobody is dead after that. 4. The left windshield wiper motor is not rotating anymore. 5. The brake lights are now constantly on as if we're riding the brakes. After jeopordizing my pregnant wife's safety and trashing our car Mike McCalla, the regional manager, asked us if we'd like $30 off our next oil change... To get any service beyond this I have had to take time out of my day, every day for 3 days now, to cattle-prod Mike McCalla to make things right. Time will tell how Jiffy Lube will rectify their shameful service...
