Great place for your tire needs. I've been in two times in the past six months with flat tires, and they get you in fast and solve the problem ~ on Saturday. That is so refreshing for a working man. They have both late and weekend hours. I just bought new tires from them. I was pleased with how that went because, while they didn't beat a competitor's price, they came awfully close and with the awesome customer service they have I figured it was worth the difference. In the end, they got what they needed to make a profit, I got what I wanted at a price point that was fair, and that's just good business. I'll definitely be buying from them again. read more

I went to the Kroger Station at Tates Creek and ManoWar to air my tires. One tire deflated, and I found a piece of the tire valve on the ground. Without it, the tire would not inflate. I called AAA who arrived in only 20 minutes and put on my spare. My regular S&S at Brannon Crossing is closed on Saturday, so I called the Beaumont location. Turns out they're sister locations with the same owner. Since I'm in the system, he had the paperwork ready when I arrived. Although they were super busy, my car was ready in only an hour. This is going to be a long story. Yesterday Mike went out to go to work and had a flat tire. I started looking around for a place to get the tire repaired via my Firestone card and which stores take the card. I then went to the website to make sure everything was ok and good to go as I had never used the card. S&S tire in Beaumont reached out and arranged a tow. They got his car and told me which tires we needed. I ok'd them and within 2 hours the car was ready. I arrived and swiped my card and it was DECLINED, DECLINED and DECLINED. The salesman Danny called the card company and all numbers they directed him to. He was told that I should've received a new card months ago, but I never received it. I was beside myself and was told I would need to request a new card. It would arrive within 14 days. Danny ensured me to not worry that we will work it out and they did. I was falling apart and they told me that all they wanted was for me to come back when I got the new card. I Iost it. I offered my bank info so they could take the money when my check posted and they handed me my keys and said that's ok we will see you in 14 days. GOD is good. These guys treated me with kindness, respect, dignity and TRUST . Best customer service experience everr. KUDOS to Danny and his co-workers. There are still good people in the world. Today, while on vacation and exiting the highway my tire pressure light came on, notifying me of a tire pressure issue. I pulled into the S&S Tire store on Fieldstone Way, Lexington KY and was quickly assisted by a kind, knowledgeable and efficient technician who diagnosed and resolved the problem. The 250 miles driven at 70+ mph at 83 degrees had resulted in high tire pressure. When the technician released pressure to the correct level he then directed me in re-setting my tire pressure system. All of this expert service took no more than 10 minutes, and was done without charge. I highly recommend this business and would not hesitate to return in the future if needed. read more

My husband and I had a really aggravating experience at this location. We have taken our vehicles here in the past without any problems, but we won't go back. My husband dropped our brand new truck off at this location just after lunch for a standard oil change. He requested it be ready by 4 pm which they said was no problem. Later that afternoon, they left a message that my husband needed to call them. When he returned the call, he was placed on hold. After about five minutes, we simply drove to the shop because we were approaching 4 pm and we had other deadlines to meet. When he walked in the shop, he was still on hold and five employees were standing around chatting with one another. He had probably been on hold with them for 10-15 minutes at that point. They told him that the air filter needed to be replaced as well as a lug nut that had been stripped by them in the process of rotating tires. And, of course, they told him that if only he had returned their phone call, it already would have been done. After assuring him that it could be done quickly because they had everything they needed, my husband consented to the changing of the air filter and the stripped lug nut. About 30 minutes later, my husband asked how much longer, on the verge of breaching one of our obligations and well past 4 pm. He was told that they were still waiting for the part to arrive. We ended up having to leave the truck and to pick it up the next day. This company wasted at least an hour of our lives because it would not be honest with us and interfered with other obligations we had to meet. It would not have been a problem to leave the truck; they could have been honest from the beginning. But by lying to us about their ability to perform the service, they stole an hour of our lives and negatively impacted our other obligations. Our time is not limitless and consequently it is valuable to us. The dishonesty and apathy towards the customer makes this a place I will not return. They are not cheaper and the service they provide is not unique, so I would prefer to go someplace where I can at least be treated with respect and common courtesy. read more

Went in for a tire alignment. Waiting room was okay, if a little dated. Good selection of magazines and the flatscreen tv was a nice touch. Service was fairly quick... They actually told me the service wasn't necessary, but I was borderline. I opted to go ahead and take care of things.. Was getting tired of having a shaky ride. Service was satisfactorily quick. I actually brought a coupon for service only to find our they had already applied it to my purchase without me asking. Not too shabby. I would come here again for future service if needed. read more

have been an S&S Customer for about 15 years. Began using them in college and stuck with them, almost exclusively, until the past year or so. I have used about every location inside of Lexington with the old Winchester Rd. location being my "Home Base" so to speak. I have used the Beaumont location a lot and my frustration with them has only increased with each visit. I had been having issues with my brakes and took my care to Beaumont because I knew they would be able to diagnose and fix. When I pressed my brake pedal down, a loud hissing noise could be heard and I would have to nearly press my brake pedal to the floor board to get the card to completely stop. I youtube diagnosed it as being my break booster. I arrived at the Beaumont location last week and told the customer rep my issue. I think his name was Jake. I told him it sounds like a brake booster due to the loud hissing noise. I left my car and went out to run errands with my wife. He told me they would call with the diagnosis. After a few hours he called to inform me that his techs did not hear a hissing noise and noticed no issues with the brakes. He told me they looked perfect. I asked him to ask his techs to turn the radio down and listen to the hissing noise from the brakes as they pressed the pedal inside the car as it was really loud and had been for several weeks. He called me 10 minutes later and told me it was a brake booster afterall, that they could fix it, and that my card would be done as soon as my oil change was completed. I told him I had just had my oil changed the previous week and did not need it changed. The sticker was still in my window. He told me he wrote down an oil change as part of my order. I told him I didn't need an oil change and to not do one. I asked him to quote me the repair for the brake booster. He informed me S&S could only purchase this part from a toyota dealer and that the part was 1000.00 dollars and about 2.5 hours labor (and additional 200 - 300). I told him that sounded really high as I had researched brake boosters for my car and they were much less expensive at other places. I asked him not to do the repair and I went to pick my car up. When I picked the keys up, he was not rude, but not nice. I could tell he was irritated because they had done the oil change. I told him I was sorry if there was a miscommunication but I did not indicate needing an oil change. I asked him again about the price of the brake booster repair and he again said they could do it no less than 1000.00 plus labor. So I went on my way. In the past, I had also ran into situations of miscommunication about repairs. I was quoted shocks and struts by a CS rep and he was 500 dollars off because he had forgot to explain that all of my shocks and struts needed to be replaced. I asked to speak to him when I picked the car up and he wouldn't come to the front desk from the shop to speak to me. With my brake booster, I took my vehicle to Palmer Tire (a former SS franchisee) as I was familiar with the location from their S&S days. They charged the same rate (or similar) for labor. (200.00 approx.) and purchased the part from a local autoparts store for 90.00 after the core was returned. I have been a loyal customer to S&S for 15 years but am ready to cut them loose. The S&S franchise stores have a different feel and lack the customer service focus that the company stores had before they closed recently. read more

I've used S&S Tires on Fieldstone Way a lot in the last couple of years for tire purchases, routine maintenance like oil and fluid changes, and one 105,000 mile type service. I've found the service personnel to be very professional and knowledgeable, and the prices competitive. I'm pretty knowledgeable about my individual vehicle maintenance requirements and S&S hasn't recommended any unneeded services or repairs. It can be a busy location (especially on Fri and Sat), so I try to drop off my vehicle mid week. I also like that they are a locally owned company. read more

Very disappointed in how they handled cost of parts. I know the part they put on my truck cost $275 at auto zone bc I just checked, exact part they put on my truck but charged me $475 for it! I guess the $250 for labor wasn't enough. Service was average, nothing great. Very expensive! Better off finding another place, one that won't rip you off. read more

DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND just came in to get a new tire put on. Then I get told I have to now buy four lug nuts (for $50) and pay an extra 20$ to take one off because they broke my locking lugnut key. Pretty sure this isn't how business works. You break it you but it. Not we break it and make the customer pay for it. Bet if I sat here and broke something in this waiting room I'd be picking up the bill and not charging them. Make sure you know exactly what they are going to do in advance and exactly what it will cost. If I could leave no Stars for S&S Fieldstone Way I would! My husband called them at 7am this morning to check the price and availability for a tire for my SUV. The man he spoke with told him they could order my tire and have it in by 10am and that it would be a little over $100.00. They called when the tire was in and my Husband took the car over to have the tire changed after waiting around for a couple hours after the tire arrived for them to be ready to put on the tire. Once they were finished the same man that had quoted him a price this morning told him we owed $241.00 for the tire and service! He told us that the extra cost came from having it shipped! How can the price more than double for shipping costs and why was this never mentioned in the first phone call, because we would have called other places to compare prices. We have since called other S&S locations all with a lower price for the same tire. What a rip off! DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THE S&S IN BRANNON CROSSING! Took my car in to have the brakes evaluated and repaired. Was told that all 4 brakes needed to be replaced including all the rotors.They quoted me a very high price for that to be done. I am a woman who took my car in alone without my husband. Have no idea if that makes a difference or not! What ticked me off the most was that without asking me first, they just went ahead and did what they called a "safely" inspection. Then they added things to the already jacked up brake repair list that they said that I needed to have done. They mentioned a " cabin filter". I asked them what that was and where that was located. They told me that it was in my glove box! So, I find out that they had removed my glove box. Not only did they scratch the crap out of my dashboard taking out and putting the glove box back in, but also got grease all over my light colored upholstery doing so! All because of something that I did not ask for! When the manager was questioned about why they did the safety inspection in the first place when it was not requested, I was told that it was routine for them to do so and without asking the customer or informing them. And yet, when I had taken another car to them once before - the safely inspection was not done. I am guessing that it was done in the hopes of getting me to spend more money with them. Needless to say, I did not have them repair my breaks. I left and promptly called a mechanic in Lex that I had used before and he quoted me a price of almost 1/2 of what S&S Tire had quoted. Stupid me - I should have just done that in the first place! When I was sitting in the waiting room, I overheard the conversation between the manager and another customer. She had gone in 3 wks prior for tires and was told that the brakes needed to be replaced as well. She ended up spending much more that day than just purchasing tires! Again - another woman who went in alone. She has been back twice since then because the car was having repair related issues - at least one of them the manager admitted to being their fault. She told me that her car was having problems now that she never had prior to the day that she went in just for tires. The manager acted like he was doing her a great big favor by not charging her anything that day to diagnose the issues that she was now experiencing.I was floored. I miss the days of honesty and quality service where the customer comes first. Needless to say, i will never, ever step foot in another S&S Tire for the rest of my life. Lesson learned! Yes, their building was clean and yes, the staff was friendly - I give them that. But those two things alone are not worth being gouged and totally taken advantage of! I am keeping my fingers crossed that my car will not all of a sudden start having issues that were not there prior to my trip to S&S. If it does, they will be hearing from me! read more
