I discovered a large screw in my tire on my way to a baseball tournament. We pulled into the Beaumont location shortly before they were closing, and they fit us in to replace my tire because it did not look like it would be possible to repair it. Lo and behold, the honest mechanic was able to in fact repair my tire, saving me hundreds of dollars. Great customer service and honest. Will return for my tire replacement soon. read more

I have been to this location several times in the past five years and have always left satisfied with the service and the work that was done. Numerous times they have gone above and beyond; one time it was pouring rain and my tire light came on and I made my way to the Beaumont locations specifically because I knew they were helpful previously and The gentleman came out to my car in the rain and helped me switch out tires and just basically was incredibly helpful and very kind. This place used to be a five star establishment. I've purchased all my tires here since it opened. I was always happy with the price quotes and service. That was when a guy named Mario was managing the store. He's not there anymore, and the quality and service has taken a serious downturn. I was buying a set of four tires for my van. James quoted me a price, which was high compared to competitors, but I'd done so much business with these guys I decided to go with it. The tires were ordered for the next day and I dropped my van off that morning. I never heard back from them. Ok, businesses get busy. I get it. I called that afternoon and they said they'd get to it within an hour. So, I got dropped off and figured I'd wait. I waited. And waited. A couple people sitting near me said they'd been waiting since morning. I noticed my van sitting in the parking lot, and since nobody called my name I assumed maybe they had to test drive it or perform some additional work on it. It's now fifteen minutes after closing time. I go up to the counter and see my paperwork and keys sitting there. But no employees. I waited by the counter for literally thirty minutes with no one there to help. Finally, someone comes in and checks me out an hour after closing time. The price was higher than I was quoted. I'm in a hurry so I mention the prior quote and the guy at the counter gives me a 5% discount. Still higher than quoted but I had to go. So I let it go. But they weren't done with with the insult. When I got home I noticed they didn't replaced my valve caps. So, I pay close to a thousand dollars for tires which should have been much less and they don't even care enough to put valve caps on. So, I'm spending Easter morning out looking for TPMS valve caps. Thanks, fellas. I doubt I'll go back. And it's such a sad situation. They used to be a great business. And they are so close to the house. But they've got to get it together. The market is way too competitive to put up with nonsense like this. Every customer in the place was angry. If everyone is angry they can't all wrong. And my frustration didn't end that day. It gets extended into the next day based on an unacceptable oversight. I was here very recently to accompany my stepmother and was DEEPLY disturbed by the working environment that l observed. I am unsure how these employees have not went on a strike or something because I was floored by the horrible treatment. I work in HR and I think the corporate office should really do some investigation or contact the BBB. In the main front area, I witnessed the general manager (bald with red beard) yell and cuss at another sales employee (green hat | think) that looked extremely overwhelmed. I also witnessed staff come from the garage area to go INSIDE to start vaping in the front sitting area. While I was there, I also went to the restroom and overheard someone screaming and cussing at the mechanic staff. As a woman, it is already hard enough to feel comfortable going into a mechanic shop and not feel taken advantage of by a male-dominated environment. We didn't feel taken advantage of, but my stepmother and I were really so uncomfortable by the toxic staff environment. This is just stuff that we witnessed, I can only imagine some of the things these employees are going through. read more

I chose Tire Discounters because they were very conveinent to where I was living at the time. I bought 4 Pirelli Scorpio AS + 3 tires. They were neither the most expensive or least expensive of the options I was shown. So far, I have had to replace 3 of the 4 tires and not one was from normal wear or low tread. All 3 developed a hole in the sidewall and could not be repaired. For 2 out of the 3 tires the problem was misdiagnosed and I had to return to TD and then told that I needed to buy a new tire. In one of those 2 tire "repairs" I didnt make it out of the parking lot before the low tire pressure light came. At one point I was told they no longer carried that Pirelli tire because they had had trouble and Pirelli wasnt standing behind them. I'm not sure where in this process TD came to this conclusion, but regardless, TD sold the tires to me. Not Pirelli. So when the third tire recently started losing air...was "repaired" and I was back to TD in less than a week w the tire losing air and told I needed a third new tire...I finally reached my limit. I went elsewhere. My other issue stems from a tire rotation that I had done before I headed out on a road trip. When I got to my destination about 9 hours away I started hearing a thud when i slowed down. I called TD but because they had no locations in that area there was nothing they could do until I got back. I took the car to the local Lexus dealership and found out I was missing a lug nut and the other lug nuts were loose on the right front tire. Yeah...thank god I didn't drive back to find out the problem. A TD technician clearly never tightened those lug nuts. They are a tire store! TD did reimburse me for the bill from Lexus which I appreciated....but this should never ever have happened. So that has been my experience.... read more

I called and talked to Christina, and explained I had a strange request. I was looking for replacement batteries for my powerchair (motorized wheelchair). I had tried other places in town that service the chairs but no one had any of this type of battery stock, and it would be 1-2 weeks to get one. Christina checked their inventory and said they didn't stock that particular battery but would call other stores to see if they had them. She also offered to ask their interstate supplier if they carried them, and price them for me. She called back the next day with great news! The supplier did carry the batteries and Christina said that they would have one delivered to personally verify it was the right model. I have been in customer service for 25+ yrs, I was very impressed with Christina's extra effort and follow up with me. We need more People like Her in this world. I always like to support my neighborhood business. I stopped here to check tire prices and stock as I am looking for a set of 4 tires for my trailer. There is one customer at the counter, another one waiting and me. The counter man was only one in the front and he was trying to answer the phone and wait on the customer too. As soon as he hung up the phone rang again. After 10 minutes he was still trying to waiting on the first customer and taking phone calls so I left. This was the second time I have been in here and not been waited on. I called in a little later that day for a price, they took my number and I am still waiting for a call back. TD you really need more help on the counter and I would suggest that you put someone in the office just to answer the phones and give quotes. I am sorry to say after calling many local dealers, I ordered tires on line and saved $150 with free shipping. No one locally could match that price for the same tire. read more

Zero sense of urgency or valuing the cleanliness of customer's cars apparently. I called and spoke to Matt about the availability of tires for my car. He suggested I come down in an hour which I did. Matt said it would take ~1.5 to 2 hours. I walked to a nearby restaurant and when I walked back 30 minutes later I saw the car on the rack. I found Matt and let him know I was in the waiting room. 2 hours after that still nothing, not a word. I notice Matt and another guy just chatting so I went to ask if there was ANY estimate of how long it would be. My car was sitting there in the front. For how long I have no idea but I don know that every other place I have gone for tires has kept me informed and even told me when the car was coming up. When I get in the car I find that the center armrest was filthy even though it was clean when I entrusted my car to them. I suggest you shop around for tires instead of just trusting at least the Beaumont, Lex. location. I don't doubt that someone from the store will respond. I won't respond to their response. There is ZERO good reason not to keep customers informed when they are sitting right in your waiting room. There is ZERO good reason to leave oily / greasy filth on a customer's arm rest. read more

Really disapointed with this place. Again. I've been coming here a while but the service has really gone downhill. I had an appointment for an oil change and to fix a headlight. I went on a walk and they were going to call when it was ready, etc., and I came back an hour later and they had not even started on the car. I understand being busy, but a heads up would have been nice. I had a client meeting and had to just get my car and leave without being serviced. I've been coming here for years but will take my car elsewhere from now on. The convenience of the location no longer outweighs the poor level of service. read more

I don't normally waste energy leaving a bad review. Sometimes I have to, for the best interests of unsuspecting customers. I called to get a simple balance and alignment done on my tires. They said they were too busy, to bring it in tomorrow. So I brought it to them the next morning and left it. They call me 3 hours later to tell me, it needs new tires. You can RECCOMEND tires or give me an OPINION. I don't come to tire shops for them to tell me what I NEED to do with my 1,000$. I obviously told them no thanks. They then decided to neither balance or align my vehicle. Told me to come get it or leave it with them for 3 days. I have watched tires get balanced and aligned. I have worked in service departments. The fact that they couldn't do a simple job in 5 hours. Then had the nerve to tell me I need this and need that. Then blow my car off because I declined giving them my hard earned money. I would reccomend another store to anyone who wants honest and timely work. Were talking about the automative repair industry though. Pray for me. read more

He even tried calling the dealership to see if they had what was needed, it wasn't. Got the part ordered, quoted a price and the car was fixed as soon as the piece came in. At pickup the price quoted was spot on for what was paid. I would definitely recommend taking your car to this location for service. It's also easy access to the airport, multiple hotels, gas station, food spots, even a little amphitheater if you're from out of the area and have to stay overnight you can catch a little concert! read more

TJ was awesome! I had to replace all four of my tires, it was time. I brought my car in on a Thursday, settled on a set of tires and left them to it. An hour and a half later (just as promises) TJ called to let me know that I also needed a wheel replaced (that had to be special ordered to fit my car), this wasn't a shock to me, my regular mechanic warned me that it was going to be an issue soon. They made me a great deal (cost was much less than I anticipated) my wheel was in on Saturday morning. The staff here is always friendly and if you have made an appointment in advance they do all they can to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Also, I don't think I've ever been told I "had" to have something fixed like at other places. They'll let you know if they see anything, but they don't try to sell you up on anything in my experience. I recommend them, specifically the Beaumont Centre location, to everyone I know. read more

Went to buy a windshield wiper as I got out of my car to take it off in the rain a employee met me with a umbrella to walk me in and fill out paperwork for my address , phone number, name and license plate # just to buy one single windshield wiper . After filling out the paperwork the employee asked me if they could pull it into the garage to exchange the wiper out which I responded NO I could put it on myself shocked after I said that the employee ask for my keys and gets in my car and pulls it in why I'm literally standing in the rain in the parking lot. As I walk over to the garage bay where my car is me and the mechanic look at each other in shock on why my car needs to be pulled in for one windshield wiper blade , but hey at least he checked my tire pressure for me haha! read more

I have been with tire discounters since they opened there first store in Lexington on New Circle road. Most recently I have been going to the store at Beaumont center. I always got very good service through there manager Tim. Few months ago he reportedly went to an other store and was replaced. Since than there service has deteriorated significantly. During my most recent visit which was for oil change , I had the worst experience of my life. I called for an appointment the manager told me that I can drop my car in the morning and they can take care of it. I droped the car around 9 AM and went to work. They asked me when I will need it and I said by 12 - 1. I was done by 3 PM and never got a call from them about the car. I asked a co worker to drop me. When I got to shop , there was nothing done and the manager tried to bully me. I felt threatened and left the store. I could have done the oil change at Valvoline and be done in 20 minutes which i did after leaving TD. I will never go back there after so many years with them. read more

Tim was very knowledgeable about what tires would be the best fit for my mini van. I was looking at a more expensive tire but he recommended a cheaper alternative that suites a mini van better. He explained that the tire he recommended had a stronger sidewall which is better for a mini van because of the higher center of gravity which lends to more forces on the side wall of a tire during turning. read more
