Chile Relleno platter, taco salad
BandZ M.

First timers. Our family loves this place and we thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had the Chile Rellenos. He said it was good but different because he normally has the sauce on it and didn't know he had to ask for it. He still really enjoyed them. I had the flautas, very flavorful and the beans were super good. Better than any I've had in California. My cousins had their normal, enchiladas with mole' and a salad. Next time we are here, we will definitely eat here again.

Cheese Enchilada Plate, Nopalito Taco, Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada Plate

This location is a little divier with a little less personality that its Love Field counterpart, but that didn't take away from the quality of the food. The rice and beans alone are worth the visit, as they are delicious and authentic. The rice is super light and fluffy, reminiscent of my grandmother's. That woman could cook! I had the cheese enchiladas, which were packed with flavor and well-topped with enchilada sauce. My woman had the sour cream chicken enchiladas- and she loved every bite. We also had chiles toreados with our meal, which were no joke. Super spicy but also blistered and cooked to perfection. Don't let the exterior discourage you from entering this place! The food here is amazing.

This place is disgustingly dirty. Look under the glass on this "clean" table!! So so gross. All the tables look this way.

As always the food is fantastic. Their refried beans are probably the best in the DFW. You will find real chunks of bacon inside. The fresh salsa was hotter this time and it was so so good. So glad they got rid of those old dirty tables!

Camarones a la Mexicana

Something has changed here recently. This was our go-to spot for their guisados. My last few visits were met with slow and unfriendly servers. I ordered the tacos al carbon and they just lazily filled it with beef stew. Not what I ordered. The camarones a la mexicana were very good. But the new slow and rude servers and cashier will keep me out of what used to be a fav lunch spot.

Get the tacos Al carbon, you won't regret it! Love the home style Mexican food this place serves. Truly is authentic and one of the few in the north Dallas area. Service is always on point and friendly!

Caldo de pollo

The food is decent, the chips are always pretty stale. And the servers arent super friendly. I found myself having to ask random waitresses for refills and extra salsa because our actual waitress would hardly return. I've visited this location over 5 times and had all the same experiences. The best thing i've ordered is the the Caldo De Pollo.

This place knows how to cook Mexican food! 100% authentic. Avoid the bathrooms though.

Great authentic mexican food. Chilaquiles were great, not traditional with sauce, more like migas and the refried beans were great.

If you're ever craving Tex-Mex, I would recommend El Rincon. The service was quick and they…read moreconstantly refilled our tortilla chip basket. Everything that my friends and I ordered was amazing. I highly suggest the Mexican fried rice.

Came here for dinner with my family of six. There was no wait, and we were seated very quickly. The…read morerestaurant was busy, and there was also patio seating available. The bathrooms weren't the nicest but also not the worst--one of the stall doors didn't lock, though they had added something to help with that. The inside is pretty nice, and our waiter came over shortly after we were seated. We ordered appetizers and drinks, and the appetizers arrived in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the service wasn't the best. Our server would leave for long periods and didn't check on us, even though she passed by our table multiple times and we clearly needed assistance. She also addressed us with very casual language like "yeah," which didn't feel very professional. That said, the food was excellent. Everything starting with the chips and salsa was great--the salsa was one of the best fresh salsas I've ever had. We also ordered the cheese quesadillas, and they were perfect in every way. My entrée was delicious as well; the cheese and meat were cooked perfectly, and the rice and beans were great. (I got the fajita Monterrey) Overall, the food was very tasty, but the service could definitely be more professional. Also, the menu is not very flexible--you can't substitute ingredients (like removing onions from the guacamole) or order off-menu items such as egg tacos, even though they have the ingredients. The food was good, but I'm not sure I loved the service.
