I've been here several times for gel manicures and they do a good job for a basic manicure. Designs are not their strong suit. I've had them do a couple of basic designs and they come out quite messy. My French manicure was also kind of messy as well. I go here for just a single color manicure for a decent price. I see that this place has lovely ratings but I never got through the door due to the fact that the woman who answers the phone was extremely rude. I'm planning a special experience for my best friend well in advance and called to make an appointment there. The woman on the phone seems to think that I need to plan my day around everyone who is going to prom and made me make my appointment earlier than I wanted to and then rudely told me not to be late as she got off the phone. It didn't sit well with me so I simply made another appointment without any issues down the street, without having to plan around anyone else or being told what to do. I even called back to cancel my appointment to be a nice person and she hung up on me! I guess she does business this way and I hope she has better from other people but it won't be from me! read more

This place was alright. Pedicure massage was great and for a hot stone thought it was priced well at $45. Also got dip nails with an extension. They look okay, but shape isn't what I asked for and the two hands are different sizes and not the same shape. My Cuticles are also super cut up. This place is awesome and I'll definitely be back. So this is my very first pedicure and I'm not going to lie it's amazing!! They clip your nails, cubicle maintenance, scrub the bottom of your feet, then massage your feet and legs (my favorite part). My wife asked me if I wanted to do it with her and I was skeptical because I have the most ticklish feet ever, but it never really tickled and was super relaxing. Will definitely be back! read more

Horrible manicure I received yesterday at Tip to Toe in Parker! The nail tech sawed back and forth over my nails and cuticles with a rough file and actually scraped off skin, I have the red, raw sore to show it. My nails show the back and forth scrape marks and even three coats of clear I applied myself are not covering those. She applied the base of the tips halfway down my nails, and already the corners of the acrylic near my cuticles are crumbling. Although my natural nails are very short, I know the tips did not have to be attached that far down. I wasn't really paying attention to how the tips were applied until she'd already done four of my nails, so I just decided to continue. Had I know she was going to literally scrape skin off I would have stopped right when I noticed the tip application. My nails look horrible and there are red, raw scrapes on many of my cuticles. When they heal I'll be soaking this mess off in acetone at home. It was my first acrylic nails mani in a few years, as I can not usually afford it because I live on disability. I used to get them routinely for years when working so I know how a good one is supposed to be done and how it should look; perfectly smooth and shiny without scrape marks! Never, ever going to Tip to Toe again. $45.00 for a MESS! read more

Note: This review is based on my first visit but I was very positively impressed. Nice place. Very friendly staff who knows their regular customers and greets them by name. They did a very thorough job on my pedicure and even gave me some advice on how to better take care of my nails between visits. I loved the atmosphere. Rather than having the 'hospital waiting room' feeling that a lot of other nail places have, this place is nice and feels welcoming to be in. They have attractive wood furniture, lovely artwork on the walls, a water feature and soft music playing. The staff that did my services were all really friendly and spoke good English so it was easy to communicate with them about what I wanted. (And they spoke English even to each other which was nice). Clearly they enjoy working together as there was a little friendly teasing that made the visit fun. Cost was about the same as other places I've checked around here but the experience was MUCH better. I'll definitely be back and probably become a regular if they are this good every time. Final note: They do take walk-ins but prefer appointments so you might want to call ahead. Getting an appointment was easy though, even on a busy Saturday afternoon. read more

They took less than 15 mins for the pedi, and did not even touch my heels, which needed some work. When I asked if that was it I was told "that's what you paid for" NOooo I paid for a beautician to do HER JOB and "provide you of excellent nail salon services that you need and want." as there website says. No massage of the hands, forearms, lower legs or feet. Where is the "upscale salon services" in that? What a complete waste of $30 and my time. And where was the owner you say? "oh she is never here" really... This place deserves what it gets...which apparently from the lack of customers means its on its way out. NEVER AGAIN will I waste my time or money in this sorry excuse for a salon, let a lone a "Upscale" salon. I have been here twice and thought maybe the second time would be better. I went because there was no wait. Well maybe I should have waited. Both times I have received a pedicure and both times the polish chips, doesn't stay shinny, and looks like I gave myself a pedicure. Other places in parker charge $22-$25 for a pedicure for $30 plus your tip I would expect a that they can at least look as good as the other places. I got a $15 gift certificate to go here and just landed on getting a manicure. The lady who did my nails was friendly but she worked way too fast like she was in a hurry or something. When she was done painting my nails she put me at the dryer for what seemed like forever. I had these little bubbles forming on my nail polish and when they popped they created this lumpy texture. The lady who did my nails was talking on the phone indoors for the first twenty minutes (didn't seem like a business conversation) and then took her call outside leaving me alone in the salon. When I look at the few poor reviews I can't help but think that they can't actually be referring to Tip to Toe Nails. I've been going there for years and I've never had anything but the best service. They are extremely accommodating, friendly and professional. They always do their very best to fit me in even when I show up without an appointment and I'd say 95% of the time they do just that. There was a reference to the female owner and all I can say is that she's my favorite. She's always smiling and she does a great job. I HIGHLY recommend Tip to Toe Nails. If I could give this salon 6 stars out of 5 I would! The environment here is very quiet and allowed me to relax from all my stress throughout the day. It was my first time there and I got the tangerine spa pedicure. With this pedicure I received a long massage and some hot stones that were the just the perfect temperature. The employees here made an effort to talk to me and I really liked how they were able to maintain a professional yet very welcoming attitude towards their customers. This place is my go to place. I've never gone anywhere else when it comes to my nails and my eyebrows I always trust tip to toe nails. Also, they have reasonable prices with great service. I love how welcoming the environment is and it is the cleanest nail salon I've gone to compared to the ones I've visited before. Not only is the place great, but the service is phenomenal. My nails lasted for a long time and didn't chip easily. They definitely know what they're doing and sometimes I ask for a certain design and Jesika does it very well. Their pedicures are so relaxing. I read the positive reviews here and I chose to go to Tip To Toe Nails today. I was very happy with the place! It was easy to find it, plenty of parking, and the salon was spacious. The ladies there were all very nice, and they spoke very good English. I met Minjie who made my appointment and gave me the quote for the service I requested on the phone. I noticed how clean the place was, and I found out that the owner painted the paintings hanging on the walls, the decor was relaxing and geared towards ladies like myself. Lilian did my nails (I asked for a fill) and she was very meticulous and worked fast. My nails were perfect! They charged me what they quoted me, no hidden or any additional charge. When I was drying my nails, Lilian even gave me a quick arms and shoulder rub which felt so good after getting my nails done. I highly recommend this place! read more

What a joke this place is. My husband and I came here because our usual place couldn't get us in. The woman who gave my husband a pedicure rubbed his legs for 10 minutes and then moved on to the the next customer. When we asked if she was coming back or if another girl was taking over she said that she was done. Since when is a 10 minute pedicure sufficient? NEVER!! The best part was when they brought out the towels to put under our feet and they were hard and crunchy. The salon was quite nice, clean and relaxing with lots of colors to choose from. they've done a nice job giving it a "spa" feel. Everyone was nice. I got a mani pedi and while the pedi looks good, my nails are not so great. They're fine, but just fine. I needed cuticle work done and it just wasn't a great job and they are filed a little crooked. I usually go to Milano on Hilltop (they are amazing!), but they couldn't get me in on short notice for both a pedicure and silk nail "rebase". I stopped in and believe I had one of the owner's, the woman. I believe the owners are a husband and wife team from what I saw... As for the services, they were TERRIBLE. My rebase was the worst fill experience I've ever had, seriously. The woman barely filed the rebase material and it's bumpy/lumpy and the service is rough. She also did not file or shape them well at all and they look chunky and too wide. The paint job is also one of the worst I've ever experienced, they look bumpy, bubbly and just really bad. After drying under the lamp for a bit and noticing all the issues I asked for her to address them...she would only reapply a clear topcoat and that's it. I just can't believe someone in the business, and an owner no less, would be this unskilled and unprofessional. My pedicure (same person) was also fast, rushed and sloppy. What was supposed to be a "me" afternoon and relaxation literally stressed me out. I wasted like $60.00...and I'm an idiot because I tipped before realizing the extent of the issues. Plus it's awkward when they have yet to paint when you pay and tip... I will not use this salon again and wouldn't recommend...it was a very rushed and sloppy service and I'm super disappointed as my two services are expensive together. I will never use anyone except Milano again, lesson learned! read more
