Pork belly, chips and guac
Katie N.

Stopped on our way through town, their website says they're open late but we were told kitchen closes at 9, we got there just in time! Very cute place, and the waitress was very attentive and gave us recommendations, came back often to check on us and refill our drinks. Lots of drink options, including cocktails, wine, beer, cider. I got a grapefruit radler which I don't see too often. Several yummy looking things in the menu, and vegetarian and gluten free options. I went with the recommendation of vegetarian fried rice, topped with a fried egg. My friend got the chips and guac and pork belly side. We both liked the food quite a bit! A great find! Lots of people were there, and there was live music which was a bit loud, but definitely recommend this spot.

My bridal shower at Tiny's. It was suggest by a friend but I had never been. The experience was wonderful! The entire staff was attentive to our party and there were other large parties there. I had the salmon salad and 2 espresso martinis, both were delicious. The food was so good we all sampled each others' - apple French toast, chicken biscuit with cheese grits, fries and the grilled PB&J. I should have ordered one of those to go. The coffee bar is quite large on the inside with two sides and a nice size bar.

What a surprise. In town for a funeral and stopped by to get some coffee and a bite to eat. We were immediately greeted by the staff and told to pick a table. I was shocked to see the prices. An iced latte with syrup in Atlanta would normally cost me at least $7. Their lattes start at $4.50. After we ordered the drinks quickly came out. And man, it was good. Presentation and taste were great. Food came out after that and it was just as good as the drink. I had the chicken biscuit. There's a really nice jam that comes on it with their house pickles. Again, great flavor. We stayed about a hour after finishing our food. It's a great place to just sit and talk. The place is spacious, music wasn't too loud, they have tvs playing in the background, and a huge clean bathroom. Not sure when I'll be back in town but I'll definitely be making my way back here.

The owner & hostess was extremely bright & engaging & provided the perfect table for our party of 4 adults plus my 1 year old nephew. The table bread was a beautifully light & herby focaccia paired w some sort of artisan butter. Definitely hit the spot. All entrees were really nicely done. I so enjoyed the scallops appetizer as my entree. Perfectly cooked & seasoned & served w roasted garlic cloves & a luscious sauce. A lot of surprises & all of them reasons to return.

Unfortunately, when a place is this level of hype and price, the first trip means a ton and the expectations are high. The good: - awesome atmosphere, deck is great, and overlooks the lake. Couldn't be a better spot to dine out. - service was good, even though they were busy they didn't have us wait a while for anything. -scallops were excellent, perfect sear on them. The reason for the low review: - Beef Wellington.... It's rare to find and we heard so many people comment that's why they were they, including us. It says 10 oz filet, it was not tonight. It was some 3 sliced cut beef that was well well done. Despite being told it would be medium rare. - Seasoning. Nothing had salt or pepper. Everything had garlic. And by garlic I mean huge cloves of it. Both the scallops and filet had cloves of garlic all over. The filet was cooked great, but I didn't have any juice from the steak and the flavor was blown out by the garlic. Just refer to a majority of my reviews, more than willing to pay a premium price for an awesome dining experience, but the food is first and foremost important. Maybe we got them on a bad night, but unfortunately that was our experience. Edited to add pictures to review from 05June.

I have to admit, the place is waaaaay bigger on the inside than expected. There's a large u-shaped bar with nice lighting, some small high-top tables and chairs, a stage toward the back for the live jazz and blues bands, and even a lounge area with a fireplace and cozy chairs & end tables. Cute and trendy, a nice place for a date. The servers are prompt and friendly. But we ordered Stoli and sodas and pretty much got huge glasses of just vodka on the rocks. I'm not convinced the bartenders really know how to mix a drink, but I'll try a different cocktail next time (although it's kinda hard to mess up a Stoli and soda, right?). The flyer for Dirtty's says in big, bold letters "Adults 40 and Up" which could be just the kind of vibe your looking for, or maybe not your thing at all. Either way, they're very up front about it. My friend happens to be 30 and joked the whole night about being upset that she wasn't carded. C'est la vie. Currently they are open Thursday through Sunday and charge a reasonable $5 cover. Our drinks were $7 each, which is also reasonable considering it was a giant glass of vodka. All in all, we enjoyed our time at Dirtty's and will probably be back. Since they just recently opened, I will forgive the mediocre drink and hope for the best next time. It really is a cute place to enjoy a cocktail with friends and hear some live music by the fire.

Second time I tried to visit was on 2017 New Years Eve. My husband and I pulled in parking lot about 8:30ish and you could hear the music playing from outside but again when we got to door it was locked and we tried knocking but no one ever came to door. The Windows are made of glassblock so that wasn't helpful when trying to knock. I've tried to contact by Facebook, email and phone and have failed to get through. Really disappointed as I would love to see what this place has to offer. However, a business that has wrong contact information on their site and no recent updates on their webpage makes you wonder about the establishment.

Glad I made the trip and checked this place out! Absolutely delicious and very generous portions. I had the Bronx plate and it was fantastic! To find a gem like this serving food this unique in northwest Indiana is rare. I can't comment if this is the best version of this type of meal having never tried something like it before, but I found it to be absolutely delicious. I will be a repeat customer after this experience. Other things I can mention, the gentleman behind the counter was nice and friendly. There is a few small 2 person tables if you want to dine in, but it's mainly a carry out place in my opinion. The wait time was not very long. Definitely cooked to order and fresh.
